Slowest flipping fast food place ever. They give the Burger King in town a run for the title. 19 count them 19 minutes for fast food. Ordered three combos two with curly fries got regular. On top of that we had a jr chicken and jr cheeseburger both almost smashed flat by whoever wrapped them. I have a feeling the kid that used to smash the burgers at McDonald's down the street got fired for smashing and now works at JIB. Honest Review for Jack in the Box in Troy, Illinois: Both restrooms were dirty with no hand soap in one of the restrooms. Trash cans were overflowing in the restroom and in the lobby. It took awhile to get our food because I think the manager was training someone. (Not her fault because she was hustling.) When we received our food, the fries were ice cold. The sandwich was a little warm, but my chicken was fresh and hot. The lobby itself was dirty with sticky floors and dirty tables. We had to clean off a table ourselves. Another customer commented that the young man working the register and picking up food should be washing his hands or at least wearing gloves because money is germy. This place, was far and away the experience and quality we were waiting for. They were fully staffed with a friendly, fun, engaging staff full of people that seemed to actually care. They were chatting with customers, laughing, engaging and all of our food came out perfect. I go around and look through the window etc in my car and still no one. I go back around to the drive thru order screen to see another person waiting. Worst experience I've had. Period. From the moment we tried to place our order where we literally couldnt get even a glimpse of eye contact. Even aftering calling out for help. After we got the order rung in on our own accord, couldnt get a cashier to take our money. When we finally got one, they then manually entered the order we had on a receipt after we wasted our time doing it the first time! Almost all the drink selections were unavailable, kitchen looked disgusting, bathroom had piss all over the floor and was disgusting. #45/2022 This is a franchise Jack in the box located at Troy Illinois 18 miles north of St Louis. It's right next to the Pilot truck stop it's open 24 hours again. However do the staffing issues they have the dining room closed around 9-10 at night the drive-thru stays open all night till the morning. I came in there was a little crowded but I was waited on quite promptly which was nice. I've not been to a Jack In The box in some years forgot all the stuff they have on their menu this one has a 24-hour breakfast available at all times if you want they also have tacos the taco bar does go down in the back so tacos sometimes for cleaning aren't prepared at night time all the time right away same with grilled chicken when the fryer goes down for cleaning. But I ordered up an old fashioned number seven bacon double cheeseburger. Which came with cheddar cheese and swiss cheese ketchup mustard and bacon and light mayonnaise. Onions which I don't care for lettuce tomato you can ask for that comes on the side if you want these burgers don't really come with them as a rule. I ordered some curly fries and they had the freestyle machine so I had diet ginger ale Seagram's. It was good I thought it would be bigger as far as the burger goes it was a little smaller than what I thought for a double but I guess through The years things have kind of downsized. The curly fries could have been better they were a little older I didn't know how long they've been sitting in the basket for but they were okay but not super hot and fresh. I used the can before I left it was pretty clean no problem there and didn't want to stay long as I was tired and wanted to go out to the truck chill for a couple hours and go to bed. So therefore I'm giving the three stars not more not less it was a pretty much average across the board experience here at this one and I'll just leave it at that read more

I visited this Jack in the Box on a road trip moving to a new city. I didn't expect much quality from a fast food restaurant off the highway, but Jack in the Box really performed poorly. It seems like this location is run exclusively by teenage boys. Service was unpleasant and the cashier was super rude. The employees were goofing off with one another and spending more time on their cellphones than on getting people served and on their way. It took close to half an hour to get our food and when it did arrive, the order was wrong. The restrooms and dining room were desperately in need of a cleaning. With cold food, inefficient and surly service, and a stronger Lord of the Flies vibe than I care for, I will give this location a miss the next time I am on a road trip. read more

The lovely lady behind the counter got me to get the curly fries. Definitely good advice. The curly fries are way better than regular. The woman working the front desk was clearly overwhelmed and having a difficult time appropriately communicating with her co-workers. We ordered 2 double bacon sourdough combo's. The meals were very good. The gentleman Zephaniah was very friendly and kind. The manager Kira worked with her team and you can tell that they jelled well together. We did not use the restrooms so we could not attest to the cleanliness of them. When im working at midnight and i need something to eat i call to see if theyre open and they always tell me they are open but will be about an hour wait because theyre so busy, they tell me this while at the same time not having anybody in the drive thru and all the lights off to make people think theyre closed. genuinely one of the worst experiences i've had at a fast food restaurant. me and my friends ordered ahead online on the way to the restaurant, and when we arrived we were pulled forward to a spot and told it would be ready soon. only to find out, this is not the case. we were waiting for 30 minutes before the person in front of us got their food, and we continued to wait. everyone in the drive through continuously drove away after getting their food right away, while we sat in the car and continued to wait. keep in mind, we only had two orders. one being a chicken sandwich meal, the other a burger. after waiting another 30 minutes we went through the drive through to ask when we would get our food. keep in mind we were being civil and kind to them, only to find out that they claim they never received them. they said they would finally begin making them now, and after pulling up to the window, they claimed they had one order, but never received the other. we then showed them the receipt on our phones, and they closed the window in a sigh and eye roll before walking away. after they came back we told them what we had for the other order and it was finally being made. we made sure to tell the individual that the order had fries a drink and ranch, as well as the other order had a drink that we never got. once again got an eye roll. finally our order was given out and even then, food was cold and ranch was not in bag. as a fast food worker myself i understand the stress that it brings, but this experience takes the cake. waiting over an hour for 2 orders is not acceptable. I live literally 4 minutes this location in Troy Il. and I will go out of my way from here on out to go to the Edwardsville location! I have had several terrible experiences at this location, but none worse than the one I just experienced and this is now my second terrible review for this place! My girlfriend had to repeat her order several times to a employee named Cameron while he was waiting on other customers! While I can appreciate the multitask for customers, but one shouldn't do it if they can't because it doesn't allow you to focus on a customer and it ends with, well the service we just had! I called there and asked for the manager to let them know my food was cold and there was a hair in my food and I didn't even get to say all of those few words because the same guy (Cam) that's claims to be a manager says to me are you going to keep harassing me?! I was a little confused and irate at this point! I mean if you have a unhappy customer, as a manager you listen to their concerns and not make them feel like you don't care about your customers or that you're to busy to listen to them! I have been avoiding Jack in the box since all those people got sick and several (I believe it was around six dead) died. They obtained some contaminated beef and they did not bother to throughly cooked. Also this location sucks with too many truck stop adjacent to this place and it is a pain to get in and out of. Well it has been over 20 years since they had killed anyone with their food so I thought that I would brave the place again. Well the fries were greasy and stale and the container was only a fraction of being fulll. The seven dollar burgers are way over priced for what you get and the burger did not taste like it should for $7.00. I am not going back to Jack in the Box again at this loaction, McD's, Burger King, Taco B, Arbys and more are in same area and food is much better, but I rarely go to any because they are fast food. I used to love their sour doe grilled burgers, but I have no interest in going back if they do not change a lot! Jack in the Box rules! We go to Springfield, MO from Chicago a couple times a year to see our in laws. This Jack in the Box off Exit 18 on I-55 marks the point where we stop for gas and for food. It's 24 hours which is nice and the food is outstanding. My wife loves the tacos, I'm a burger guy myself so I go for the double cheeseburger and seasoned fries. Yummy. Coming to this Jack in the Box is a staple part of our Missouri trip. I even brought home burgers home from here a few times, they're that good. I would literally give ZERO stars if i could. Me and my fiancé went through the drive thru Thursday July 15th , around 10 pm. There was a lady working the drive thru and was as rude as ever. We pulled up and there are 2 menus. The lady at the drive through asked us to order and I just said "just a second" and she literally yelled "well if you're not ready and don't know what you want, then you need to back out of the line" I was appalled. We observed the first menu and had an idea but the second menu had additional options that we just wanted to look at. I told her this and she still being hateful telling me i should have been ready. So then I proceeded to order and asked her what all came on a specific sandwich and the lady started getting jazzy reading off the items like it was an inconvenience that she had to do that. I asked for a specific item and she blatantly told me "nope were all out". I've NEVER received service so HORRIBLE than I have here. We asked the people behind us to kindly back up so we could leave.
