Just had a first hand experience with Trump's America at the Jackson Diner...what follows is my review on their FB page. Regular customers - twice a week usually - never a complaint until today when our waitress, I believe her name was Jackie, complained about the cooks to the couple sitting next to us at the counter and then said "Build That Wall"... We immediately confronted her, as well as the couple next to us who laughed and told me to "F*ck off". Her response was that "It's a joke". I asked the Mexican busboy (who works harder than anyone I've ever seen) if HE thought it was funny... I wonder how Jackie and the rest of the wait staff would feel if the cooks and busboys found themselves in an ICE raid tonight and didn't show up for work tomorrow...would that joke still be so funny... I'm sorry to say that we won't be back. You have lost us as customers. You employ racists, and should truly be ashamed. I will tell EVERYONE I get the chance to tell (including, just now, a perfect stranger at the Jackson outlets) about our experience. I will fight out loud against hate and racism with every breath I take. read more

Really cute. It has a very classic look with red leather and lots of chrome. The menu is pretty varied and the prices are fair. It was packed mid-week, which I guess is a good sign. My husband and I shared an appetizer of cheese and salsa empanadas. They were tasty little fried dumplings. I had the chicken pot pie, which was served in a bread bowl. Very good and full of white meat chicken. My husband had the montechristo sandwhich. It was full of deli meat and made with tender french toast. Also very tasty. The orders took quite a long time to come out, but other than that we had no complaints. We saved room for dessert. I had a rice and bread pudding mix (loved the hint of nutmeg) and my husband had the cheese cake. It was dense and rich. We really like both desserts. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their food. The turnover was pretty quick and no one seemed to wait long for a table. We will definately be back. It may be our new favorite diner. read more

i went to go eat at jackson diner for the first time yesterday morning. the food was absolutely disgusting, but what was more disgusting was the owner of the place. when i got up to pay there was a huge line. the hostess was ringing up some people while the owner was ringing up me. i watched the owner yell at the hostess and call her names. the young girl looked so stressed and taken back. i cannot believe that a business owner would do such a thing. i will never recommend this place to anyone or go back there. 0/10 read more

So sad about Jackson Diner has new owners now. Lots of great options that bring me back to when I was young. I love the retro mural and when I have the grandkids for a weekend I always say look at that painting that's what Gramma Joan had way back when. Try a cheese steak or the daily specials. The place is average we go because we never have to wait for a table but sometimes the food is a hit or miss. Sometimes you will get nice crisp bacon the next it may be crumbling.
