Trying The Brinkerhoff for the first time. Very nice ambiance. I love the atmosphere of this place.

I visited The Brinkerhoff twice and was impressed both times. The first time was solo. The views are amazing from the dining area! When I visited solo they had the bay windows open. I ordered their steak sandwich with fries along with a sushi roll as an appetizer. The second time was a business meeting where we feasted on various dishes. Food was excellent. I complaints. Service was really good too. Plan to spend money here. It's not inexpensive. You will pay for what you get. I would love to return here. This is a favorite restaurant of mine in Castle Rock.

Place was really good. With a great view outside. Prices are high, but the quality was there. Staff was good; maybe a little too good. Kept asking me how things are. I'm glad they are checking on me, but man--nothing has changed in the last 15 seconds. lol

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and wow the restaurant is so unique! It's absolutely beautiful on the outside and the ambiance is wonderful and perfect for a date night / special celebration. We had a later reservation but the staff were super friendly and attentive. We ordered the pimento cheese dip for an appetizer and definitely recommend getting. It was so good and we asked for more bread because it was just that good. I ordered the lamb chops which were great but expected more lamb for the price we paid. Overall, great place for a special occasion!

I took my wife to The Brinkerhoff for her birthday, and they made the day truly special. The grilled artichoke heart was perfect, with an excellent hickory smoky flavor. We also tried the barrel-aged margarita--again, excellent, and it definitely packs a punch. Ryan was our waiter, and he was fantastic. He provided great details about the food and explained what sets it apart from other places. He also made our margarita and clearly knows how to craft a perfect cocktail.

Such an amazing treat here. The service, quality of food and ambiance is top notch. As soon as you walk in you know you're in for a treat. Unfortunately I don't remember our servers name but I'll take a stab at it. Ian? Either way our server couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant and he succeeded. My friend and i had the charbroiled burger and it was on time. The temperature was perfect, which is not always the case at other restaurants. Nothing better than great food, great service, great view as well. Definitely want to make a return visit.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday and we were seated pretty quickly. The staff was super nice and helpful when we had any questions on the menu! There was a slight mix up when we ordered as our waitress thought we only ordered 2 entrees when we ordered 3 to share between the 2 of us but they were super nice and accommodating. We got the grapefruit juice which was $5 for fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and it was refreshing. The hummingbird roll ($28) came out next and this was a good size! It kinda threw me off that there was a chicken salad vibe in the inside of the roll but honestly it made me want to eat more because there was a citrusy taste that balanced everything out well! I got the wagyu short ribs ($54) and subbed the coleslaw with asparagus and this was so good! The ribs were super tender and fall off the bone while the sauce compliments it really well. I'm glad I subbed the coleslaw for asparagus since I'm not a fan of coleslaw. Everything was perfectly balanced which I was a little worried about since their sister restaurant, Sierra, was pretty salty when we tried them. The last entree we got was the lamb ($58) which I'm not a fan of the gamey flavor but I did try a bite and it was super tender and juicy! I do wish this came with a side rather than just the sauce only but you get 2 big pieces of lamb. I definitely recommend this place and plan on coming back one day if we want to celebrate a special occasion!

What a stunning restaurant! The view is gorgeous and they have a beautiful indoor and outdoor patio area that overlooks the western mountain ridge. Inside may not have the same view but it is expertly decorated and has a full open kitchen to watch the edible masterpieces be created. The staff is top notch, attentive and friendly in every interaction. I visited for a private party luncheon and didn't order from the menu but was able to sample some truly divine eats curated especially for this occasion. Have you had sushi freshly prepared from an actual whole fish? Well that was my highlight item of the meal and it was divine! I also had the most refreshing pomegranate aperol spritz. I don't make it to Castle Rock often but this is a destination restaurant worth coming back to try the actual menu items for.

First of all, the view from the restaurant is breathtaking! As soon as you walk into the courtyard, you're greeted with the view and spacious lounge-like areas to relax while you wait. The staff did not skip a beat welcoming my party at the door and the serving staff were attentive to anything we may have needed. One of the first things we noticed was the elegance of the entire restaurant. The food was of great quality, one guest even exclaiming, "This is one of the best steaks I've ever had!" You can taste the love and effort that went into each dish. I'd recommend this place for celebrating a special occasion, or even if you just want to enjoy a great meal with a great view and ambience. Looking forward to eating here again!

Awesome place. Amazing views, great food, killer drinks. Oh and outstanding service!! (Thank you Barrett!! Welcome back to Colorado!). The crab cakes were INSANE!! Best we have ever had. Great wine selection. The drinks are super cool!! Highly recommend.

Okay this may be my new favorite spot! First of all, it's gorgeous... the vibe, the ambiance, the service! Their food is exceptional! We had the truffle French fries (yum! A staple here) and the coconut tuna roll (our fave) and the crispy rice with tuna (love, just wish it came with a few more pieces... only 4 to an order). We split the burger (pretty standard) with their loaded baked potato. Also absolutely loved the ZD white from Napa Valley! Such a delicious pour!!

The ambiance was great and the staff, super friendly. The sushi rolls were good not great but the steaks were cooked perfectly.

I am typically a strong supporter of this hospitality group and frequently visit their sister property. At the Brinkerhoff the food and beverage quality lived up to that standard. The sushi, salad, and cocktails were excellent. Our server was fantastic. Clearly working hard. Unfortunately, the evening was derailed by a poorly handled dress code policy. I arrived directly from the golf course with a client and was asked to remove my hat. I privately explained the context and requested a one-time exception to avoid disrupting a business dinner. Denied. I complied, only to be seated and immediately notice other patrons wearing hats without issue. Inconsistent policy enforcement ruins the guest experience. It was deeply frustrating and unprofessional, particularly in front of a client. Unfortunate end to what should have been a great meal. I will not be returning or recommending this location to colleagues.

When we arrived, they weren't prepared and quickly pulled a table together but missed a chair and setup. This is simple but speaks to oversight and lack of attentiveness. After borrowing a chair from another table, our group sat down and no later than 30 seconds our server was asking what drinks we wanted to order. It would have been helpful to point out the drink menu or give a recommendation versus demanding to know what we wanted. The interior is noisy and covered in carpet. Over half of our orders came out wrong- wrong protein on the wrong plate with wrong side. And to top it all off, did the kitchen lose their seasoning rack? Nothing was seasoned. The steaks were a poor cut, overcooked, the poor vegetables looked like they were boiled and thrown in a serving bowl, and the baked potatoes were either straight up plain or obviously sitting under a heat lamp because the cheese was dried. I envisioned the kitchen cooking in silo, throwing their portions on a plate with no consideration of the whole meal. It's giving cafeteria food. When we go out, we measure quality by evaluating whether we could cook it as well at home. This failed by a significant margin. I'd love to support local restaurants but at this price point and lack of quality, we'll try elsewhere, anywhere but here.

It was a large order, and both the consistency and flavor were fantastic. There were a few different dishes I was considering, including the halibut, but since this was our first visit, I decided to go with the chicken Marsala, which many on here have raved about. First, it was a big portion with two large chicken breasts. On a future visit, my wife and I could split an appetizer or salad and then one order of the chicken. Next, flavor of everything was wonderful. Unlike a typical Marsala, which can be very heavy and overpowering, this sauce was lighter...in color, consistency, and taste. It was a perfect compliment to the chicken. Asparagus and potatoes were delicious too. My wife got the ravioli with pesto, and she really enjoyed her dish as well. Service was warm, pleasant, there when we needed it, but not overpowering, exactly what you'd hope for and expect from a restaurant of this stature. Very happy we finally got here. We'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

What a unique restaurant... inside a restored 1888 stone church. They kept the original stained glass windows, the choir loft & the confessional booth making this one of the most interesting restaurants. The dining area was cozy - not many tables & chairs. Our table was too small for four adults with bread, apps & dinner plates. However, our server was great, very attentive. Always near to clear plates, friendly & fast service. We started with bread & Italian salsa. The bread was good but the salsa was even better. It was fantastic & full of flavor. Next, for apps we had the Meatballs & Fried Calamari. The meatballs needed more seasoning & the sauce was bland. The calamari was rubbery & chewy. The Lemon Aioli that came with it was tasty. Our entrees were the Chicken Parm & the Crab Stuffed Shrimp with Linguine & Sauce. The portion sizes were big. The chicken was prepared nicely & was tender. The sauce unfortunately was bland. Same with the shrimp dish, it needed more seasoning, I didn't taste the crab & the lemon butter sauce had too much garlic for me. Perhaps our meal was a one off. Their menu is extensive & I will give them another try...the Lobster Ravioli sounds good. Note, on the other side of the restaurant is a pizzeria, called Slice Works, with a dining room & outdoor patio. I will try this as well.
