The owner of jacks towing parked my car pushed up against a barrel and left a dent and scratches, I went to pick it up because it got impounded and... I found it like that, he left it against fence and barrel, and he knew, just left it like that. Didn't care to fix his parking. I told him about it and he acted like it was already there. he then told me after the cops said it was in poor condition- I was more mad about that. If that were my business I would make it right , shady business owner shitty person. It really bummed me out , I take really good care of my car for him to just treat it like that, and worst of all I only asked for 100 bucks off my 2,400 payment....... I still had to pay him full price ........sooo moral of the story I'm calling him out so he doesn't keep getting away with this. This place is a joke. High prices and the pump card readers don't work. Last two years I have gone up and they don't work. Attendant said the owner knows but won't fix them. Ridiculous. I went up to Jackson Rancheria and they were 25 cents a gallon cheaper. read more

I got locked out of my car and spoke with their dispatcher. She said Eric said he would call right back. Over an hour and 3 additional calls each with a confirmation that the driver was aware and that he said he would call me. The poor dispatcher who apologized profusely was great. We never received a call back from Eric. Eric was not great, he was useless. I cannot recommend this company. I called another local company and they are on their way. Update: 3 hours later I'm home after the other company showed up in 20 mins. Still never got a call back from Jack's. read more

Our Ram truck broke down while our ATT cell service simultaneously crashed. Fortunately police dispatch was able to reach Jack's towing, where it's executive technician, Ed, sprung into action and saved the day. I cannot sing Ed's praises loudly enough. The situation was totally bleak because our AAA service was inoperable, owing to the widespread wifi and cell phone service outages on April 7, 2023. We could not even arrange for a Taxi or Uber to transport us to a rental car location. It was cold and dark. Ed could have just kicked us to the curb, but after towing and securing our truck, he personally drove us to shelter. I highly recommend this business for its high degree of caring and ethics, as well as excellent towing services. read more

I was so happy to have my starter fixed but was quickly disappointed when I saw my dashboard light up. The technician reluctantly came over to look at the problem after I explained the "lighting malfunction" which had never previously occurred. He was unable to help me with the problems which did not exist before and let me drive away without a properly working vehicle. And without oil (???). I checked the oil before my trip and it was fine. I HAD TO DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD AND ADD OIL MYSELF in additional to being unable to close my driver's side door completely due to the "lighting malfunction". Imagine how you would feel after forking over a large sum of money for a car that you think is fixed, only to discover your car has a brand new set of problems. Then, to add insult to injury, you see that that the mechanic or technician is 1) not aware of the problems 2) doesn't listen to what you are saying and 3) he doesn't care and makes you feel like it's your problem! I had to drive away: 1) without my blinkers working 2) my windows were non operable 3) my headlamps and tail lights were not working properly 4) my door wouldn't shut 5) I HAD NO OIL (almost none, Ive never seen it this low EVER) 6) in tears Also, yes they are fresh out of the oil YOU need and no offer or attempt to help you with that. I had ask where I could go but oil at. Thanks a lot! If you guys would have LISTENED to me and if you didn't try to jumpstart the battery which had a full charge, then my FRM module would not have been fried. Because you guys didn't HEAR me when I told you that I had the car diagnosed while I was waiting for the tow truck, you guys continued to try to work on the battery when I told you that was NOT the issue. We all heard the CLICK of the starter. Just because I am a female and just because I'm not a mechanic does NOT mean that I do not know my car. As a BMW driver I know my car very well and felt that you didn't LISTEN to me AT ALL. Will you listen to me now PLEASE????? While I am grateful for the convenient location relative to where I broke down, either you can help me fully with my car or not help me at all. You should not be trying to work on a BMW only partially and WITHOUT LISTENING to its OWNER. At the very least You could have listened to the history of the vehicle and also the explanation As to why you shouldn't try to jump the new fully charged battery Of a German engineered vehicle. There's a very very good reason for that. I know my car VERY well and I feel like because I am a woman the mechanic would not listen to me. As a result of your mistakes which would have been prevented if I had been heard, I drove home feeling very unsafe in my broken vehicle and I am going to have to dump hundreds of dollars more into fixing the vehicle DUE TO YOUR ERROR. Again if you guys would've listened to what I was telling you, you would've easily been able to remove the FRM module which you guys fried when you tried to jump a fully charged battery (more than once?) and send it in to the proper BMW location. I would have accepted the error if you guys didn't send me along with a broken and unsafe car without oil! We would've had the module back within a couple of days and I would not be writing a one star review for people who I entrusted to help me . Instead, I had to drive my car in an unsafe condition and deal with this issue myself. This problem existed because you guys touched the fully charged battery when I asked you not to. I hope you guys can make this right. I thought all of you were very nice people, but the condition with which you left my car was unacceptable. Moments after paying you for my car, I was purchasing oil down the road at a shell station where I was in tears and adding oil to my car myself. I was very upset about the way I was treated when I discovered I had more problems than when you guys showed up. If I owned a business I wouldn't let someone drive away in tears. My truck broke down it needed a new ignition module Jack's put it in... picked my truck up and the mech. Said it needs a tune up. I took it to a shop I know and the ignition module was wired wrong. My truck did not need a tune up, it needed to be done correctly the first time. read more

Top notch! They have a new shop location on Academy Dr in Sutter Creek. My daughters car broke down and she needed a new starter. One of their mechanics, Shaun, came over and picked up her car and brought it back to the shop. A few hours later the car was back to normal. Holy crap that was fast! He knew my daughter needed it for work the next day and he made it happen. He even had to change out the part he had for a different one because of the specs. Talk about paying attention to detail. And when it comes to Heather the boss, nicest person you'll ever meet besides your own mother. She is still in the middle of decorating the shop but from what I see, she has a great vision. Our car broke down literally in front of the Chevron. Ed came out to help us - to see if we wanted to use the phone inside to call AAA and offered to do a diagnostic to see what was wrong. They were completely helpful - of course we ended up having to have it towed back to our hometown due to the repair that was needed and we couldn't stay stranded in Sutter Creek but such awesome customer service!! Beware if you stop here for gas and there is a handwritten sign on the pump that reads "Pump out of order, pay inside". I thought nothing of it and handed my Chevron card to the employee on duty. When my statement arrived, someone had charged several tanks of gas at this station to my card. read more

Came for a simple smog check and was told it would be an hour wait. I waited. Came back and gave my keys over. I was told the test would take about 45 minutes for my vehicle. After waiting that time, I was told that the test failed. No problem - so I have to go to DMV just to get a little time to make repairs or whatever. The problem is - the paperwork didn't say failed, it said aborted test. Meaning the test was just stopped in the eyes of DMV and this test is worthless. I go back to get it reprinted with correct wording. Is this what I got? No. I get told that I am out of luck and was a waste of their time and to take my vehicle somewhere else. All because I needed the paperwork printed with the correct wording. I leave in tears and take my car home. I contact the owner and get the run around. Never again will I waste MY TIME and MY MONEY somewhere where customer service is nothing and customers are a waste of time. read more
