This is a diner in a strip mall. A variety of good choices on the menu -soups of the day, paninis, wraps, salads, hot meals, breakfasts. I had a caprese panini and it was good, made w fresh mozzarella and pita. The service was good, not in a rush though. Go there, enjoy the food, it's good and I have no complaints. It's nothing fancy, not large either. But we were able to sit down quick at noon. read more

Hidden gem in a shopping mall. Casual interior or quick counter service. Friendly staff and very speedy. Ample menu selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Huge portions and very fair prices. Crispy, tasty bacon and good old fashioned scrambled eggs. Deliciously decadent stuffed French toast--could easily share. Loaded with fruit, sweet cream cheese, and whipped cream (you could still capture the cinnamon sugar flavor of the bread through it all). I asked for a manager or owner to call me back yesterday but no one did. I'll remove this when he or she returns my call. Yesterday's order was wrong, twice, because a missing item was replaced with a wrong item. First of all, I don't think this place gets enough credit. Yes, it's tucked away in a strip mall on Asbury Ave so it's not fancy, but it's such a good, local Mom & Pop place for breakfast, lunch OR dinner. Their prices are reasonable, the service is lovely and they're quick when you're on a lunch break. But what I would really like to compliment them on is their catering. I've used them a few times for large catering orders for our architecture firm and they are wonderful to work with! Catering prices are reasonable. 3 foot subs are put together so nicely and they are HUGE. The Italian dishes we've ordered from them in trays were surprisingly tasty! I guess I expected them not to be since it's not an actual Italian restaurant but I was mistaken. I'd order their food before some of the Italian places around here. And their salads are presented so well. The apple walnut spinach salad bowl was GORGEOUS. They are dependable, kind with phone orders (even with last minute changes) and always come through with a timely delivery. Couldn't be happier with Anna's & their staff. read more

A weird cross between a diner and spanish restaurant, was sure what to expect when we walked in. I got the turkey and brie wrap, and the thing was loaded. Normally they cheap out with the amount of brie, but there was plenty, and it was nicely melted. The fries were crazy good, extra crispy, and thin, I was full but could not stop eating them. We weren't even planning on coming here, but the mexican restaurant in the same strip mall was closed, so we ended up here, and I don't regret it at all. read more

ok here's the situation if you want a great breakfast look no further than Anna's restaurant.my friend and I come all the way from the bronx to shop at the Tinton falls outlets a few times a year and usually do not eat locally when we visit.This time we left the bronx early and I looked up good places to eat in tinton falls online. Anna's came up so I said to my friend let's give it a try and boy oh boy i'am glad we did.my friend ordered the Belgian Waffle with sliced bananas,I had the Westin omelet with the best home fries I have had in a very very long time.my friend said the Belgian waffle was one of the best she ever had and the service was excellent as well. if you are ever in the area and want a good breakfast this is your place. Today might not have bern the day for Anna's. Three of us had mediocre to poor meals. First the waitress brought the wrong sandwich and had to order the correct one. The breakfast was horrible. The scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes were dry and overcooked. The couscous salad was dry without any kind of dressing with small chopped pieces of bell pepper. I had side of chicken salad on top which was better but also dry. Overall we were very disappointed especially since there are very good reviews. read more

The food is real good it comes out hot.Went there 3 times .The first time the service was 100% .I lived in wayside for 20 years and a friend referred me there ,the 2nd time it was ok ,but the food came out hot and the service was average,The 3rd time the food came out hot the 3rd tome the food came out hot .The wait staff was very slow ,we sat for 15 minutes before I walked up and asked if someone could take an order.The food was brought out ,had to ask for water. ,then the utensils.The Football game was more important to watch then taking care of the customers and distracted the help .The service was poor .I guess the owner wasn't there .It seems like a hit or miss place now.But the food is hot and was always spot on. read more

Good food - it's diner style, so I think everything is frozen. Don't expect "fresh" food, but again, it's good. Also, if you want delivery, it's one of the only places on the entire internet that you can't order online and pay with a credit card. You have to pay with cash at the door. So stupid. read more

Oh my lord, how does anyone with any semblance of a palette eat here? Hands down the worst breakfast I've ever had in my life. I'd rather have microwaved continental breakfast eggs than this garbage. Hell even prison food has to be better. Ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. The toast was the best part. The eggs were tasteless, mostly brown and basically inedible. You have to really try to get it this bad. The bacon tasted like that fully cooked stuff you buy from the store and then leave in the microwave too long. Completely devoid of any flavor whatsoever. and the hashbrown was that frozen stuff you get from McDonalds or any of the other fast food places. Basically one big microwaved tator tot. And who makes you get up and pour your own coffee, into paper cups no less. Well at least the toast wasn't burnt. read more

Some of the negative reviews here are a joke... This place is fantastic. Their Chicken Angel is amazing. The food is always consistent when we order. Their turkey club is really good! Their pork roll and cheese is a little lacking. I had a panini last time I was there (i dont remember the name but it was chicken, fresh mozzarella, balsamic) and it was so good but WOW was it messy because of how wet the fresh mozz made the sandwich. Ordered food here a few times and received wrong order. The last time was the last time for me. My family orders here often and for some reason they can't remember to put cheese on my order. Cashier gave me a hard time getting my money back an throws the food away as if that is hurting me. Provide better service and when a mistake is made be courteous and fix it don't tell the customer you wasn't charged for cheese. Will never come here again. read more

I really fell in love with Anna's. Their salads are big and worth the price. Not many places you get a salad that has a lot of veggies in it. Their sandwiches are pretty good too however they don't really last if you don't eat the whole thing. Their French fries are crunchy and awesome, my next step is to add cheese! All the women in the front are so nice and helpful. Only issue I've had is that even when i order online, I find that sometimes the order isn't right. For example I got an egg and cheese on a roll with SPK. Somehow they added hot sauce. More than once a coworker called and ordered just egg and bacon on a roll and numerous times cheese was added. Extremely disappointed. Ordered 2 buffalo wraps with fries and a salad on the side. The fries are completely soggy even though I asked for my fries crispy. The lettuce in the wrap was the same as the salad on the side and there were carrots mixed in. No time or effort was spent preparing this meal and a complete waste of $20. I called back because I go here somewhat often and they told me I needed to send picture proof in order to receive a discount next time. The only reason it's a 2 and not a 1 is because the food is pretty good. THE SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS. Three prototypical, disinterested, self-involved high school girls working the counter. Laughing and gossiping about their love lives. No manager or person of any authority in sight. Waited about 2 mins for my breakfast sandwiches, walked down to the Pastry Chef 3 doors down, got pastries, came back and waited another 20 minutes and when I got home, realized my order was wrong. I ate inside once, and got the cous cous salad. It was delicious, but they put walnuts instead of pine nuts. They never brought the pine nuts. I also have gotten takeout here twice. Each time they messed up the order. The first time I ordered the coup cous salad and they put walnuts in instead of pine nuts. Then I went back and they didn't put cous cous in, they put in barley. So I had to go back in again. I thought I would try it one more time so I ordered the chicken noodle soup and apple and walnut salad. The walnuts were supposed to be candied, and they were not (big part of the salad!). Pine nuts are expensive, as well as candied walnuts- and they were both missing. I will not go here again. Just wanted to let the restaurant know that they are not giving the customers what is on their menu! read more
