The team is super friendly and welcoming, explaining what they are doing and why they are doing it. This is not the cheapest oil change you'll find, but you can always find a coupon online and they top off all your fluids and do a lot of safety tests. I took the car immediately to the Ford Dealership, which found no issues with it and had no problem passing my inspection as is. The car is brand new, with only 3,000 miles on it, most of which were put on at the dealership which replaced the wipers and everything before I drove it off the lots. I heard them tell at least two other people that they also needed new wipers on their inspections which further makes me suspicious that it is just their current parts selling scam. I intended to file a complaint with the state inspection agency so that this type of thing does not keep happening to people. I have been using Jiffy Lube for a long time, and while I was not going to need to come in as frequently as I just got a new electric car, I certainly had been recommending it to all my friends. They have lost a life long advocate and customer from this experience.

The "scheduler" got my phone number wrong, and scheduled me for a basic oil change. What? So I asked to speak to the people at Tire Choice in Dallas, PA. Of course, when I was transferred to Dallas all went well. They have all my vehicle & personal information at hand and gave me a 10:00 am appointment no problem. The service at TC is excellent and for that reason I am giving them a 5 star rating. I love Tire Choice, but why do they have such an idiotic scheduling system in place? What a turn-off that must be to potential new customers!

After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! Attempted to purchase vehicles at the dealership and was lied to and deceived, so I purchased elsewhere. Took my vehicles there for many years without any issues and in the last 5 years, have had nothing but issues with the service department. Every time I went there with my vehicle in the last 5 years, I got it back in worse shape than it was in when it was handed to them. Had to finish repairing the vehicle myself the last two times because of incompetent mechanics and service advisers. The management and ownership at this dealership was impossible to work with and was extremely ignorant to me. In the end, I learned that by complaining about them, you are blacklisted from all of their dealerships because nobody, including management, at their dealerships can handle criticism or fix their internal issues, for which there are MANY. You are better off going to ANY other dealership for all of your buying and servicing needs because the Pompey Automotive Group just cannot get it right!
