Where do I begin? Jackie is the most gracious, patient, skilled, informed and tenacious broker I've ever worked with and I've bought a handful of homes. Jackie was a lifesaver for me and my hubby! Here is the back story: So we had tried to refinance our house a few years ago so we could pay off some debt and the couple lenders that we talked to said we could not refinance because we had a HERO loan (to get our house painted) which essentially placed a lien on our house until we paid it off. We had done a weeks worth of paperwork before we found that out. When we originally agreed to the HERO loan a couple years before, they definitely were not forthcoming with those details. I was so heated!! Moral of the story, never agree to a HERO loan, look it up if you don't know what it is.
