I've been to Jack's on Pearl in Denver, and the Lone Tree location delivers the same outstanding, friendly service on a much larger scale. The restaurant is elegant and beautifully designed. I started with the Champion Filet Bites, which had cooked wagyu bites served on crispy fried potatoes. Excellent wine menu. We were really excited to try Jack's Steakhouse for my mom's birthday, but unfortunately left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The food was decent overall, and everyone in our group enjoyed their steaks. Our biggest issue was the pace of the service. We were a party of five, and dinner took close to three hours. Our server was incredibly friendly and kind, but service was very slow throughout the meal. We had to ask for water refills and found ourselves waiting quite a while between different parts of the meal. We know they're new and are likely still working through some growing pains, so we're hopeful things will improve with time. The food has potential, but the service experience kept this visit from being as enjoyable as we had hoped. read more

Came in for a family dinner with a group of 10, we were sat in a private section it was an added bonus to the dinner, our server Christian was attentive and friendly. Everyone who got the steaks said they were the best they've had in a while. Sushi rolls were pretty good but not amazing, the sashimi was great however! Drinks were on point! Jack's on Pearl in Lone Tree has a bit of a comeback story. They originally opened earlier this year, had to close after a fire, and are now reopening. After trying it, I understand why people were excited to see it return. What stood out to me is the range on the menu. You can go all in on a classic steakhouse experience, or mix things up with sashimi and dry-aged fish, which you don't see everywhere. I tried the french onion soup, caesar salad, Australian wagyu ribeye, dry-aged Chilean seabass, crispy Asian brussels sprouts, prosciutto poblano mac and cheese, and a sashimi combo. Everything was flavorful, but a few dishes stood out. The wagyu ribeye was rich and definitely something to share. The Chilean seabass was cooked really well and ended up being one of my favorite bites. The sashimi was fresh and offered a nice contrast to the heavier dishes. Overall, it's a well-rounded spot if you're looking for a full dining experience in Lone Tree. read more

We weren't as impressed as we wanted to be. First, everyone is super nice but the service itself was incredibly slow! We should have ordered drinks, apps, and our entrees all at once to speed up the process. The steak bites were out of this world! The wagyu sandwich was also bomb. The blackberry margarita lacked flavor and was pretty weak. We switched to an old fashion and that was also weak. They didn't use maraschino cherries and the ice cube was too big for the glass because the cherry sat on top of the ice cube. The Hawaiian roll was okay. Celebrated a combined bday here with family and it was a fantastic experience! The food was incredible and the service was great. For the entrees the shrimp and lobster linguine was just perfection. Also had the seafood and mushroom risotto which just melts in your mouth. For starters we shared a few sushi rolls, including the rainbow roll, which were pretty good. The drinks were fun combos and impressive, both in presentation and in taste. The thyme traveler was my favorite. I will definitely be back, especially for a date night, special occasion or a celebration. read more

We were so excited when Jack's Reef & Beef opened near us since we already loved Jack's on Pearl. We visited on Mother's Day and really enjoyed the experience. The grilled pecan shrimp with 3 sauces is a must try, each sauce paired perfectly with the smoky flavor from the grill. The wagyu burger with bacon was juicy and fresh, and the wagyu salad was full of flavor with a light dressing and tender meat. They also have a speakeasy style area downstairs with dim lighting, a beautiful bar, and a slightly different food and drink menu that makes the atmosphere feel intimate and fun. We sat at the bar and the service was outstanding! Great spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner with lots of food and drink options. read more

Jack's is positioning itself as a high end steakhouse and the building absolutely delivers on that promise. It's a beautiful space. We came ready to celebrate, multiple bottles of wine, cocktails, the whole thing; we were ready to have a good night! Unfortunately the building was the only thing that actually felt high end about our experience. The nigiri to start was tissue-thin fish on a mountain of rice. Then came the caesar salad, which was so loaded with dill it was actually unhinged. Dill is overpowering and it does not belong in a caesar in that quantity. When I mentioned it to our server, he just stared at me blankly and said he wished he could change that because he agreed... What?! A manager then came over and had basically the same energy... awkward, quiet, offered nothing. At a restaurant billing itself as upscale, that kind of non-response is really not it. We ended up hand-picking dill out of our salads like it was a craft project or a 1,000 piece puzzle. While we were still on our salads, the food runners appeared with our entrees and just stood there staring at us. We said we want to finish our salads before our entrees. Any restaurant should know this protocol. A different manager came by and said they were remaking everything, which we appreciated, as we were worried they would just be placed under the warmers. The steaks came out cooked well but over-salted. The sea bass, asparagus, and fries were good. The ahi tuna tasted more like unagi, fishy and off. And then the birthday moment. Dessert arrived with a "Congratulations" chocolate plaque on it and no candle. There was already a Happy Birthday sign on the table, so they knew that was the occasion. I had to literally request a candle so I could make a wish because the server offered nothing yet again, kind of a humiliating thing to ask for. That detail alone should never happen. Nothing was comped, and that is not why we said anything... But after spending a significant amount of money and having this many things go wrong, a high end steakhouse needs to back that up with high end service recovery. They are newly open, and you would think they would be doing everything in their power to make things right. Instead, we left feeling like none of it mattered. The building is gorgeous. Beautiful new building and the service was pretty good. Super friendly but it was the first day and still working some kinks out but that is to be expected. I'll be back. I do think they should take a look at their drink size and cost. For a high end restaurant, I expect the prices to be higher but expect a solid drink. My girlfriend and I were very excited to try this when it opened near Lone Tree. From beginning to end it was amazing and flawless. The Hawaiian sushi roll rivals any I have had at the best sushi spots. My GF had the sea bass which was perfectly cooked and might be one of the top 5 fish dishes I have ever tasted. We normally come here after church for brunch. We ended up here for dinner and it did not disappoint. Kyra was amazing. Made nothing but perfect recommendations. We started with the Shigoku oysters from the West Coast. They tasted extremely fresh. We also tried the Champion Steak Bites for the first time. WOW! Winner of Denver RARE Steak Competition, I watched my husband eat rare steak for the first time. I was so proud! For entrées, my husband had the Seabass, I had Ibérico Secreto (thinly sliced, medium rare pork with a red wine reduction). I'm normally one to find something I like and stick with it. Here, I feel like if I don't try "all the things" I'm actually going to MISS something. It is so conveniently located to our church, it's hard to drive by and not turn in the parking lot. We had a great experience visiting Jacks for the first time since they reopened. We started out in the speakeasy bar for a drink waiting for our table for about 25 minutes. The ambiance was tasteful and drinks were good. We were then seated upstairs along side their bar which was a little disappointing but we cant complain as we didn't have reservations. Our server Alexander was excellent, informative, kind, and attentive. The food was extremely good. We ordered the Waygu Ribeyes with truffle toppings, mac and cheese, duck fat fries, and mashed potatoes; all toppings and sides are extra. All food tasted excellent but luke warm. For dessert we got the lemon tiramisue cake and ice cream. We ordered drinks of smoked old fashions and classic margaritas; Both very good but I disliked the smoke part as everytime I took a drink it smelled like old nicotine smoke so I ordered without the smoke after the first one. Being seated by the bar was a little loud upstairs BUT the ambiance was beautiful and quality was notable. Service was great but I will say a negative is the repeated presence of rotating managers checking on the tables. It felt a little distrupting in the experience as if they were trying to catch the servers doing something wrong or subpar. We had one manager check on us in the speakeasy bar on the main floor, then upstairs during our dining experience, we had 3 managers check on us; this was a little too much and showed distrust in their staff. Overall our experience was excellent and we will be back but be warned this is upscale dining pricing without the dress code. read more

Avoid the seafood! 4 of us ate there last night. The Tuna Steak entree fish was going bad. It smelled like old fish and tasted like it. We notified the waiter and he got someone to come and take it away. They brought my wife a plate of 4 Tuna sashimi slices as consolation. That too was very fishy smelling and she didn't eat it. We regularly eat sushi when we're out, so we're well versed in it. This was by far the cheapest entree at our table, half of mine, and they would not take if off the bill. This is what surprised us, that even after we told them and they took it away, we asked the waiter and he said the manager said to leave it on the bill. They clearly aren't moving their fish and doing what they can to get rid of it. I had the Filet Mignon with Lobster tail side. Steak was great, but the lobster tail was not cooked all the way through either. This location clearly lack knowledge on seafood. My wife ended up getting sick from the Tuna Steak last night. I would not recommend this location until their management is overhauled. The waiter was fantastic, but their management put them in this position. They should observe how Shanahan's, Del Frisco's, Ocean Prime, Eddie V's, or any other decent restaurant handles the seafood and customer service. In hind sight, I would have paid the $48 to watch the manager eat it. $600 tab, not a problem. Refusing to comp the bad fish you gave us for $48; PROBLEM! read more

I was so excited about the reopening of this restaurant. We sat at the bar ordered a drink, I got a vodka martini kettle one it was 21 dollars( almost the price of a bottle for me to buy they pay less) the glass wasn't cold and their were no ice shards (at white chocolate I can get those things for less). My daughter got a blackberry margarita for 15$ on happy hour and if you removed all the ice you put in it was probably only 2 ounces of liquid. We did look at both dinner and lunch menu. I am not a picky eater but couldn't find anything I would eat. They had a wagu ribeye steak for 88$ it was 12 ounces first way too much meat for one person (except a few) to eat. A lot of things were cooked in duck fat. I did think the wedge sounded good though. We have been to Jack's on Pearl several times, and we love it! Could not recommend it more, but the drive is a bit far for us. Jack's in Lone Tree is the perfect blend of distance and incredible food. We highly recommend this restaurant. The service is ALWAYS stellar, the food can't be beat, and the location is great! My wife and I eat at Jacks in Lone Tree for our 38th Anniversary and was surprised. The food was so so and each time either of us left the table they would fold our napkin. Having someone touching what you wipe your mouth and hands with isn't good and spreads germs. We called the next day to report the issues and was treated not so well. We where told this is how it is done around the world. Having traveled to 21 countries this was a first for us. Holy cow did we have a great brunch at Jacks steakhouse today. Both my wife and I exclaimed after the first bite of everything. From my steak and eggs to her chicken and country gravy They even found a way to make their larger than we prefer fries crispy and perfectly seasoned ( maybe the duck fat they're fried in?). They definitely season their foods more than most restaurants and everything was to our tastes. Even the espresso martini and sake raspberry cocktails were superb and perfectly balanced. Ellie was the happiest, most pleasant server that was a joy to chat with every time she checked on us. And Jacque the manager took us to their in-house whole fish refrigerator, ager and explained all the benefits of having the fish stored in it. Yes , it was pricey, but we've not been astounded by a restaurant in years.
