DO NOT ORDER THE SHAKES!!!!! I just went to get an Oreo shake and the shake contained little pieces of plastic, smaller than the size of a fly. I like to chew the Oreo and that's how I found them. Plus the pic shows the lid which was damaged when the girl made the shake. I noticed that the girl who l was making the shake seemed mad and was obviously upset. I watched her slam the shake on the counter when she finished making it and then she went to the back. They top it with whip cream so I didn't see it at first. If a child was drinking one they might not have noticed and prolly wud have swallowed the pieces of plastic. I know this is fast food, but a little courtesy would be nice. Smile, say hello, don't act irritated because we are not sure what we want. We don't have jack in the box in our state and so we weren't sure what we wanted. So, because they were irritated: We ordered 2 tacos. That's it. Bad choice? yep! GROSS? yep! Where's the damn meat!? There was, no joke, a tablespoon of beef filling in each taco. They were fried in bad old oil and tasted like old oil. Speaking of old oil, there's a coating of it on any surface that does not get wiped down regularly. it's everywhere in the dining area. Ok seriously - these folks aren't even trying. I went thru after a long shift on my way home last night. The girl who answered the drive thru was apathetic at best, but hey, it was 9pm. I get it. My order is handed to me without a word and I immediately noticed a weird burnt smell. I shrugged it off. Maybe someone did a burnout on Potranco. Cool. I bite into my tacos and discover that they are the source of the burnt smell. Turn on the overhead light to check them out - not burnt. Take another bite. Definitely burnt. My guess is that something died in the deep fryer and the burnt whatever was actually in the oil. Totally inedible. Take an emergency swig of my Diet Coke to find that there's LITERALLY no syrup in it. It's just soda water. I thought about going back but was pretty sure that it would be a waste of time. 9pm with a staff that doesn't care - only for me to complain about a $5 fast food meal that I should have known better than to order - nah. I mean... it's a fast food restaurant of course you're not here for perfect food quality. But they seriously need to update their delivery service. Their only options are "large" for many items and then they don't give you an option to add condiments. So only one large side option for onion rings, no condiment options. I just wanted a small milkshake... nope only large options for $7. When I then received my order (mini tacos) that were actually supposed to come with condiments, they were missing. Just a mix of being shady to gouge people for money on their delivery service and lazy employees. It's a shame because I really liked Jack in the Box when I lived in CA. Apple Pay may or may not work, they never get your order right half the times, especially if it's for over night. I've seen employees not use gloves when making food and the soda machine may or may not work as well. Also the bathrooms are rank as heck as well. Had a good experience the first two times eating here (one delivery and one drive through) but I just placed an order tonight and I was missing THREE out of the seven stuffed jalapeños that I ordered (4 piece isn't even an option so how did I get only 4) and I requested one classic jack wrap to be sauce free but all three came with. I placed this order for delivery and was willing to cough up the extra 10$ for the convenience but am really aggravated by the fact that I have to drive back because nobody is picking up the phone at the restaurant. The amount of health violations and hazards I witnessed tonight was beyond unacceptable. Food and drinks going in and out of the drive through window, employees touching exterior benches with gloves on just to return to the kitchen. Friday night at 1:30am, I waited in line for over 30 minutes while employees talked outside with their friends. After patiently waiting, I hear one of the employees walk up the to the car behind me and say "this lines gon take long as f***, just come inside and we'll help you" ... mind you there were only a couple cars in front of me and I'd been waiting. This place is the worst. First of all, they're in a terrible spot where it's hard to get without getting hit. Every time I come here, they take FOREVER to get my order. They make the drive through in a way to where once you're in line, you can't drive out of it. I placed my order for 12 tacos, no special requests and no one in front of me. Wow wow wow. I'm pissed. I passed up Burger King and Sonic for this. Man. It's not like it was packed and I'm very disappointed with this. We ordered a butter bacon and Swiss combo, a regular burger combo, and a spicy chicken and 2 tacos. The regular the cheese was like ewww that's the only way I can explain it. And it's sad because it was just meat and cheese for my 6 yr old. My teenager didn't complain about the spicy chicken. But my butter bacon and swiss looks Malnourished. It was the smallest driest butter bacon Swiss I ever had. I was so disappointed. Oh and then I got bacon cheddar wedges....dry and crispy. I had to throw them away.
