Parking/ drive-thru: plenty of spaces available and drive-thru moves fast, just be patient in case there are more people than usual. Cleanness: even though there is always a good amount of people coming in and going out, the location is pretty good at keeping the restaurant clean. Food: delicious as expected and modifications are also supported by staff. Warm and tastes good quality as always. Ambiance: it is loud and people are mostly always having a good time. I don't rate fast food spots, but I had to go out of my way this time. On our way to a wedding, we stopped for a bite at a random In-N-Out in Stockton. The interior and building were normal, nothing of note. However, the burgers were the best I've ever seen and eaten. They were picture perfect. The buns glistened, the lettuce and tomatoes were centered and properly proportioned, and the patties were cooked juicy (well, as juicy as an In-N-Out patty can be) with a slight pink center. I'm always impressed with the organization of the drive thru line but this time it was way too long to find a place to get in line. I decided to go into the store to order for pick up and was waited on right away. I did have a little wait until my order was ready, but I was very impressed by the organization of the staff. First of all, they had enough staff, which is not always the case nowadays. Everyone was very busy and appeared to know exactly what they were doing. A classic burger place here in Stockton. This location was the OG before the new locations opened up. Everybody seems to love this place. I definitely like coming to in n out every other week or month. It's definitely a great burger place, although their menu is very small and lacks a few things but other than that it's good. My favorite order is a double double animal style add whole grilled onion, and add chilies and the fries I like them well done with onions on top! The services is pretty quick and easy and the staff is usually friendly and professional which is great. It can be very busy at times especially in the evenings so plan accordingly and be patient! The burger was a great balance of flavor and texture! It had two juicy beef patties and one slice of cheese that was cooked to perfection. The crisp, fresh lettuce and raw onions add a nice crunch. 9/27/21 Quality/Quantity - Very consistent quality and quantity. In N Out always hooks us up with the fries! I normally get the double double, but not when I travel, so today I just got the cheeseburger and fries. Atmosphere - Always consistent. Always clean. Always above average (except wait times). Service - They are very friendly. I really like the consideration of customers with mats and trays to eat in the car. They work hard "trying" to get customers out fast, I like the system of employees that stands in the drive thru line taking orders and I am positive that it doubles their production speed. I cannot even imagine how long the waits were prior to this system. If it was not for the excessive wait times, I would frequent In N Out more often. Price - I feel their prices are low considering the quality of products we receive. Owner Suggestion - I know you make things to order, but the long waits are discouraging to me. I just wanted to pop in here and leave a big thumbs up for the staff of this In-N-Out. When big conferences come to a place like Stockton, a lot of restaurants buckle under the load, especially late at night. Before we came here, we stopped at another restaurant that was supposed to be open until midnight, and the hostess promptly turned our group away; so we ended up at In-N-Out instead. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and with a smile. At the time we ordered they were out of drink cups, and were offering water cups for soft drinks for free. Just as I was about to not have to pay for drinks, a guy excitedly announced he found more cups. I happily paid for my drinks, but the timing of my misfortune struck me as hilarious. The young lady helping me was very patient with my laughter, and I appreciate that. We ordered burgers and fries and everything came out super fast. How was the food? It's California and In-N-Out. Of course it was good. All those Whataburger zealots out there are just bitter because our burgers are actually good. My friends and I enjoyed our food very much, although... just a minor oddity. Without ordering well done fries, my animal style fries were a little more extra crunchy than I like. The solution to this is always more special sauce, so the night was not hindered. For it being so late at night it was pretty packed in there. Of course, conferences will do that. Even with all the bodies in there, we were able to secure two tables and go about laughing and having a good time until 1:30am. Received everything but the animal style fries. Got home and realized the fries were missing. Luckily, I was able to find their customer service number who were more than happy to assist. My problem is the last 2 times we went there, my hunny went in and ordered our food and both times, they lost our ticket order. The first time could have been an oversight but the second time made me realize these workers that are being paid a very good salary need to be more mindful of what of their jobs.
