Took our Lexus GX460 in for oil change and filter replacement. First time dealing with Sean. Price was actually better than what Valvoline Quick Change charges with discount. Sean even replaced a missing bolt that was not tightened properly by Valvoline that apparently vibrated loose. During inspection Sean noted that battery was getting weak and recommended replacement due to its age. Price with installation was very reasonable and done very fast while we were there. Would highly recommend Sean for his thoroughness, expertise and knowledge. He is honest and is not a high pressure type salesman who treats you fairly and honestly. If you're anything like me, you know the bare basics about car maintenance and you are always wary of going to car shops/mechanics so you rely heavily on word of mouth or spend time going to different shops to get estimates and second opinions. This being said, I came here because someone I knew highly recommended this place and I agree. The shop owner is a friendly guy named Sean. He was thorough, hardworking, friendly, honest and his prices are competitive. I was driving an 11 year old Toyota Camry Se when the windows suddenly stopped working. I took my car to the toyota dealership and they told me it would cost approx $3000 to figure out what the problem was. When I came to Sean for a second opinion, he told me that there were a couple of different reasons that could be causing the problem and it could be an easy fix or a more serious one, but the main issue was going to be taking it apart to figure that out. Sean ended up figuring out what was wrong and fixing my car in ONE day and only charged me about $195 (cant remember the exact price off the top of my head at the moment) but it was mindblowingly cheaper than the dealership. When I was picking up the car to test out my windows, he noticed that my windshield wipers were falling apart so he took it upon himself to install brand new wipers for me for free. Finding a good mechanic can be hard but if you have a toyota or honda, give this guy a shot. read more

Recently had a great experience with Sean at Toyonda Auto Repair. Brought my Lexus in for new brake pads and rotors. Sean was very professional and thorough, inspecting my car and giving me options as well as recommendations. At no point was he pushy with upcharges, and gave me a transparent rundown with the costs and benefits of each options. He recommended a transmission fluid change as well, which I did as it was a fair price and affordable, especially compared to the dealership. All the work was completed on time as promised, and there were no surprises in prices or additional work needed - everything was done as agreed upon. Upon arriving to pick up my car, Sean brought me over to the old parts that were removed from my car, and walked me through the wear and tear on those parts to compare to the new parts that were installed on my car. He also showed me the boxes of the new parts that matched the parts installed to confirm what was actually put on my car. All in all, Sean was very professional and honest, and definitely much more affordable than what a dealership would charge.
