Misleading and incompetent staff. I came here last night to take my drunk family to enjoy some Jack since they don't have any where they live. Their last wish before the left this country was to enjoy some Jack, just like they used to 20 years ago. Instead, what they enjoyed was disappointment and displeasure mixed with rage. We waited in line for almost 30 mins. Once we get to the drive thru, the lady yells at us saying that their computer is out of order and that it isn't taking any orders. That's it. I ask what she wants us to do, and she repeats it again in an even more rude tone. She made my family cry from how loud she yelled at us. I'm not sure what she expected from us regarding her lack of communication and empathy. Not even a "sorry, you guys are going to have to leave" or a "hey free tacos just cause you guys waited to long". At least put a damn cone in front of the drive thru blocking it off instead of wasting 30 mins of my life that I'm never going to get back. The last place I want to waste my time is at a Jack in the box drive thru at 2 AM getting yelled at by someone who's depressed by her life choices. I placed a mobile order and the app said it would be ready in 7 to 9 minutes. Pretty exact timing. So I got there in 5 minutes and told the guy at the speaker and he ask me how long ago did I put it in. I told him and he said ok move up. Not sure what that was about. I wait in lines for about 15 minutes and the guy only hand me 2 tacos. I ask him where the rest of my order was and then he ask me what else did I have and I told him, it was a bacon cheeseburger. After another 2 or 3 minute he hands me another bag. He did say thank you and have a nice night. Once I got back to my hotel the food was horrible. Take a look at my pictures. Nice clean restaurant great customer service from coming inside getting greeted loving the snow whenever we were ready. Nice to servers two people at the counter very friendly very clean. Food was nice and fast and hot. Got napkins got sauces. No problem with refills just greet it. very nice nice music in their plan. Very busy nice air conditioning in here is very nice. BEWARE! This location is super shady on their portions! Peep my picture, but on this first visit I tried the loaded fries and when I got home the container was barely half full! On the way back from 2 days at lake Tahoe I stopped here to have their new smash burger. Not bad however they forgot my 2 tacos I ordered (drive thru.) no big deal. First time on drive thru: chocolate milkshake had extra dark chocolate syrup in the bottom and all over...when i tasted it ...it was ALL sugar inside. The don't know the proper ingredient measurements. Second time on drive thru: caramel iced coffee had all caramel in the bottom and was watered down. Taste was also all sugar. Employees don't know how to properly make iced coffees. Third time on drive thru: the jr bacon cheeseburger had all the ingredients except for the main part... there was no meat in it... This place is a hit or miss, but mostly a miss... too bad jack is the only place open 24/7 in the area. Open your food and taste it before you take off. Still no imorovement. Yes, it's a holiday. But I know this location is open 24/7. A while back I found out they have 0 holidays off. Knowing that I try to be more patient. Especially when it's made to order. ( that's why the drive-thru always seems to be backed up and it takes a little while.) But today before preparing dinner, to go get some lunch. We decided to use some coupons I got in the mail. It was for two sourdough Jack's two small fries and two small sodas. Quick and simple shouldn't be an issue. Well I was wrong. Apparently the car in front of me must have been an old high school friend of the girl working the drive-thru. After she handed the car their order they proceeded to talk and laugh for almost 10 minutes. Thankfully it ends in the car drives away and it's my turn. The cashier then proceeds to tell me that the syrup for the soda machine has run out. Since soda came with the coupons I asked what I can have instead. She gives me a tiny bottle of water and a tiny box of apple juice. I asked if there was something else if I could have a milkshake instead. I would pay the difference. She said no. That she could only do that but then the coupon could not be used. So I start questioning more. Come to find out the guy to put the new syrup in is on break. And there's nobody else there that can lift it? My daughter works in a restaurant and she's constantly lifting 50 to 100 pounds a day. I thought that was part of the job requirement being able to lift things. At least it was when I work fast food back in the day. I would chalk it up to just a bad day. Except this Jack in the Box is no glorious we're getting food orders wrong or just plain leaving things out. And they always like to never give you a receipt unless you ask. I don't go here often because of issues. But you think after twenty or so years somebody could get their s*** together. So if you do go to this Jack in the Box, know you're going to be there for a while and don't try to substitute items using coupons. That's normal for most restaurants. However if they run out of materials to honor the coupon, other places have offered substitutions at no charge. Some places will allow you to make substitutions if you do pay an upcharge. read more

The register was not accepting cash, which seems to be the case almost every time I come to this location. Two different people came to the window asking me if I wanted dressing for my salad and they still forgot it. They typically forget something in any order you get and it's just a very unorganized place. They definitely need better management and better training. Jack in the box is just that. It the go to place to go on a late night of drinking lol. It's the only place you know is always open. The menu is good and they are always getting new items. The loaded tiny tacos are good. Also the regular tacos are good as well. The jumbo jack and spicy chicken is a go to as well. The iced coffee is good to. I definitely will always come to this place. The only thing I wouldn't recommend getting that I had so far is the chili burger. read more

Worst fast food sandwich I've ever had the displeasure of paying for. I think they put the chix patty through the deep fryer about 3 or 4 times hrs ago, then let it sit out for hrs. Then they put this cold stale piece of chix jerky on some leftover stale bread from this morning, tossed on a cold glob of "cheese" and a few rock hard (and cold) onion rings and had the nerve to charge me six bucks for it. We ordered food here today and the person at the counter named all of our items stating what was in each bag. So we believed we received all of our food. However, when we got home our jumbo jack was missing and it didn't make sense to go all the way back. Next time, I will not rely on the staff when they tell me what is in the bag. This has been happening a lot more at various restaurants. Not sure if it's the stress of the pandemic but it is very frustrating to not get the food you paid for. read more

I'm sad that the service at this location has gone so downhill. They now have you pay at the drive through window then park. They will then bring your food out to you. Unfortunately I was left out there for 15 minutes and the lady running the store forgot I was out there. I would say the new way of doing things isn't working. I love the breakfast at Jack in the Box so I keep going back even though service is poor. As weird as it sounds for a fast food joint, they seem to be doing a fantastic job! The hispanic ladies that run this joint have their jobs executed SO well. I generally do the drive-thru, but sometimes I walk in, if I'm with family or something. Never, ever had an order be wrong, never had an order be sloppy or inconsistent. They are always polite, courteous, always give me my perfect change. No complaints! The people taking your order here are much better than the other JIB I have been to. At the speaker the person is attentive and clear. My pet peeve is being interrupted with questions before I have the chance to completely place my order, or repeating what I already said in a series of follow up questions. This is not the case here. I place my order, they ask if it looks correct on the screen, I agree, and they promptly confirm my price. I do spend a little more time at the window waiting for my food, but I do say it must take time to be able to provide such a large menu. I have never had anything cold. I really like the breakfast menu, (sausage croissant, as well as my favorite 2 tacos for $1. I frequent and will continue to do so, when I have a craving for unhealthyness. read more
