Meat lover's cuz u know how much I luuuuuv the meat! BAOW!

For what it is and where it is, it's good. Pizza options suck on Dirty 6th: Hoboken is rude, Death Metal gives me death metal of the butt, and Roppollos is well...Roppollos. I wanted to eat something before catching Django Unchained at the Drafthouse. The crust was light and crispy. I got the meat-lover. It was exactly what I expected: protein, cheese, and grease. Meh, better than Roppollos, better than spending $30 at the Drafthouse, and no regrets the next morning.

It was cheap, the crust was crispy (beer batter crust) and the topping ratio was perfect with good, non greasy toppings!

When I pulled up, the parking lot was packed, and while I was able to get a spot that just opened up, lots of people seemed to be walking up from street spots. There are indoor and outdoor dining options, but given the heat, I opted to get on the brief waitlist for indoor seating and enjoy interior! The hostesses have a fast system and take your phone number, so the line moves pretty quickly. From what I could tell, HSP is a favorite among families, date night goers, college boys, girls night, you name it! I ordered a slice of pizza and garlic knots, admittedly, I wasn't starving. But if I get the chance to come back, I saw other tables get wings, cold subs, and calzones that also looked great! Home Slice Pizza is a neighborhood knockout!

I had a delicious margarita (made with fresh ingredients) and you can definitely taste the difference. The restaurant has a cool vibe. It's dark and cozy. Family friendly but also great for date night. It was pretty busy on a Friday night so come early or make reservations.

Luckily, they offer plenty of other slices, so there's something for just about every preference. I also love that you can mix and match slices to create a colorful, Instagram-worthy spread. It makes the whole experience feel a little more fun. The wine bar inside is another highlight, with a great selection that pairs perfectly with the pizza. I usually end up ordering at least two glasses. There's often a line on Friday and Saturday nights, so be prepared to wait. It helps to have one person grab a seat inside or outside while someone else stays in line.

The seating indoors is limited and ideal for parties of 4 or less. With some patience and lucky timing, you can snag a spot! All Day has a variety of classic (ie Cheese and Pepperoni) and fun (ie Pickle and Cacio e Pepe) pizzas where you can order by the slice or by the pie. Not wanting pizza? Try their incredible Caesar Salad mixed with Lemon Pepper Panko crumbs, Crispy Shallots and their Miso Salad Dressing instead. NOTE: parking is awful! Prayers for added patience, skilled parallel parking & stamina as you climb the hill from your car to the restaurant.

We paid, got the buzzer for the table, and picked where we wanted to sit with no issues as there weren't very many people there because it was after the lunch rush. My husband ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Fat Queen. The Pepperoni Pizza was good. The Pepperonis were small and tasty. The Fat Queen was just as good. It comes with Pepperoni, Soppressata, and Italian Sausage. I really liked the flavor of all of the meat in the marinara sauce plus the pizza crust is light and fluffy. Overall Pieous is a great place to get some good pizza. The service and pizza were good. I suggest going at an off time that isn't the typical lunch or dinner time.

It's one of the few places in Austin that I feel you can find true pizza made from scratch that's being cooked in the oven right in front of you so you can just taste the burnt and crispiness of the crust and it's absolutely delicious. I definitely definitely recommend if you love pizza and want to try some nicer higher-end pizza than just the kind of regular stuff we see a lot the vibe is very chill. It's kind of walk-in like there's picnic tables that you sit down and stuff we used to go all the time when I was little. This was my parents's favorite pizza place so I definitely definitely recommend if you're in the area.

I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.

They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try. As for flavors, you really can't go wrong but the standouts for me were the Potato, Chicken Parm and Lasagna slices. They also serve calzones, New York-style pizza, gelato and wine, so there's truly something for everyone. The pizza is priced by the slice, which makes it easy to mix and match like I did, though you can also order a full pie. I will say this definitely isn't cheap pizza, but you're absolutely paying for quality ingredients and incredible flavor. I ended up taking mine to go, but they do have a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in. With plenty of parking, fast service and mind-blowing flavors what more could you ask for from a pizza spot?
