UPDATE: Jack must have had a cancellation in his schedule and called to let me know he had some time available today. He came directly over once I confirmed. The result was nothing short of perfect. Because Jack was kind enough to answer my questions over the telephone ahead of time, he had a pretty good idea about what to troubleshoot when he arrived. He replaced a malfunctioning fan, looked over some other parts, and just like that our Thanksgiving plans were literally back on the table! And did we get taken hostage on price given that this was a "must-fix-now" emergency? Nope. In fact, the price was shockingly lower than I would have expected, just over $200. Jack is what I would call a traditional (aka "Old-school") business owner. He is a decent person, honest/value driven, communicates superbly and obviously has the skillset required to successfully repair so many types of appliances. This is one of the few 5-star generating businesses that truly hit the mark. Also want to share this. After I called Jack and was told his schedule was booked for a few days, I called another place and had a repairman come out. He quoted us $780.00 after looking at the unit for 45 seconds (literally). I was standing right there shaking my head and asking him to inspect more closely. He said, "Why, it is obvious what the problems are." He then told me the parts are out of stock. Then things went from feeling dirty to sleazy. He said his company had a fridge that could be delivered the same day for only $3,499.00. That's when I realized I really screwed up. Never call a repairman who works for company that also has a showroom of appliances for sale. Jack's number is now safely stored in my contacts! read more

Grade A experience! Jack is the man. If you want something to get done right without cutting corners, Jack is your guy. He will communicate with you and listen to your needs and he'll offer suggestions but if you want it done a specific way he will do it! He does appliance repairs but he's knowledgeable in all areas of home improvement. I had him add a couple of extra outlets indoor and outdoor of my place and he wired everything with clean work across the board. Also installed new recessed lighting :) If you Want to install new outlets, usb outlets, lights, switches, smart door locks etc. he can do it all!
