I have to brag on Tres Caminos staff. We've been coming here more regularly lately, and every time we do, almost every one of the staff is so sweet to our 14-month-old son. Servers will come by and tousle his hair, say hello, wave to him, they are just genuinely so sweet and kind; it makes our day. And they are busy too! So it means even more that they make the time to treat us like family. The food is some of the best in the area, the place is always busy, and who doesn't love a margarita? It does get loud, but I've never had trouble hearing my meal partner. We will keep coming back! read more

Good was mediocre. Shrimp was RAW. Ceviche is "cooked" with citrus bath but this was raw. The server laughed and took the dish to different people and pointed at our table and laughed. This embarrassing process continued until the manager came over and offered to replace the dish. The fajitas veggies were well past cooked and were slimy. The beer bottles were cool but not cold. Service was terrible! No siding of table or removal of beer bottles or dishes until we left. There were 9 guests in the restaurant and I counted 18 employees. I did not understand why they could not clean our table off. Employees were leaning and talking. It's pretty obvious the profit was not an obligation to this business. Ambience was OK if you want to be in a big restaurant with lots of light and look more like an employee stand around meeting without regard to their customers. Long and short, this is one of the worst dining experiences I've had in years and I will not go back, and I would recommend that somebody think long and hard before they give this organization any dollars. read more

We were in town for a funeral and didn't know where to dine with the whole family- there wasn't much choice so we went to Tres Caminos. Service was good , food was pretty good for a small town- quite impressive for a tiny , rural town. Service was very good as well. Very clean place. Beautiful inside too. After being a patron of this restaurant for over 5 years, both me and my family visit almost weekly, but for the first time ever me and my sister were discriminated against. This night the restaurant wasn't incredibly busy yet we waited nearly 15 minutes and were never greeted, given an update on service, provided water or anything. After sitting there for some time, we continued to chat, another table arrived, sat and just minutes after, they were greeted, offered drinks and were able to put in their order. During this entire time the waiter "Noe" maintained constant moments of eye contact, making me think he was arriving soon, but that never happened. I'm not sure if this was his attempt at trying to antagonize us or what but he kept smirking when looking over and even did so again when we expressed our disappointment in his neglect which appeared racially motivated. I guess he thought it was funny, but that sort of behavior and that level of blatant ignorance and disrespect certainly isn't. read more

We have eaten here a few times. Our good friends love this restaurant. The food is amazing! Never had anything bad. The reason for the 3 stars is the service and drinks. The servers are nice enough but are not attentive. Our drinks were great one time and watered down the next. Very inconsistent. This place is very busy on a Friday night.
