There are certain menu items that have me coming back to Jack in the Box when the craving hits: croissant breakfast sandwiches, Jumbo Jack with cheese (but no pickles), the fried tacos, the egg rolls, and definitely the chicken tater melt! This is also a place, no matter where it is, I use the convenience of the drive thru. I've seen the complaints about orders being wrong and let's face it, yes, you tend to get screwed in the drive thru more than inside as far as getting the order wrong, but in my experience, if I call the store and tell them about the screw up they graciously offer to make it right by comping their mistake at your next visit. Just take a moment to do this and you'll (hopefully) feel better about it. Other than that, service is usually quick and friendly, especially from the employees who have been there for years and are experienced. Besides having a lot of menu options, another thing that I appreciate is that Jack in the Box serves breakfast all day. Again, this goes back to their yummy breakfast croissant sandwiches (be sure to get a side of hashbrowns!), which is just a nice comfort meal for a quick dinner. We had to work late tonight, Sunday, and there are limited options at 8:30pm, and my wife wanted Jack in the Box, so we went to the closest one. The dining room was closed so we had to take the food out. When we got back and laid out our food I noticed a small curly hair in my French Fries. Both my wife and I have straight hair. I didn't think much of it until I was about half way through eating my Sourdough Jack and noticed another hair on the wrapper. Just got Jack In the Box in KY for the first time, and the lines are long from high interest. So we flew here to LA for vacation and the demand is... a bit lower Unlike in KY, Cali offers boba tea drinks and chicken teriyaki bowl. Both are great, esp the boba. I date a Filipino and we try legit good boba on our travels. I had very low expectations, and it exceeded them. Super sweet but full flavor! Consistently gets order wrong. Always having to go back. Today was no different. By the time I was looking at two burgers out of three wrong I just threw everything back in the bag and went into the location. Was questioned up and down by whoever was working the counter said he would remake the whole order because I complained that the whole order is going to be cold by the time we get back to our house. They consistently messed up my order, but they do it with a warm smile, so I'm torn on how to rate their service. lol! Even if I'm literally their only customer and I'm ordering one item with no special requests, they still give me something completely different. However, it has led me to try something new on occasion. Maybe it's a sneaky marketing tactic? Aside from that the food is good. They do need to clean their lines in their drink fountain, though. This might be the worst jack in the box I've been to. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo, apart from waiting for 15 minutes. Went through drive thru today ordered my food and so far with what I got I should have gotten 2-3 sauces as I got 10 piece nuggets and 3 piece jalapeño poppers. As soon as I got to the window I told the guy I want 4 ranch and 2 Buffalo sauce thinking he will figure what I get and what needs to be charged as extra. Not only was she rude to me she also wouldn't give me ANY sauces unless I paid for them. I am so blown away how I can drop $60.00 for dinner for my family. We get home and we are missing a chicken ranch bacon sandwich. I called to ask if I could please cone and get it. I know I had written another review from a couple of weeks back stating my displeasure with this particular location and that I would not be returning but I did in fact go back because of convenience and proximity to my work. This time instead of the drive thru I opted to walk in. I was with a co-worker and there were two people in the dining area apparently waiting on their food.... We stood there at the order counter...Someone attending to the orders saw us but turned back to what they were doing without even acknowledging our presence or summoning anyone else there to come take our order. Another person came out and was standing at the register doing something which I am unsure of. She barely even looked up at us standing 2 feet in front of her and finally grumbled "be right with you".....we continued to stand there while this woman did whatever she was doing, still right in front of us.....and we waited.....and waited......and waited........ Finally fed up we turned and left without ordering or to put it more truthfully, without even having a chance to order. Its 11:00 and even though their hours are 4am to 4am essentially always open, they are closed. Bad management if their hours are different. There are places with only 2 or 3 employees that effectively maintain their online listings that show their operating hours, so this means that either ownership, management, or both parties have little regard for their branches image and consideration for their customers. I'm visiting my moms house and wanted to grab something to eat that was quick and convenient and I noticed a Jack in the Box was nearby! Me and my brother stopped by in the early afternoon and we honestly ordered a lot of food but all of the employees were understanding. The food was really good, as always, and the employees, although it seemed they may have been rushed, were relatively kind and quick.
