Sunday morning donuts takes me back to my childhood, getting donuts with my Gram. Yesterday, we stopped at Jack's, an Indiana based donut company to grab a few donuts. The donuts are made fresh in house. The single clerk was friendly and energetic. He was happily serving a family that had just come in. The kids were excited to see the cases filled with colorful yeast donuts. I picked a Boston cream filled yeast donut with strawberry frosting. The donut melted in my mouth - pure heaven for $1.95. There is a small counter to eat at in the shop, but most people take their donuts to go. There is plenty of parking in the shared strip mall lot. I'll be back. read more

Donuts were great, but walked in and paid for 2 dozen in a Saturday morning, got home and was missing 6 donuts. Clearly the guy waiting on us can't count. Super disappointed but decided not to make the drive back. Go early if you want a selection, by 10am it was minimal. read more

I went here to pick up 30 dozen donut holes for my graduation party. After paying, the box felt very light, so I checked and noticed the box did not have anywhere close to 360 donuts. After returning into the store and asking if there was another box, the guy running the counter became angry and told me that there were 30 dozen in the box, and refused to give me what I paid for. He then continued to be rude and combative to me, claiming I had smashed the donuts down to make it look like I didn't get enough. I did not receive the rest of the donuts until I took a glove and counted out the donuts in the box, where I counted 112 with only a few left, at which point the man threw a bunch of donut holes into another box and told me to take them and get out of the store and not to come back very rudely. I would highly recommend going to another location or another donut shop. I attached a photo of the first box that supposedly had 360 donut holes. Sunday we placed an order, we waited over 30 minutes and Jacks didn't confirm my order. I reached out to Jacks and Jacks was stating that DoorDash was at fault for not calling them to confirm the order. The male that answered the phone laughed and stated that there were at least 6 other unconfirmed orders. Then DoorDash blamed the restaurant for not confirming my order, canceled my order and had me reattempt to order with the same exact thing happening. Now I'm out $68 until my funds are returned. DO NOT DOOR DASH HERE. i ordered a door dash order on Sunday December 22nd, 2024. The Sunday before Christmas. Had family coming this morning and wanted some fresh tasty donuts for them. I ordered 8 glazed donuts among a few others. I got 8 frosted donuts, 2 cake donuts of terrible flavor and 2 plain tiger tails. Like seriously? Very Rude staff, expensive prices and mediocre donuts. Used to like this place, but seems to have gone way down hill under current 3rd generation ownership? Employees are very rude and unprofessional, poor customer service and experience. I never lead bad reviews on places, but please avoid this Jacks Donuts. Manager Kimmie Warner needs to learn how to talk respectfully to others. My best friend worked there for a few months, but eventually quit due to how he was getting treated. Never have I seen a manager talk so POORLY to her employees. Calling them a liar, saying she is going to "punch you in the face", She treated him like CRAP. The donuts are also made in a factory and transported over to the shop. Every single time we go to this store they have closed early. We're not talking about 10 minutes, we are talking hours. We have seriously tried like 10 times. Woke up super late on a Saturday, so when I headed to Jack's at 11:45am I really didn't expect much of a selection. I walked in and they had basically every donut I could think of (and a high quantity of each)! Since this was my first time there, I got a dozen so I could try them all. They were SO good! The price was about $11 for the dozen, so was super affordable as well. Will definitely be back! If you're not sure what to get, definitely try the chocolate/vanilla cinnamon roll! read more

Let me tell you!!!! This time I gave them 3 stars ONLY and ONLY because my options to buy @10am were very slim !!! So for my first time visiting that sucked . But the man who was working was super nice and super friendly, he didn't mind me saying whats this and whats that, and I appreciate it because I kinda annoyed my self BUT let's get to it. Store was nice and spacious, even tho I had minimal choice I got pretty much a dozen of 3 types of donut holes , a dozen of mix and match PLUS the sale dig treats so I got my dog a pig cookie. Now in my area we have a well known donut shop names Titus So I'm super excited to that this place WAS NOT !!! as expensive as my home town shop. I with tax spent $25 !!!! Wtf for basically 4 dozen and a cookie. That right there should make u wanna go. Now that I've had time to try the OMG !!!!! IM IN LOVE . So, I emailed Jack's Donuts requesting a call back from someone regarding being hung up on during my call about an incorrect order. Here is the email that I received from Nickole Patton: Hello; I received an email to contact you regarding the donuts Cathy packed up this morning? I'm not sure what else we need to discuss as we've read the yelp review and been on twitter. Unless you are 500% specific with exactly what you would like for a wow factor because our iced rolls are larger than most other items we can't nail an order that says iced and glazed variety. A full refund has been issued. If we could read minds I promise we would get it right. My only suggestion is be very specific in saying you want 3 dozen iced rolls/sticks and 1 dozen glaze or no glaze. We make every thing from scratch every single day...people aren't always 100% but as a customer neither are they always kind. I'm not saying you aren't I'm just saying...we are human and life sometimes gets to people and we are going to have moments. I always tell our staff we have the under advantage to a fast food or pizza chain because 1 time something isn't right at our store social media blows up, but the 10th time your drive thru order is wrong, nothing much gets said.... I am happy to hear you were offered to return to get what you wish, and since that wasn't an option, a full refund seems like a nice compromise for something that at that moment in time our employee couldn't fix. The only thing I can hope is the next time we nail your order for it's wow factor you were hoping for. I feel like Jack's being open until 9pm is both a blessing and a curse. On the surface, I love seeing a donut shop open in the evening because I'll crave a donut all hours of the day, not just in the morning. The only problem is that I know Jack's has pretty good donuts ... in the morning. They just don't seem to hold over well in the case through the day. A handful of times, I've popped into this location after dinner at Red Hab next door for a dessert donut, and I'm always disappointed that they aren't fresh and seem dry. Went in to grab a coffee at 12:05. The woman behind the counter was VISIBLY upset to have customers in the store. She was grabbing the donut bag very aggressively, rolling her eyes and was just rude. When asked about coffee, she refused to make us a coffee, stating the store closed in less than an hour and the machine was broken down. The store was open for another 55 minutes. I agreed to just get two donuts. My gift card wasn't working, so again she was very frustrated. We left without getting anything. Very, very disappointed by this experience. First time coming today. Came around 1030 and they were out of many donuts giving them a very limited choice of donuts for sale (unless what was out is their norm). I really just wanted an old fashioned cake donut but they didn't have any. They had apple flavored cake donut so I tried it but it was too sugary/glazed on some parts and then dry on other parts. We love Jack's Donuts. Nothing fancy, no frills. Just damn good donuts at an affordable price. This is our go to donut joint on a Saturday or Sunday morning. The key is getting here early. They do sell out quick! But they are always baking all day so you might have to wait a bit if they are out of your favorites. Some of the donuts they sell are HUGE. You walk in to this "Jack's Donut" shop located off of Carey Road and SR 32 in Westfield. Upon entrance the place was clean and tidy (as I would hope) The donuts were fantastic as well. My reasoning for the one star is just the sheer costumer service. This shop lacks any form of management and/or customer service qualities that would EVER bring me back. There were THREE people working in the store and I was the only person inside at the time. No friendly greeting or smile, just a "what do you want" bluntly to my face. Now I know this isn't supposed to be a 5 star restaurant but for god's sake teach your employees how to interact with paying customers. This establishment is a shame to the good local business in Westfield. Go to Kroger a couple doors down for a better experience. Hell, go to the Donut Shop in Downtown Westfield, they have the best donuts in all of town. Don't let pow-dunk Jack's Donuts rob you of your integrity as a willing, paying customer. I went into Jack's Donuts in Westfield on 5/5/18 around 9:30a. They had a steady line, but moved quickly. I got two chocolate, yeast donuts, an apple juice & a coffee. My total was $9.14!!! I paid without questioning the amount and sat at the counter. As soon as the line slowed down I approached the cashier to let her know I was over charged & that the total before tax was $6.11. It was a struggle for her to process the refund! She called over another cashier who had to call someone from the back because they didn't know how to correct the mistake. In addition I ended up throwing away one donut because it was soaked in oil. It was as if the donut had sat in a puddle of cooking oil before being put into the case. These donuts are the best! I've been twice now, and the workers are polite and cordial. The donuts are soft and delicious. They can sit out for hours straight and still taste as good as new. There are many flavors and sizes to choose from, and they are definitely worth the price. These make Dunkin Donuts look like garbage. read more
