Will complain to BBB, the Consumer Affairs Agency, AARP consumer, and for sure take him to the small claims court for $$$$$$$$$$$$

For over eight years, I have taken my many vehicles to Louie's shop…read more I bought a 1972 Chevelle, that was a lemon, and the motor blew. Louie put a brand new one in for 1500, when every other shop wanted 2500 or more. I was working on it once, and I forgot to install the passing gear, and blew the transmission. Louie put a brand new 350 turbo trans in it, for 1800 most shops wanted well over 2 grand. I took my 1993 dodge dynasty to him. The ac was outdated, bad water pump, radiator was bad, and he replaced all of that for well under what any other shop would do. I took my 1993 S-10 to him for many things, and he's done great jobs to it as well. I've taken my 2007 Honda Fit to him, and he's fixed the brakes, ac and even rotated my tires as a courtesy as he noticed they were badly in need of it. The list goes on and on. Louie has come through or me time and time again. There have been times when I could only pay half for the service, and in good faith, he let me pay the following month, and NEVER hounded me for the remainder payment. Pete (the man that runs the shop and does the work when Louie is not there) yeah he can be rude at times, but no one is perfect. Pete has many health issues of his own, and yeah he can be a lot better with his attitude, but most times, he's swamped with answering calls running the shop, and working on vehicles all at the same time. Have you ever worked on a car, and something not go right? Let me know how happy you are when you have to get up from under it while having to run and answer a phone call. Louie for over 42 years has been a mechanic, and has started from the very bottom. He is a very honest man, and has helped COUNTLESS people with their car problems. Does he make money? Yeah, but he doesn't rip you off, and he's honest and up front with you. If you have a serious issue with anything, give him a call on his personal phone, and I'm sure he'll work something out with you. I'm sorry Adrian A. had issues with the shop, but that's life and no one is perfect, but Louie himself comes pretty close.

I took my truck in to diagnose for an ac evaporator failure. There vacuum test pass so then they…read morerefilled my Freon and sent me on my way. I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.
