I remember going to Jack in the Box as a kid with my family. We finished the fries before we got home and there very few left for mom. Jumbo Jack is still my favorite and with two tacos! I got a combo with fries and a medium coke. Yes I know it's late and I shouldn't be eating this so late but this is the only Jacks in Utah. It's been too long. Dang! I forgot to order one of the great shakes they make. Oh, almost forgot. I got the jalapeño poppers! Hot, spicy, churchy and a velvety chew all in one bite.I only get the small with 3 peppers. Anymore that 3 and it feels like an entree. The Jumbo Jack has fresh cuts of lettuce, tomato, raw onions and pickles. I'm not sure what the special sauce is but it's as great as I remember it being. The cashier was super nice and didn't give me any issue when I asked for ranch and when he delivered the ranch I then asked for ketchup. He gave me a handful and smiles. I went through the drive through so not sure about the vibe inside. Thankfully it's 12 miles from my home so I won't be coming to the best quality fast food in the state. I do not need access to this ever You must try the real ice cream ream shakes! Very creamy and delicious The spicy chicken is good too. The regular fries are just okay. They have curly fries and I always opts for the regular. They will "accidentally " put a curly fry in with the the regular and the curly Fritz was better. Lots of good flavor.

Well, Salt Lake finally got a Jack In The Box! My husband and I went in July after most of the hype (no thanks to 2 mile long lines) died down, but even then there was still a 30 minute wait to get our food after waiting 10 minutes in line to order. The staff was nice and helpful with my questions and substitutions/additions to food. The food was good for a fast food restaurant, as expected. I like that they had a sourdough option for the bun. We also tried their tacos which I enjoyed. The restaurant itself felt spacious and well lit. It was relatively clean for as busy as they are. I hope they continue to keep up with the cleanliness. And I'm sure the lines have calmed down by now. I'm sure I'll visit again in the future.

The hype around this place is slowly dying down. When it first opened there was lines in the drive through and lines to just even get in. It was shiny and new, people wanted that fast food fix. I finally got to try jack in the box after seeing that suit wearing snowman commercials all my life. But, I understood why the hype died down really quick. Just want to emphasize that I'm coming in with a mind set of this place being a fast food chain restaurant. I will be comparing this place with other fast food chain restaurant. Let's start off with their curly fries. The curly fries isn't really anything special. It's a less seasoned version of the curly fries you'd get at Arby's. The burger meat was dry. The burgers were actually dry in general. Highly recommend adding their ranch sauce to it. (Ps the secret ranch sauce is just a super rich ranch dressing). Their famous taco, I kind of regret getting this. This would be delicious not sober...but I was too sober for this. This place is newly opened but it doesn't look that way. The floors was a mess. The bathrooms already terrible. There was a couple of flies mating by menu. Jack in the box is the perfect late night munchies/drunk food run cause they have everything. That's all folks!

We went here around 4 on a Saturday . It was pretty busy but we got served quick . We decided to go inside since the drive thru was super busy . They have lots of choices on their menu . The inside dining area was clean & the workers were friendly . I ordered the sourdough Jack . This is a hamburger with bacon, tomato , Swiss cheese & toasted sourdough bread . Delicious! I got the onion rings these were so good & crispy . They have full size onion pieces . We also gott the bacon Swiss buttery Jack. This was a good burger . We ordered fries . They were good but could have been fresher . They have Coke products . We ordered a chocolate shake because they looked amazing but were disappointed when ours was lacking most of the whip cream & no cherry on top like everyone else had . But it was still very good . We will be back ! We are excited to have a location close to us.

Is it worth the long drive thru line that runs along State St, probably not. The burgers and fries are just average honestly. Those who know don't get those, it's all about the tacos and tiny tacos. You're welcome. Rant-One reason for the long lines inside is people placing multiple orders and paying individually. Ever hear of venmo? Pay once and venmo the kind soul that placed your order. JITB needs to activate mobile ordering to alleviate this and those who are undecided on the menu.

I've been going to jack n box for over 40 years. Late night breakfast lunch. I been going to the jack n box off of hunt hwy in Santan Valley,AZ FOR OVER 3 years. The service I received was the worst service in all my 58 years of living. She was rude disrespectful. I told her five times that I wanted onion rings and sour dough bread. My friend order an ultimate burger and got a single cold burger. The soda taste like dirty water. I refuse to drink it because I didn't see her get. When I asked her for the fifth time that I wanted onion rings she said it's a up charge I told her ok I always get onion rings. I told the guy that was preparing the food that I wanted onion rings and sour dough bread and she told him that it's a up charge , I repeated myself telling him also I'm OK paying the extra for the Up charge. I always get the onion rings with my order. Still no onion rings no sourdough bread. Just read service cold food and I want my money back, we also asked for honey mustard, and she refused to give it to me. She had me standing there waiting for five minutes finally I'm like I'm out of here. The young lady needs to get terminated. She has no customer service skills. She does not listen very well. She's so busy trying to tell me I have to pay up charge and she still didn't give me what I wanted. Very rude disrespectful. soda machine was nasty because the soda taste like dirty water. we order an ultimate burger and we got a single burger with seven french fries. i've eaten out many times at this jack n box normally I receive good service

It's fast food. But it's Jack in the Box! In Salt Lake City! If you're a fan of Jack's, you'll love it. If you're expecting a gourmet experience, you may be disappointed. Let's be honest. Our number one favorite at Jack in the Box is always going to be the tacos. Not the mini ones or the big ones, but the classic ones. Fried, saucy, minimal meat, lettuce and cheese. Add more taco sauce. Perfection. Breakfast burritos are good. Kids like the fries. Jalapeño poppers are tasty. There's a lot on their menu we haven't tried, because: tacos. They've been open a while now so the line wasn't bad and service was great. Welcome to SLC, Jack in the Box!

Drove 41 minutes to this place. It's busy but it's new so I'm not gonna complain. The buttery goodness of the burger and the special fry curls really tickle my brain. Just like back home but not as ghetto and it's brand new!

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean. First of all, Muertos Cantina is a total vibe! The inside is so cool with fluorescent lighting, colorful decor and bottles displayed beautifully behind the bar. Even the bathrooms are worth mentioning! Each one is decorated differently with tons of bright colors. Seriously, each bathroom is like its own little fiesta sanctuary. Now for the FOOD! They start you off with fresh tortilla chips and a trio of salsas, and the chips were AMAZING (especially the flour chips). Each salsa had its own completely different flavor. The Red Chile Arbol had some heat, the Chipitle Lime Crema was smooth & creamu, and then there was the milder Tomatillo Verde, which was my favorite. Soooo good! We also tried the Agua Frescas. They were refreshing, flavorful and really pretty to look at. The watermelon was probably our least favorite, but to me anything watermelon flavored can sometimes taste a little watered down. The pineapple was definitely the winner because it was way more flavorful and satisfying. Then came the Elote Corn Dip. YUMMY! It had fire roasted corn, cheese, spices, crema, pico de gallo, cilantro and Tajín. It had so much flavor and texture. Definitely one I would order again. My daughter chose the Birria Ramen, and I think this might have been her favorite part of the meal. It had slow cooked beef birria, consommé, melty cheese and ramen noodles with cilantro and red onions, plus lime and radishes on the side. It had a little spice to it and was absolutely packed with flavor. She loved it! My husband ordered one of their burritos with a side of tater tots. The kid in him was VERY happy that tater tots were an option. And FYI the burritos here are HUGE. I ordered the Smothered Spicy Chile Verde Burrito, and OMG. It had braised pork in chile verde sauce with rice and refried black beans, wrapped in a flour tortilla and then smothered with MORE chile verde, melted cheese and chipotle lime crema. It was MASSIVE and SO GOOD! I honestly have yet to find anything in Reno that compares to this one. I would order it again in a heartbeat. And whatever you do, SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! We got the churro beignets, and they were fantastic. Covered in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with caramel and condensed milk... seriously, what more do you need? They were the perfect way to finish the meal. Muertos Cantina ended up being such a great first stop on our Utah trip. Fun atmosphere, really good food, huge portions and so many different flavors. Again the atmosphere set the entire vibe for our meal. Yelp came through for me again!

The food is still very good here and some of my previous gripes are no longer an issue. I can now order tacos and burritos à la carte again. While there is still no way to go pick whatever salsa I want and the options are still more limited than before, at least they bring out 3 of my favorites with the chips now. The drinks are still just okay , a shadow of their former selves and I will never be able to accept the loss of my beloved watermelon margarita, the way they used to make it, but I will concede the drinks are decent. Service was fine. Parking is a hassle but that's just Sugarhouse. ‍ So yeah, I guess I'm back to "willing to eat here once in a while", from "I'm never eating here again". They even have a nice taco Tuesday deal which I may hit up in the near future.

As I said for the review for their Tacos Lopez #1, it is the best al pastor I've ever eaten. I've eaten a lot, coming from Tucson. As a matter of fact, I didn't know if I ever would find Mexican food that would be in the same echelon as Tucson's Mexican restaurants. Tacos Lopez #1 was the first place I tried. Whoa! It was great. Same thing here. Same food, same everything. Same efficient and friendly service. The best part is that there is a lot more room here which makes it more comfortable. That's the only difference. So no worries, if you are looking for absolutely great food, this is the place. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
