    We ate it all!!!

Stopped in after a full day of adventures! For starters - fresh chips, salsa & guac ~ yum! I ordered the sweet potato tamales w/ black beans ~ delicious! Family order combo platters. Variety of beverages options. Desserts ~ chocolate lava cake w/ peppermint ice and crème brûlée w/ brownie surprise ~ my favorite! Ambiance unique. Service ~ excellent - thank Alex!

Had dinner here and enjoyed our experience! The watermelon margarita pitcher was very good-- I'd skip the a Salted rum next time though. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and on the ball. The food was very good too. A mix of enchiladas and tacos for us. A great place to eat in Springdale

We stopped at Bit & Spur during our trip to Springdale and unfortunately it was a miss for us. The restaurant has an older bar-style ambiance, which may appeal to some, but the food did not live up to the reviews we had seen. We started with the chips, salsa, and queso. One thing to note is that the chips and salsa are ordered separately, and the queso is an added extra charge on top of that. For our meals, we ordered the special swordfish taco and the carne asada tacos. Both proteins lacked flavor and were heavily covered with pineapple salsa, which overpowered everything else. The tacos themselves were very bland and desperately needed salt. Once we added salt, they became much more enjoyable. The same went for the rice and beans -- both were pretty flavorless until seasoned. The highlight of our experience was Jimenez (Hopefully I'm spelling his name correctly) who did a great job handling a very busy bar section. Service was attentive despite how packed it was, and we appreciated that. Overall, the food just did not meet expectations, especially for the price point. Sadly, Bit & Spur would be a hard pass for us if we return to Springdale.

    Spicy Stuffed Jalapeños

Just finished hiking Zion and needed a spot to replenish my appetite. I wasn't starving but was absolutely ready to eat. Saw this Tex-Mex place nearby and thought sure why not. Nothing too crazy, but they have multiple solid entree. I ordered the stuffed jalapeños as appetizers to start and I don't know why but I expected to be breaded. Let's just say I did not read the description. Still good, but phew it was seriously spicy, so come prepared. The jalapeños came out so quick even the person serving us was surprised, no complaints there. It came so quick I didn't even get beer yet. For the main I went with the 3 for $23: chicken enchiladas, al pastor tacos, and the wagyu tacos. None of them disappointed. The standout was the crunch the veggies had in the tacos, it really elevated the whole bite. Going in, I wasn't expecting San Diego-style tacos, and that's the right mindset to have. These are Tex-Mex tacos done well on their own terms. Ambiance was really chill when we got there we beat the crowd and it had a relaxed, laid-back vibe. By the time we left the parking lot was completely packed, looked like there wasn't a single spot available. Glad we got there when we did.

We enjoyed a dinner and drinks during our visit to the area. Solid food and amazing, friendly service. We opted to sit at the bar which was so the right choice. We enjoyed the vibe. Food was outstanding. Drinks were delish!

Really tiny parking lot, so you are better walking there or taking a shuttle near. We got the last space even at 5:30 pm. Popular restaurant. We got a table outside. The white sangria sounded good but didn't have much flavor. The swordfish tacos - tasted fresh with pineapple salsa in corn tortillas came with black beans, and rice. My husband got 2 enchiladas, beans, salad - filling. The Chocolate Bundt cake with molten chocolate and hot fudge and peppermint ice cream wasn't the best tasting one we have had - no rich chocolate flavor. Michaela, our server, was nice.

Cute place in Springdale. The weather was nice so we sat on the patio. The food was okay, oddly our favorite was the pasta and not the traditional Mexican fare.

Visited the restaurant as my boyfriend and I stayed in Springdale for the weekend! Bit & Spur has such a nice vibe, decor and lights. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently. I really loved the blueberry lemonade, it was so tart and not too sweet. My boyfriend got the prickly pear special margarita and also liked it! Chips and salsa plus guacamole was very good and hit the spot. Chips reminded us of Chili's! My boyfriend got three different tacos (1 al pastor, 1 wagyu beef, and 1 tequila chicken) and I got two of the vegan tacos. We both agreed the rice and beans were very good. The only thing that's missing is that my boyfriend didn't go crazy over his two tacos - wagyu beef & the chicken tequila weren't his favorite. The wagyu beef was a bit greasy, and the chicken was a little dry. BUT - he did enjoy the al pastor tacos! He said he would've preferred three of the al pastor tacos, but obviously it's our first time so he wanted to try them all. My tacos were good but spicy! I think including a note about slight spice would be good because the heat built and I'm not sure what was spicy about them. But I loved the corn tortillas. Overall this place was good. I'd come back!

Great food, beautiful artwork, slow service and overpriced. This is one of the nicer restaurants in Springdale, but $140 for two is too much! We did order chips-and-salsa, two beers, chicken salad, and two Ono fish taco plates. I do like the amount of indoor seating and they had a beautiful outdoor seating area that wraps around the back side of the restaurant with a grassy area and fire pit as well.

    Sweet potato and mushroom tamales

Not outstanding, but better than average Mexican. I loved that they had one creative dish with sweet potato and mushroom tamales. Looks like they used to have a vegan cream sauce, but sadly I didn't see it on the menu this time. Margarita tasted weak, but actually packed a punch.

Bit and Spur -- stopped here for a quick dinner on our last night in Springdale and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Food: We started with chips and salsa that had a surprisingly spicy kick, followed by the roasted poblano mac and cheese, which had a fantastic blend of flavors and richness. My wife ordered the wagyu beef tacos and really enjoyed them. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. ‍ Service: Our waitress, Shilo, was awesome. Super kind, efficient, and clearly juggling a lot of tasks with a smile. Aesthetic: The restaurant has a warm Tex-Mex charm with cozy indoor seating and great outdoor tables, perfect for taking in the Springdale evening atmosphere.

Saw some of the photos on the Yelp and Instagram, and honestly was not impressed... but wow. The food was fantastic. Very flavorful, proteins were moist and tender, salsas and sides were fresh. The service was great. Side note - Try the hot sauce! VERY flavorful with a little kick. I typically only like hot sauces that have flavor and aren't just spicy. Drinks are dumb cheap. In all, would definitely return and would definitely recommend!

We were staying at Flanigans for the night to visit Zion and didn't want to drive so we walked 1 mi each way (kinda far but thats ok). Wanted to get food and cocktails to end the night of hiking. They had a fresh watermelon margarita special that night so I got it. Hubby got meatloaf, I got the shrimp pasta with capers, my son got the tacos and we got taco salad to share. Servings are good for sharing, guess we were starving. To end the meal, we got the brownie creme brulee. So yummy. At least the walk back helped coz we ate too much! Nice Tex Mex restaurant

    Delicious drink!

After seeing all of the amazing reviews on Yelp, I just had to stop by! I stopped by around 7 in the evening and sat outside, which ended up being such a good choice. The outdoor seating had a really fun, relaxed feel to it, and it was nice to just sit down, eat, and enjoy the Springdale atmosphere! We were at the Zion National Park all day. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak on sourdough with just the steak and cheese, and it was so yummy! The meat was juicy and tender. The sandwich itself was satisfying. The sourdough was a great addition too. I don't typically have sourdough bread with my philly cheesesteak. I also had the chips with guacamole and salsa, and those were so delicious! The guacamole and salsa tasted fresh and homemade! I ended up eating all of the guacamole with the chips! It was so yummy. The salsa was slightly spicy. I also tried a bite of the garlic cheeseburger, and the patty was juicy and flavorful. I only had a bite, but it was enough to know that would be a good choice too! Service was great, and everything about the meal felt easy and enjoyable. After a full day at Zion, this was such a fun dinner spot and definitely one of those places I'd recommend if you're staying in Springdale or visiting the park. The fried pickles were also fantastic, especially with the great ranch dip. However, the Mission Salad was just ok. Instead, I had to go up to the counter, wait for someone, and then let them know about the order issue. Even after it was remade, there was simply too much lettuce, and for the price, it really isn't worth it. Service-wise, I was frustrated by having to tip before even being served. Additionally, the staff never checked on us during our meal to see if everything was good or to refill our water. I'm torn between a 3-star and a 4-star review because service means everything, especially in this day and age where everything is outrageously expensive.
