If I could select negative five stars I would. So one star one will have to do. I've been coming to this location for a while and the manager name Koy in there is always rude....never friendly. I'm actually surprise she still works. I've ignored her and just order my meal. The service most of time is slow and the other employees are never friendly except for the guy with the ponytail. But today was the last draw for me. My mother and I made two separate orders. Her order included a small fry and my mother complained about the small amount she received. The employees started laughing and staring as if it were her fault her. Once my mother left the manager was talking mess to the employees about my mother and didn't realize I was still sitting in the dining area waiting on my order. I immediately went off and she tried to play it off and said "your mother is always nice". Sure you did!!! Once I heard her loud mouth taking mess she starting arguing with me too. Did a mobile order and they didn't receive it. The 3 ladies working tonight kept saying they couldn't make the food without receiving the order because the payment probably didn't go thru. Payment was charged my card and the app showed it was paid. They were very rude. I don't know they employ these ladies. They told us to pull over and to wait 5-10 mins. No one came out then went back to drive thru and once again rude and didn't receive the mobile order. Pulled up to the window they had another young lady at the window with attitude and was rude. We asked for general manager info and she said look on the window and then slammed the window. This place needs to fix their darn microphone at the drive through! They are always messing up my order. I love the customer service, very nice people and always willing to fix any mistakes. It just stinks that I may drive all the way back home to find out someone got the wrong meal or no meal at all which requires me to drive back and re-order. I live relatively close. I'm saying this because when I don't feel like cooking, I would rather get something quick thats close. However, every time I try to spend my money at this location anytime after 7pm, I am always rudely told that their system is down. Depending on who's working it's either hit or miss. Either they'll let you order or they'll just tell you their system is down especially if there's already a long line. I'm not sure if that's what their manager told them to do or that's just their policy but it's a huge inconvenience. good luck! read more

Sitting in my truck in their parking lot feeding my dog what I ordered. Earlier when I walked in, a employee was mopping the floor. She was nice and said "I'll be right w u." And she went straight to cash register and did ask what I would like to order. I asked her if there is any hand santizer. She said "No we don't have any." I guess she saw my eyebrows go up and turned to the male at the grease station and asked him if there was any hand sanitizer and he at first said no and then said maybe some in the back. He nor she went to check. No hand santizer showed up while I waited for my order (the order I am subsequently feeding my dog). The worst fast food place I've ever ordered from. If u order from the app, there's a good possibility u will not receive ur food. If the delivery driver can't find u, they won't call u to try and find out where u are. They just cancel the order. I called to see if I could pick up my order instead, and the fine folks over at this Jack in the Box literally said "not my problem". They were rude, hung up on me, and gave me attitude for their businesses shitty app. I understand they don't control the delivery person, but I ordered through THEIR app. So it IS their responsibility to fulfill the order regardless of what the delivery person did. I have been going to this Jack in the box for YEARS, but I'll never order from this place again. They clearly don't give a shit about good customer service. I stopped in to get a quick bite and I saw a lady with light facial hair at the counter. Someone who looked like management called her "sir" she replied that she was a she. The manager said, "My religious beliefs don't let me call you that." In a rather rude tone. The lady left in tears. I left as well. To me, without a full examination I can't be certain, she may have had hirsutism. A medical condition that causes hair to grow on a female face, arms and back. It's not physically harmful but emotionally embarrass. I'm assuming the manager assumes this lady was transgender, which may true. But I didn't realize that Jack in the Box was a religious establishment that discriminates. If she chose to insult a customer with a medical condition I can imagine what was said about the freakishly tall redhead (me) that walked out of there after saying "How rude!" read more

Im writing this review because I went to this Jack in the box today about 9:30 am the lady that was working the drive thru was very rude.. I said to myself, Okay no big deal but I get to the window to pick up my order and paid her she slammed the window after handing me one soda..so when she came back ,I asked her about the second soda... she said "I was getting it and closed the window rudely again. Then finally she comes back almost tossing the meal into my car, before I could ask for my receipt and ranch sauce she closes the window again I honked my horn she looks walks away then after 5 min of waiting another lady comes to the window and I told her that lady was so rude and I told her I wanted some ranch sauce..she apologized for the rudeness of her coworker and gave me the sauce. I don't know how they call this customer service ? I don't know what her problem was but maybe she should have called in today..It really upset me because I came there spending my money I work hard for. I consult with many businesses in Sac for over 20 years and I understand the fast pace and turnover for talent goes in fast food. I've been coming here for years but finally had to write that yet another item was missing from my order when I got home. Customer service was great but the quality control of the restaurant has always needed help in the drive thru. Most times I just disregard the item but I started to realize for all of us that miss one thing and never return to get it back (waste drive and time) the owner profits and a sale never costing the business product technically. I did go back the next day but of course I ended up buying something again rather than wasting a drive and time to JB. Great way to leave a product out and get customers to return to spend money if this was the angle which I hope is not. I rarely yelp but I had to get these thoughts out. read more

The food here is good. The drive thru is usually fast and my orders are correct (always double check). The staff aren't stingy with their buttermilk and sauces like other food chains. I've tried almost everything off the menu before but I like the ultimate cheeseburger and chicken sandwiches w/ cheese. As for inside, its been updated. There is pub style seating against the front window, a couple booths and some tables with chairs. The soda machine is nice but they don't have all the flavors available. The only thing I would complain about it that in the corner of the dining area it smelled like piss. Also the whole time I was eating, the employees were yelling out orders rudely because a cook couldn't hear them and they were so loud with personal convos. I'm totally on this "reviewing fast food" kick right now, lol! I LOVE JITB and I particularly LOVE this JITB. The food is standard to any other JITB but what's great about this JITB is that customer service rocks and as much food I get, they have never messed up on my order. I always go through the drive-through because I come here late at night for my fast/bad food cravings and the restaurant itself isn't opened. The drive-through is always quick. The night shift lady who usually takes my order is always sweet and always asks if I need ranch or extra hot sauce (I don't ever get that at Burger King!!) I try to check my bag before driving off but because I'm a fatty, my bag is super loaded it makes double checking rather difficult. When I get home I find everything I ordered neatly placed in the bag with lots of ranch, hot sauces and ketchup. I find myself smiling and thinking to myself, I love that JITB on Freeport. And then I find myself wanting to go back because I love their tacos, curly fries and eggrolls! That along with great customer service, how can you NOT want to go back!? read more

This review is for the Manager Koi (sp). On Thursday, I Really wanted a sourdough burger so I thought I'd go to Jack in the Box. When I arrived, I placed my order only for the cashier to tell me that they were all out of sourdough bread (huh?!), so I left. The next day (I really wanted this burger...) I called before I drove all the way back over there and asked if they had restocked their bread. Well, the manager said they were never out of bread, ever...Once I arrived I spoke with Koi who apologized and offered me a complimentary meal for my troubles. I could tell she was sincerely sorry, even though it wasn't her fault and wanted to make things right. More than anything, I appreciate good customer service. Thank you Koi. read more

To be truthful the food is pretty good but the service is SO BAD. Half the time the staff is cussing at each other or fighting but I really don't care. Its cheep and It's still one of my favorite quick stops home from work. Sadly, after tonight I won't go there again. My grandmother ordered 2 tacos, chicken nugget 5 piece, and two chicken sandwiches.
