Stop in for a light dinner before I headed out. Something good to hold me over so I got my favorite food here which is the tacos. And they were perfect. I wouldn't call them 100% authentic but I do think they're 100% tasty especially when they're loaded up with extra sauce. Have lots of fun memories of these tacos from Jack-in-the-Box when I was in my 20s I go to my friend's place in San Francisco on the weekend and before we went out winetasting on Saturday we go fill on Jack-in-the-Box tacos good times and the tacos are still good. So the service was friendly and fast and the place was clean. Most of the people are in line in a car waiting to come in. This jack in the box is literally the worst one I have ever visited. They are slow and I mean like there shouldn't be a drive through because not once have I ever gotten food in a timely manner, they get orders wrong all the time, they don't apologize for wrong orders for major delays. I was there yesterday. I ordered a large fry to share with my husband. They charged me the large price and served me a medium fry in a large fry container. I'm beginning to notice most fast food restaurants are doing this especially in the drive through. Keep in mind I'm the only one in drive thru. Took about 5 mins for someone to take our payment while numerous people with headsets on walk around ignoring the drive thru window. That was fine. This is by far, the worst jack in the box I've ever been to. I'm really not one of those people and I can't believe I'm writing a review about a fast food restaurant but I just don't understand... I work from home, over nights and this jack in the box is the only place open closest to my home.. sometime I just want something quick.. the last two nights I've been there have been irritating as ykw.. why did I have to go into the chevron to ask if a 24 hour location is open because NOBODY was responding in the drive thru... the cashier then told me I have to yell into the mic to get their attention... We have been here more than 5 minutes sitting behind the car ahead of us at the window waiting for them to get their order. It is now 4:18 and we have pulled up to the window. I usually never complain when going through a fast food drive way. It's hard working in food service especially for a huge chain. I just have a huge bone to pick with the way I was spoken to in my experience. The person taking my order sounded annoyed that I was there, when I needed to repeat something I got a "What?!" Ok - let's start by saying just because I am giving this five stars does NOT mean I think this fast food place should be reviewed and in the Michelin Guide. This is a fast food restaurant not Haute cuisine. Now to the review. Unlike the last Jack In The Box I ate at the staff were on top of their jobs. They did their jobs fast and accurately. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. It was prepared correctly. There was a very nice crispy crust and the chicken was cooked thru but still had a touch of softness - not hard dried out over cooked chicken. The crispy batter had a bit of heat ( spicy heat) and of course not really hot in the spice level. I would have liked it to be more spicy but 99%of the population would not like the level of heat I would have it at. The other spices in the batter were not as complex as say KFC but it was decent. The sandwich bread was fresh and the tomato was ripe if not super favorable, it did not have a raw.flavor. Overall I enjoyed the sandwich and it was much better prepared than a spicy chicken sandwich I had at The Cheese. Cake Factory , which cost me three.times the price of the one I had here. Generally speaking, I have found the chicken sandwiches at Jack in the Box are much tastier than the burgers. So it was a nice and good fast food meal - so today , it got five stars from me. read more

Jack In the Box Tip; Has Free wifi Located in the Park West Place shopping center in Stockton, CA This Jack in the Box has a Chevron Gas station built with it. There is also a drive thru you too. The parking can get crazy here some times . People needed gas and fast food etc etc. I'll just park on the side to avoid all the madness. They do have a restroom and it's shared with Chevron. There is an open walk way to go from JITB to Chevron. That's cool if you want to grab some chips to your meal. Maybe even some peanuts. Inside has always been pretty clean, but based off of my own personal dinning visits. I'll come to this JITB when I'm shopping in this center. I've been here with friends and family in the past. It's one of my to go places when I'm paying my bills in Park West Place. I'll use the excuse to feed my belly and walk it off, while I'm paying my bills. Every time I come in to eat, I'm always greeted and talked to by the staff. My orders never got messed up. I even went to the drive thru once and my order was correct. So that was a major plus. It doesn't matter what I order, I'll try whatever. But I do like the Fish Burger JITB has to offer, it was pretty bomb. The Tacos so so bomb dot com. I don't know why but I do love them. Fast forward to my most recent visit. I already tried the $2.99 Breakfast platter at another location. I was feeling it, So I wanted this bad boy again. The beast comes with eggs, hash browns, mini pancakes and your choice of bacon or sausage . The platter is pretty big and you do get a good amount of food for the price. The meal was on hit G..
