This past Sunday we started our drive home from Vegas with the plan to stop at the Jack in the Box in St. George for lunch. This girl originally from California misses having one close. It was me, my friend Khrystie and our daughters. The traffic coming back from Vegas was horrible with the freeway going down to 1 lane of traffic in two places. What normally would have taken about an hour and a half took about 4. We were starving by the time we got to the Jack in the Box. After realizing the inside of the restaurant was still closed we got into the drive thru. The line was very long and moving slowly. But the idea of having to wait wasnt deterring me from those amazing tacos. We finally made it to the menu board where we could order. By the time we made it to the window to pay and get our food we had been in line about 35-40 minutes. I paid and we were handed out 4 out of the 5 drinks. Another 5 minutes passed while we were still waiting for food at the window and then I was able to get the attention of someone. I let them know we only got 4 of our drinks and were missing a sprite for one of the kids. The guy looked confused so I asked for a copy of my receipt to make sure the order had gone in correctly. I noticed after looking at the receipt that the popcorn chicken meal had not been rang in. When I mentioned I needed one the guy got a concerned look on his face and the manager who was there filling drinks turned and interjected that they were out of popcorn chicken. I said that I didn't know that and he said that he had told me. Now, I assure you, that as a mother, had someone told me that they were out of a food that I had ordered for my child I would have ordered something else for them. At this point, instead of arguing a mute point, I asked if I could please order the chicken tender meal. I was then told by the manager that I was not allowed to order at the window because the line was too long and if I wanted it I had to go get back in line and go through it again. Are you serious, is what I was thinking. I said I was going to have a child that didn't have any food while the others got to eat. I was told he didn't care and that I needed to go get back in line. At this point I was like, I don't think so, and asked for a refund. We were still waiting for the food, I wasn't going to wait another 40 minutes in line, we would just go somewhere else. I handed the manager my card for him to refund it. When he was done he threw my credit card through my window and demanded back the drinks. I reached for the first drink from the drink console to hand back to him. I was so upset. I was shaking. The bottom of the drink cup hit the slider on the window and tipped over. The cup was still sitting on the ledge as the soda spilled out. Where normally I would have felt bad about causing a mess I thought to myself, well he wanted them back. I went to hand him the second one and he grabbed it from me and then proceeded to throw it at my face. A large diet coke exploded all over me, the steering wheel, entire dash, down the door, middle console, both front seats, my friend in the passenger seat, drenched her very expensive purse and sent ice flying onto the girls in the back. My cheek was stinging. I was in shock and my friend was already calling the police. The manager proceeded to call me a f***ing b**** and yell, you deserve that you stupid b****. The girls in the back were so upset. My friend informed him she was calling the police and he said to go right ahead, that he had video footage. Great! I am so glad you do. We pulled into a parking spot on the side while waiting for the police to arrive. The police arrived and we told them what happened. They went and got the managers side of the story. We filled out our witness statements. The officers talked to the girls who were upset. They were amazing and gave them stickers and calmed them down. I was told it would be considered a he said/she said incident until they could go over the security footage which the officers were told would be handed over to them this afternoon. I ordered on the app at 5:54 and the email said the order would be ready at 5:58.  I arrive at about 6:00.  Because the drive thru line was excessively long, I parked to go into the building to pick up my order.  The doors were locked from the inside stating they were short staffed, and were serving drive thru only.   Later as I looked into the building, I saw that they were not short staffed.  There were at least 5 workers there that I saw (more on that later).  When I finally got to the drive thru speaker, I asked if I could back up and have someone bring out my order because I ordered on the app to avoid the wait.  The male worker said that I couldn't back up because someone was behind me.  I tried to speak quickly before he turned off the speaker to ask if he could have the person ahead of me wait for their food in one of the two drive thru waiting areas.  The worker did not respond.  I waited about 15 minutes in the drive thru line before getting to the window.  Although very angry, I did not yell or swear the worker upon arriving at the window.  I did try to tell him that when others are waiting for incomplete orders, they should use the drive thru waiting spots for the people ahead.  I couldn't finish speaking because he literally closed the window while I was talking.  I asked for the managers name and number, and specifically a number that would get me in touch with a manager because the line at the specific location was not answering and the mailbox was not functional for me to leave a message. The worker wrote down a name and then one phone number twice.  He balled up the paper, and held it out to me.  He said aggressively, "Do you want it now?"  I asked him to please undo it and give it to me.  He threw it from the window into my car.  I called the number not realizing it was the same number as the jack in the box location number I had already been calling.  I repeatedly asked for information on how to contact the manager.  They told me they could not give it to me.  When I asked when the manager would be in they said not at all today.  When I asked when the manager would be in specifically what were his or her hours (again but with greater explanation) a female worker appeared and said that the manager was in Las Vegas and wouldn't be there for two months.  The workers kept closing the window without giving me information. They repeatedly kept walking away and closing the window to avoid talking to me.  Though they blamed me for their current back up in the drive thru line, it was honestly their fault for not giving me any sort of information a manager or someone to speak to about my experience.  They told me that the cops were coming.  I replied that was fine with me because I'd be happy to leave as soon as they gave me the contact information or name and hours of the manager.  At this point a customer from behind (a door dash driver) walked up to see if he could help out.  He told me I could report the location number by looking on my receipt, and showed me the location number and told me there would be a contact online.  I felt better about at least being able to contact someone about this.  While he was still there I asked the for the names of the workers, so I would know who to report about.  None were wearing name tags.  The male worker replied with two quick names and said "suck my d***." The door dash driver asked him to not speak to me that way and reminded him that I was the customer and he shouldn't act that way to me.  The dasher asked me to pull forward to let him out.  I told him I wish that I could, but they refuse to give me information, have the doors locked, and the phone number doesn't work, and I was really sorry, but I had to wait for them to give me at the very least their names to report. The door dash driver went back to his car, sad that I still was there.  I told him and the workers to please at least give me the names of the workers.  This is what the male worker said (again I am not sure if it is true), but did give me five names. To be honest, had the guy apologized about the wait and just listened in the first place instead of ignoring me on the speaker AND shutting the window in my face while I was talking, nothing else would have been said.  Instead he made it worse by throwing things into my car and swearing at me.  I have never had an experience like this in my life, and hope to never again.  I honestly think these employees should be reprimanded for their behavior.  If I behaved that way at my job, I would no longer have a job. We have come to this Jack in the Box many times and never had this type of experience, and I am disappointed that this is the type of behavior is allowed in a Jack in the Box establishment.  I also have pictures of the workers, my email about my order and my receipt from the bag. read more

This is the cleanest fast food restaurant I have ever been in. The employees are super friendly and nice. The girl working the counter this morning was so nice. She is for sure in the right business in customer service. She was changing out the coke cartridges in the machine and my six year old son was very interested in what she was doing and she explained all the steps and was patient with him. The cleanliness of this facility was beyond anything I've seen in a fast food restaurant. I don't eat jack in the box often but next time we drive through I just might stop here and eat!! read more

Don't stop at this Jack in the Box. The order was wrong and then not given to us. My husband didn't get the receipt so the Manager Jorge didn't comply. He was very rude. The food is what it is... fast food. I personally enjoy the popcorn chicken and my wife thinks their chocolate shakes are good. I do however need to express the lack of service of the rude gentleman taking orders in the drive through (Jorge). Scolded us for taking too long to order for a family of 5 little ones after waiting for 20 minutes in the drive through... to only wait for another 2-3 minutes after completing our order. Her acted similarly to the car behind us. When we pulled up we said "we didn't appreciate the way you talked to us in the drive through" to which he said that is what everyone says. And then was condescending and dismissive. Left out our fries, and a sandwich as he was telling us he was busy and we had to move...as the previous order came back with missing stuff. I just got breakfast. Silver dollar pancakes for the kids which they all love. I had a sausage croissant sandwich. The croissant was a lot better than burger kings. We just visited the Jack in the box in St. George drive thru #126 and had a horrible exchange with Jorge Chavez (or something similar). Jorge was extremely rude and and pushy. I was checking my order for accuracy and I thought I was missing fries but I was not and the entire time Jose was rushing me and kept dismissing me by saying goodbye several times cutting me off mid sentence and I wasn't even talking to him I was talking to the other person who was helping me with my order. Meh. It's Jack in the Box. What do u expect? Their sourdough burger could have been pretty good. I made the mistake of adding ketchup to it. It's in a generic pack that just says JitB. I asked what kind it was, they didn't know. I read the ingredients. No garlic powder so I thought I was safe. Usually when there is no garlic powder, it's Heinz. THIS WASN'T HEINZ!!!!!!!!! It ruined the entire meal. Made the sandwich inedible and I only ate a couple fries because I couldn't use the sorry excuse for ketchup. If it's not Heinz, it should be labeled so.
