To start, our tacos were cold when they were served, and the tortillas were chewy and difficult to eat. We also ordered the churro fries, which unfortunately suffered from the same issue--they were chewy and several pieces were completely unchewable. I ordered three tacos with a side of chips and queso--definitely too much food. The chips and queso were just okay. The queso was forgettable and not very hot. I did not expect the tacos to be as big as they were. I ordered two of the coconut shrimp tacos (a seasonal offering) and one buffalo chicken taco, aka The Bird. The coconut shrimp tacos were very good. The Bird was just okay as well. It was not very hot either. Though I enjoyed the majority of my tacos, everything felt very thrown together. We attempted to come here during our annual cross-country trip on Saturday, 7/4/26, as this is one of our favorite restaurants in the country. They were closed on a Saturday (?!?!!). We came back on Sunday, 7/12/26, and this was our first stop for the week to have a great meal. MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT. We ordered the Gringo taco, Smoking Pastor taco, Mack Daddy taco, Smoked Elote, Chips and Salsa, and a fountain drink. We were told that they were OUT OF CORN. A taco place had no corn. This affected all of our menu choices. We never wanted to order chips and salsa, as we can order those anywhere. We came here specificslly for the Elote - which is 1 of their staples. They recommended the elote with tater tots in place of the corn. It tasted weird and did not taste anything like the usual elote with the corn. The fountain drinks did not have carbonation. The Sprite was totally flat. The Minute Maid lemonade had no lemon and tasted like water. The tacos were fine, but anything without corn tasted off. Staff was notified about the fountain drinks. They admitted they had no lemonade. They claimed the sprite had just been replaced. That's not possible; it was still flat after several attempts. Tater tots as a replacement for corn just makes no sense at all. Compared with our visits over previous years, this was a huge disappointment and raises serious concerns about the company between product availability and a lack of desire for staff and management to do anything. It should be noted that we did communicate all of these things to the staff, and they did not offer anything to us for the substandard situation. read more

I'll start off by saying that the tacos have a nice aesthetic to them. However, the flavor and quality missed the mark. We tried the Bang Bang, the Gringo, the Surf and Turf and a Taco meal. The Surf and Turf - it looked nice, but the tri tip was cold and flavorless. The Bang Bang - again, it looked nice, but the flavors just weren't there. The guac and the pico carried the taco. Shrimp need more flavor. The Gringo - the best of what we tried, but the brisket burnt ends weren't really burnt ends. They had a nice smoked flavor but could have used a touch more salt and pepper and overall better bark. The Taco meal - quite honestly, look at it. You be the judge. Additionally, walking in to an empty restaurant and not being greeted for the first 5 minutes is pretty unacceptable to me. Love the concept! I'm always down for a good fusion, and I could eat tacos 24/7. I also really appreciate that they use gluten-free tortillas. But unfortunately, that's where the love fest ends. We came in starving after a long, amazing day at Zion and were so excited to try this place. We ordered nearly everything: the Banh Fire, the Memphis, the Fleeing Californian, the Hot Chick, and the Bang Bang. Sadly, every single taco came out cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. The Memphis was the standout flavor-wise, followed by the Fleeing Californian. But the overwhelming amount of pico on every taco kind of masked the individual flavors, and did I mention they were cold? Even the Hot Chick, which is fried chicken, was cold, and cold fried chicken - just no. We also tried the chips and guac and the elote. My boyfriend liked the elote the most out of everything, and I thought the chips were the best part of the whole meal...which kind of says it all. The bathrooms were a mess. The unisex bathroom had a toilet seat that wouldn't go down without a full-body push. Honestly, this could have been a 3-star spot if the food was at least served hot. Such a fun new spot in St George! Coming from Vegas it's always fun to find new local spots to support. We ordered; The Gringo 5/5 the crispy onions + sweet pickled jalapeños were so yummy! The Fleeing CA was our second favorite and soo good. The roasted corn and guac Adding this to our "must visit" when we come back! The Mac Daddy sauce was fantastic but we'd probably pass on our next visit and try something new. These tacos, were HUGE, so be mindful of that when ordering. Inside, the concept/decor was nice, however, the overflowing trash cans/trash on the floors/dirty bathrooms/sticky tables didn't leave the best impression. 3 reasons there's guys get an EASY 5 stars. 1. Tacos are great. Generous with the meat. Nothing cheap about these guys. No measuring like the competitors. 2. Most the tacos are UNDER $5. Most are 4.50. So a meal with 2 tacos and a drink is totally reasonable unlike Sanchos Tacos. 3. The tip jar is on the counter. Old school. Like it should be. No pressure to tip (I always tip). The worst "tacos" ever! Yuck!That pretty much sums up the taste. Sweet (why?)and flavorless. It looks like a taco and the presentation was like a taco. However, the sweet sauces and flavorless contents were absolutely disgusting. LOTS of flavorless fried onion, yuck! And the sweet jalapeño, yuck! And whatever was on the gringo brisket meat, double yuck! Sweet sweet sweet!! Nothing about these tacos tastes like a taco. We ordered 4 ate 1 and tossed the rest. Not edible. Not sure why there was so much sweet on everything and NO seasonings or flavor whatsoever. Total disappointment and there was nothing "smoked" about it.
