The food and service are fabulous at Ginza Teriyaki. The small upscale restaurant is lovely and comforting. Gentle piano jazz plays in the background. A clerk, perhaps co owner, graciously seats me and brings me a menu. The menu is a mix of Asian favorites. Prices are reasonable. The food comes out freshly prepared after a short wait. I love Asian cuisine because of the fresh vegetables and great flavors. I ordered Sautéed Mixed Vegetable with Shrimp and a little spice from the lunch menu. This comes with 2 crab Rangoons. The plate is beautifully presented and the food is steamy hot (perfect). The vegetables are gently cooked in a garlicky sauce. The shrimp is plump and succulent. The Crab Rangoons are crispy with a creamy filling. The dish is exquisite, well beyond a normal lunch special. They offer carry out, but most people were dining in during my visit. I was looking for dinner and came across this restaurant. I remembered a coupon in the mail. I decided on the $13 steamed chicken with veggies and a side of white rice because of the bokchoy. I asked for no brown sauce and for fortune cookie. I wanted to support and try this 1-yr-old Asian restaurant. The food was like any Asian express restaurant. My entree was kind of typical but convenient; however, it was just too pricy for me to return so 3 stars. They do carry unique entrees so you might want to give them a try. We have been searching a long time for a place that serves good Chinese food and we finally found it at Gina Teriyaki. Their food is fantastic. I ordered the curry chicken with medium spice. It was the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the chicken with vegetables with mild spice and was completely satisfied. We also enjoyed an order of spring rolls and they were out of this world good. I highly recommend you try them. Just FYI...the medium spice is pretty spicy, but good. So, if you're feeling brave you can try the hot spice. Just let me know how it goes and post your results here. We stopped by for a quick lunch, and it was fine. We ordered and paid on the tablet on the way in. It's a little weird tipping and paying before the meal, but it made everything very efficient. It was very clean, there are a few tables and booths. The food was good, but we didn't have anything super cravable. The pad Thai was not super flavorful. The broccoli in the Ginza bowl seemed fresh. Great experience! Ordering is easy as you can do so in person, online, or over the phone! We called in our order and the lady taking our order was super friendly! Our food was ready in about 15min. It has been years, years since I've had such good Chinese food. I ordered Cashew Chicken & Crab Rangoon. Both were delicious. The Cashew Chicken had big pieces of chicken in it and several types of fresh vegetables. It wasn't super salty, which I feel like some Chinese can be. The sauce was absolutely perfect. They were still making our order, which was fine. I was about 5 minutes early but excited it would be fresh. Our order was correct, which I always worry about. I can't stand onions and most of the time I order any kind of Asian carry out, it usually still has onions. Our food came out and he made sure we had everything we could possibly have needed. The only reason I took off one star is because our extra spicy dishes weren't even remotely spicy. I'm not a burn your face person, the spicy chicken at chick-fil-a is almost too much for me and I had absolutely no heat from Amy of our dishes. They were excellent - very fresh ingredients and very generous portions. We have now had many of their other dishes. The Pan Fried Dumplings are one of our favorite appetizers, and we just had the Wonton Soup - very, very good!! The Broccoli Chicken is a great dish, and my wife loves the Chicken with Garlic Sauce. They take online orders, over the phone orders, in person orders, or you can get a table, and no matter what, the food will still be delivered hot and fresh. Jenny was very efficient and answered all of our questions. I usually steer clear of crab Rangoon but theirs was the best I've ever had. The pot stickers were so good with their homemade dipping sauce. And we had the teriyaki bowls. My husband had the beef and shrimp. I had chicken and shrimp.
