The only reason I deviated from them back like 35 years ago, they had a chicken bacon cheddar sandwich that just was amazing. I ate one probably every day. I just bought a sourdough jack and it was nine dollars with tax. I added an extra petty for a dollar tip and the total was $10.06. For a double burger at Jack-in-the-Box. Not exceptionally large. I have had a couple issues here always at night and always the white kids who work there and I myself am white. They're disrespectful, rude, rushing out soggy and super greasy food and when you call to tell them they argue and deny it . So I spend 40 to 30 dollars every night besides Monday night and Wed nights thats 200 a week and 800 a month thats like me paying yall rent. Mostly everyone is very kind but every last white kid there either gets mad they have to remake stuff and kicks stuff over like a child or argues with the customers on the phone. I swore I wasn't gunna come back last time after the kicking incident but the female Hispanic manager convinced me and has always taken care of me so I returned. Usually they aren't bad I mean it's fast food so it's not gourmet but tonight 8/28/23 I went there got a ultimate cheeseburger and . I was a chef for 12 years so trust me when I say this. They cooked the Pattie's in the fryer there's was grease running everywhere off the burger the outside of the patty was crispy and it tasted like fryer oil. Walk in to a surprise. The place is spotless! All the tables are wiped, chairs are pushed in no trash on the floor. These days walking into a clean fast food place is nice! Parking is really good here plenty of spaces easy in and out. Food looks good fries are fresh....all in all it's a great experience! There is not much so say about the food really fast food is fast food so to me the state of the store is the most important part. I will say the the only negative is the lady who takes your order Aileen. There is nothing friendly about her. Be prepared to not be treated all that well if she is taking care of you. An incident occurred on 30 March 2018 at the J-in-the-B in Reno NV at 185 Lemmon Dr, Zip 89506, where an employee told me to "F*** off" and wanted to fight after I asked a simple question to get another customer help. I had been inside earlier, but after waiting around to order with the cashier not giving me the time of day, just talking to other people cooking and pretending to look at various food order monitors at the Drive Thru window, I decided I would be more comfortable sitting in my truck. In the drive thru, there was one car at the ordering menu, no visible cars in front of it, and two cars behind it. I pulled up last in line. Over the course of the next 10+ minutes, the car at the menu doesn't budge an inch. All the drivers are just kinda looking around at each other out of our side windows and the lead car is looking back at us, shrugging and putting his hands up like he doesn't know why he's not being helped. I decided I'm going to go back inside and I just manage to maneuver my truck out of line and into a parking spot (5 additional vehicles had accumulated behind me). I walked inside and the young Spanish gentleman working the cashier is there still and doesn't greet me, again. I say "Excuse me, did you know there's a line of cars in the drive thru that haven't moved in 10 minutes and nobody is helping the guy at the ordering menu?" to which he replies "What do you want me to do about it, I don't work the Drive Thru". Not only was that unprofessional, I find it funny that he pretended to work the drive thru instead of taking my order earlier. I respond with "But, you do work HERE, right?" and he replies with "Just get the F#&% out of here!" I was a bit shocked. "Did you just tell me to get the F#&% out?" He was silent. So I walked further into the restaurant and grab the attention of two girls hanging out at the fry station. "Hey, your employee over here just told me to FUCK OFF!" Now the potty-mouthed cashier "No, man, I said to chill out". "I know what you said, and that wasn't it". "Hey man, just F#&% off or I'll F#&%ING follow you outside!" I was not going to be intimidated by this teenager, but his other employees starting pulling him backwards. This attitude, lack of service, and vulgar vocabulary has lost you a customer. Absolutely was the last straw, especially since lately the employees apparently thought it was funny to put EXTRA hot sauce on my tacos whenever I ask for NO hot sauce (and the receipt even shows the 86 on hot sauce), constantly forgetting items in the bag, and consistently having a habit of not only no greeting when at the cashier inside, but being ignored while "pretending" to work without actually doing anything productive (happened this day, happens most days I go inside, regardless of employee). I'm just done with this place. The GM/Owner obviously doesn't have a finger on the pulse of his establishment. read more

I really wish we could give a no star rating. I go through the drivethru today. Ordered a number three meal medium size with a coke no ice, and a order of mozzarella sticks. I get to the window and they didn't know which order mine. So I told them what I had ordered. I get my drink and it's full of ice. I tell the lady at the window, and she said I ordered it with extra ice. I tell her I specifically ordered my drink with no ice and my receipt shows no ice. I love Jack in the Box's food, and the food at this one has been awesome. HOWEVER - I have been here a total of 7 or 8 times, and EVERY TIME except ONCE, I have waited a MINIMUM of 15 minutes for my food. The most was 30 minutes in the drive thru. It was comical like I was on a Boiling Points episode or something. And the last 3 times I've been there (after waiting an asinine amount of time), there was food missing from my order. I'm not a crazy, impatient person or anything - but this is just ridiculous. Twice I tried parking and going inside, thinking it would be faster, but nope - waited 15-20 min there too. I have been offered free food 3 times as a "sorry for the wait in the drive thru". If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I've been driving on the road for a few hours and decided to stop for a bite. The drive thru was slightly busy so I took that into account. I ordered a teriyaki bowl. I've had gastric surgery so my food choices and amounts are very limited. Not only did it take FOREVER in line at the drive thru 37 minutes to be exact, but when I got my bowl, I realized I didn't get any utensils. I could've gone to a full service restaurant in that amount of time and had a cocktail with my meal. The lobby was closed so the only way for me to get utensils would be to get back in that ridiculous drive thru line and WAIT for them. Who knows what I would've gotten had I don'e that. Whoever was working drive thru should be spoken with at the very least, about their terrible service. I won't be coming back to this location EVER again and it's no wonder they have 2.5 stars. Wanna know which Jack In The Box is the worst? This one. Saturday April 7th at around 11pm, my boyfriend and I went to this Jack In The Box on the way home, wanting our traditional munchie meal. The amount of things wrong with this trip made me decide to never step foot in this Jack In The Box again. Lets start from the beginning. We had ordered our usual chicken and tater munchie meals with no lettuce in the tacos, one large Jumpin' Jack Splash and one large unsweetened iced tea. As we pull up to the window, waiting in line for almost 15 minutes, the girl hands me my drink. This girl had given me a watered down black coffee... Never have I tasted something so disgusting until then. They took a while to come back to the window for me to tell them about my drink and to ask for some taco sauce. The one that had came up to the window was a guy at that point and when we had told him I was given a watered down coffee, he seemed to be annoyed with me, like it was my fault. He walks away with the drink and the girl comes to help us again. She asks if I wanted something else to drink and I just asked if she could give me Sprite because I'm not taking anymore chances. We then go on to ask for our taco sauce and go on home. When we get home and start to open up our food, I was given buffalo wing sauce??? For my tacos??? We were also given our tacos WITH lettuce, even though the receipt said NO LETTUCE. Given a chicken and tater sandwich with barely any cheese at all, and also the Sprite tasted completely watered down as well? My boyfriend and I had no interest in eating anything at thing point, and wasted our money. Either this Jack In The Box is hiring people that have listening skills of a five year old, or they were purposely ruining our meal. I know, I know, it's fast food, and we don't do it very often. But I have to say, if I do fast food, I like Jack in the Box as one of the best. This one is closest to our home, and I really haven't had very many issues here. They almost never get the order wrong, they are friendly, and the food is always as it should be from what it shows on the menu. Last time we went through, it was no exception. I have to say, they have some of the best fries, they are always hot, crispy, and done just right. I always order the same thing, and Ultimate Cheeseburger with no sauce, and they never mess it up. I love my burgers that way, just meat, and cheese, which is one of the reasons I love JinB, they get me!! I also love their tacos, I just can't help it. I know, they're nothing like real tacos, but I've loved them since I was a kid growing up in San Diego, so I can't help myself, I just crave them sometimes. Main Course - Two taco's for 99 cents, what a deal. You will not find this kind of tacos at Taco Bell. They are so greasy and yummy. I love the little heat they pack. The tacos do not have a cracking mess that you normally find with hard shells. Dessert - Surprise, surprise we got some free churros. Right before we were handed our bag he asked if we wanted some free churros. Duh! Yes we do! I know they are free but I am afraid this will now be added to the drunk fest. They are little, one or two bites per churro, and you get a little bag full of them. I love how they have a cinnamon cream cheese filling.
