Their seasoned curly fries are also good since you cant really get those at other fast food joints. *sigh* This place makes me sad. Aside from the fact that they apparently no longer have french toast sticks, there are other reasons. I can't fault them for their menu changes, so that's not reflected in my rating. I can, however, hold them responsible for their poor customer service and the language barrier while utilizing the drive thru. When we arrived to place our order, whomever was on the other end kept responding to our questions or order with "whaaaaaaaaat?" which became annoying quickly. Then, because it seemed her English was a little rough, she had trouble deciphering our order correctly. Medium orders became small, large became medium, number twenty five rang up as twelve, and it became a flurry of misunderstandings and constant clarifications. I just wanted some food, not a game of guess my order. Once, yes, our order was FINALLY correct on the screen, we were able to collect our winnings at the window. Oh, but wait, we were missing some things. The lady in the window said bye to us three separate times. She handed us drinks and bags and said goodbye. Wait, we don't have the milk that we had paid for and ordered. We got the milk and she said goodbye. But hold on, we need straws for the two beverages you'd handed us. Oh sure, we get our straws, and she said her final goodbye. If the location wasn't so convenient, I would say my final goodbye. Unfortunately, if I did, it would be a lie. Tried the New Southwest Breakfast Platter with Bacon, sausage, eggs and potatoes hash. Bacon was dry and hard to consume cuz it felt like sandpaper when swallowing it down. Eggs was well made. My wife and I went through the drive thru around 8:00pm and after waiting 20+ minutes with only 2 cars in front of us we were finally able to get our food. This wouldn't have been a problem except when I came home they gave me the wrong order. I ordered the sourdough jack combo meal. I was given a breakfast type burrito with hash brown and egg inside. I was willing to forego and not even bother writing a negative review and just eat whatever since I was starving but I also ordered a mini churros. When my wife and I bit into it, it was hard as a rock. It's so stale you can't even eat it. At this point I'm upset because I paid $5 for something I can't even eat. I was very disappointed with my food I ordered through the drive thru. And I know you're thinking "well duh you went without looking at your stuff and it was all wrong," but that's not it. When I got home with my order I started enjoying my lunch which was a chicken pita sandwich. First few bites were ok until I got to the middle. I was wondering why my lettuce was tough but was I pulled out of my mouth was not lettuce but an end of an onion with all the peel and roots. Why was that not thrown away!? I normally stop by here late night on my way before going home (Kunia). Lately the service has gotten better, even surpassing my expectations. I just really appreciate the polite staff. The workers have great customer service will be coming back for sure to this location! Great night manager she is a keeper. When Kunia Jack In the Box first opened they were great however in recent months the customer service has got worse then ever. They don't smile or greet a person in anyway. Tonight was the worst with the Cashier rolling her eyes and standing with her hands on our hip impatiently. Her name tag said Christine, she appeared so unhappy and no appreciation for having a job. In addition to this the other week the cashier told us it smelt in the facility because they have been letting the homeless bathe in there bathrooms, I walked out because the smell was unbearable. I love comin here but lastnight was the last! I bought a breakfast burrito meal a side order of tacos and a munch meal . My WHOLE burrito was drenched in oil to the point where when i opened my wrapper the oil gushed on my entire work shirt! I had a typical order for my family that includes three kids and two adults. I order off the value menu for my kids. One of my kids wanted a chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink. These items together should total $4.37. The cashier switched it to a kid's meal without asking me because it contained the same food items. When I got the receipt I checked it out and noticed the chicken sandwich kids meal was $5.49. I asked for a refund of the difference, and the cashier gave me back 91 cents. Used to frequent this location for a quick lunch every now and then. Today put an end to that. I received my order in good time, however not only was there my food in the bag, but a decent sized ROACH under a piece of chicken. The roach looked cooked, as it had an oil puddle growing under it. I went back of course to ask for a refund. The management was very unapologetic and even didn't seem surprised that this happened. As if it was an everyday occurrence. Even tried to nitpick about what they wanted to refund since we ordered two meals. Obviously after the roach was found the entire meal was ruined and the whatever was left from the second meal was also returned. I did get a refund, but the service was absolutely ridiculous. I can't even blame that on the language barrier. I know that no restaurant is perfect, but management definitely could have been better.
