Very anxious and worried about my car I drove it to the nearest shop, which happens to be Jack the Greek Garage. Justin and Wendy were absolutely so helpful! Being very pregnant and thinking the absolute worst they both helped me feel much calmer. All the mechanics did a great job finding out the issue with my car. Everyone had great customer service. They were very honest and upfront about everything. They are all doing great honest work. Each worker really cared about the work they were doing. If you need ANY auto work. They do it all. Absolutely the best autobody repair value in the state. Jack is quick, and provides estimates on the spot. I was literally shocked the first time he gave me a quote for a rusty side panel on a Dodge ram. He fixed the whole side panel and made it look brand new for a price that I couldn't even believe. He also fixed an oopsie with our bumper and quarter panel on a new Hyundai Venue...in two days from getting an estimate! For half the price another shop would have charged. Car was kept for over a month. It cost me a few hundred dollars then ended up taking it to Toyota they found that the after market parts they put on was not working in my highlander. 1600.00 later my car wS fixed by Toyota. Lesson learned. read more

This man has had our Mustang for over a year. It threw a piston rod. We have him $7,500. He said that he would buy a new or rebuilt engine for it. After months and months, we went down there and found that he had removed the engine without our knowledge. Not only that, he pulled out the transmission, the crank case. The entire front end has been pulled off. The engine itself has been pulled into pieces. It now sits like a ruined corpse. At one point we asked him for the car and our money back, but he said, No! No! I'll take care of you! Do not trust this man. He is a crook! We are facing serious financial problems. We could have sold the the car as is. We could have had it towed to another location. Now we're totally screwed. Thanks, Jack. We're going to contact the Better Business Bureau. Since then, I've heard from others that he's done the exact same thing to them. Don't trust the other reviews on Yelp. They've been posted by friends and family. He's a con man. read more

So I took my Navigator over to Jack The Greek garage almost 3 weeks ago to have My Rack And Pinion replaced. Upon them replacing it, they noticed that I needed actuator. Got the part in two days, took it over to them. Since the rack was taking down they built some make shift pipe from tire to tire and pushed my truck out of the garage to continue servicing other vehicles. No problem I understand. Long story short they scratched and dinged up my damn Rims and had the nerve to get pissed at me and slammed the damn phone in my ear when I told them about it. "We didn't park your truck next to no one" Bad business! Don't ever take your vehicles to Jack the Greek Garage! Damn it's just crazy you can't be nice to people anymore read more

The shop is tucked away on the end of an auto park and not easy to find. I took my problem ridden 2004 Passat wagon there on a few occasions and was always happy with the work they did. Jack took the time to figure out a transmission issue when the dealer wanted to replace it. He is highly experienced with all makes and models, but is a subject matter expert with SAAB.Though the transmission work took some time, it was done correctly and for a fair price. Jack just started working on my cars about a year ago. He has owned a Auto Repair Shop right on West Street acrross from Pep Boys, located in Annapolis for a long time... Great Location! My husband and I thought we were getting a deal and bought a $500 beater from a elderly couple. It needed so much work it was ridiculous. Jack was very kind and went through in great detail about what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. He made sure all the parts had warranties if anything were to go wrong. He also gave us an Inexpensive rate for great service. This is hard to come by in this day and age. Jack was not the first mechanic I took the car too for an estimate, but the fourth. Two others were way more expensive and one was actually less expensive; however, I felt the garage was not very clean and very unorganized. I will not mention the name but I did check them out on yelp and found there were others that thought the same. I did not feel as if it was a trustworthy place for me to get my car fixed! I've learned the hard way "cheaper isn't always better".Unfortunately, once Jack had finished the ca,r my husband crashed a day later. Jack immediately brought the car back to the shop and went back to work on the car. He even brought in his best body man to fix the damages on the exterior of the car. All this was done at a very reasonable cost. I was very happy with the service and how Jack took the time to explain to me about the head gasket and the fan belt being broke, overheating, etc. It was a very reasonable rate and I appreciate all the work that he has done for us in such a timely manner. His team worked hard altogether to get me back in my safe Volkswagen that looks practically brand-new; considering, it is about 10 years old. I would suggest "Jack the Greek" to anyone of my friends, Family, acquaintances or colleagues. I also wanted to mention that Jack never mentioned to me to add any type of review. I myself have come across a problem with filtering reviews; however, I never personally asked anyone to write a review for my business but Yelp did remove mine. I do not believe Jack has even heard of Yelp or maybe he has. However, I felt the need to leave this review since his garage did such a wonderful job on my Volkswagen. These guys had worked on my brakes and the rotors warped after 3 months. I also had a brake light on that they told me was a false positive. They replaced the rotors free of charge, but they warped again 3 months later. Then last week my brakes gave out on me!! Thank god no one was in front of me or I could have died or killed someone else. I did some research and found a recall for the electric/hydro break pump that recently expired. So not only did I almost get killed I now have to spend $2,500 on a new pump that would have been covered by the warranty. read more

Alert: under new ownership. Jack is not the owner any more, and he's not around the garage any more. I never had a bad experience when Jack still owned the garage. I felt he was beyond honest and forthcoming and I trusted his assessment of all my cars. He did a lot of extra things for no charge because I had been coming to him for so long. He used really good mechanics, and I hope they stick around. Time will tell if the new owner runs things as honestly and friendly as Jack always did. read more

07/2015, Replaced A/C compressor, receiver/drier and flush system, AC kit for $1244.18. Had to take it back in 3 times as it was shredding the belt. In 04/2016 AC quit working they said a few caps were missing and fixed it and it was good for the summer. Again 04/2017 took it back "not working" they said I needed the same work, "different owner same mechanics, for the price of $650.00! New owner said I was over charged! New owner also said his mechanic's simply recharged the system to get me through the summer. I was lied to and over charged by double or charged for work not done at all! Do not go there, it's a rip off. Next I'm going to put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. read more

They try to screw over women and when you ask too many questions he gets belligerent and hangs up on you. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and the other mechanics working there were no better. I've known Jack for 27+ years. The quality of work is par. He's seems pleasant enough and friendly to talk to. Half of the people who work there shouldn't and when Jack isn't there nothing happens. The last time my car was in the shop someone wrecked it (scratched up passenger side, trashed rim and blew the tire). Jack replaced my tire with a different sized tire that's bald and dry rotted. When I questioned what happened he denied anything had happened... I used to send a lot of people to him, not any more. He ruined a 27 year relationship.
