Great service, great food! Small town feel local cafe with great choices. I had a western omelette with cheese and it was great. The side potatoes were delicious- perfectly cooked and seasoned. My toast was even yummy smothered in butter and gf bread. The French toast was thick bread with a lot of confectioners sugar. Our waitress was attentive and more than helpful. I really enjoyed my coffee and breakfast and can't wait to eat there again.

This is at 7:20am. Hours posted says 7am

Everytime I wanna try this place it's always closed. Definitely doesn't work with their posted hours online or on the door. Too bad, food looks good

YAY!!!! Driving back from AC we were hungry and I wanted breakfast, hubby chose here and it did not disappoint. We were actually seated at the last table available it was close to 1pm, we ordered coffee and I wanted apple juice- so for a large, they charge you for two smalls-*fine by me. I ordered the steak med rare and eggs over med with house potatoes and toast- Hubby had corn beef hash eggs fried hard, and french toast- his meal came with extra potatoes and toast. It took over 30 min to get out food- but it was super busy with some large groups and our server let us know about the delay--and with our coffee cups kept full, we were fine. Our food arrived and my steak was already cut, not sure how I feel about that, lol. My breakfast was tasty and hit the spot, hubby liked his, felt it was a bit short on the corn beef part, but he cleaned his plate lol-- we both agreed, we would be back again- as it is literally walking distance from home, NOT that either of us would ever temp fate- trying to cross RTE 9. 100% delicious long may may they prosper here in Howell

Along the hectic Howell highway, you will find a market-and-deli that completely contrasts itself…read morewith its mellow, toned-down atmosphere. Website: 5/5 It seamlessly interconnects many styles of background and sections within their home page alone. The web page became easy to navigate and led me to various other parts of the site, including the Garden Center, the menus, the backstory, and the Harvest at Howell Road. Brand: 5/5 The backstory behind the Twin Pond Farm Market is that it started about 20 years ago, as an extension of the family-owned farm, to sell home-grown products into entrees and meals. They have expanded their products to include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert meals. The backstory gives the Farm itself a sense of poignancy with its roots with an Italian farmer who immigrated to the United States and his family who would manage it. The logo of Twin Pond Farm maintains that simple design with the right color scheme to make it stand out. As such, it always appears in any food-products made directly by Twin Pond Farm. The exterior has the welcoming sight of a red-painted wooded facade of a farm, introducing you to a stone-cobbled entryway into many varying parts, from the vegetable stands to the hardware store to the deli. When we stepped inside the deli, I appreciated the brown floor and the brown tables, particularly since this specific shade of brown felt very warm and welcoming. Ambiance: 4/5 The noise was expected with such a small area, however it did not become so bothersome that it interfered with an important phone call we had to make. The radio playing classic rock songs definitely fitted the mood of the market with a tolerable volume. While I did appreciate the table containing a random assortment of sweets, I did not think that it fitted any purpose and did take up too much room, especially for a part of the market that already makes so much use for so little space. Service: 5/5 The service attended to any of our needs without any problems. Wait Time: 5/5 The service did inform any customers with a sign stating that they may have to wait longer for their meals. The transparency gives the Wait Time a higher score. In my case, I did not have to wait too long for my order. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Hungry Man Special, which consisted of pork roll, cheese, eggs, hash browns, sausage, and ketchup beneath roll buns, along with orange juice. Every part of the dish was well-prepared without having too much grease. The buns did start to come apart and lacked the form needed to contain the ingredients from spilling onto my plate. The sausage definitely had the most profound flavor, giving this sandwich an overall savory taste. Indeed, all of the ingredients had their own flavor, giving the Hungry Man Special a blast of flavor. Wanting to reinvest in my Howell Township community via the local multiplier effect, I decided that I would also buy some Fig-Red-Raspberry-Orange-Ginger Jam--otherwise known as FROG Jam. Just like the Hungry Man Special, it was also packed with flavor, in which case it had a very sweet flavor with subtle amounts of spiciness. Worth The Money?: 5/5 The business works well with other small businesses, in the sense that farmers come to sell their products. Cultivators of the earth are the most valuable citizens, as Thomas Jefferson himself would say; and they show their value by cultivating from the earth many products for sale in the vegetable stands and in the deli. The innovatively down-to-earth selection of jams definitely helps Twin Pond Farm Market stand out compared to chain stores. I love unique food products like FROG Jam that use wordplay, and always look forward to seeing such items in any local eatery. The working class patrons give Twin Pond Farm Market hope. Indeed, there were union workers present treating the deli as their hang-out spot. If a market-and-deli could cultivate a culture within its space, then it would help create returning customers, which definitely works in its favor. I did note that while they did source fruits and vegetables from local farmers, they did source their meats from Boars Head. If I had any personal suggestions, it would be to also locally source any meats if possible. The market is not well-known for catering, but they do offer apple cider donuts for such occasions, and they do have a catering menu on their website. So perhaps they could offer more individualized catering options for specific events, like Birthdays or Graduations. Rating: 5/5 Stars I deeply regret not coming here more before it closes for the winter season. Recommend To... Anyone trying to buy locally sourced fruits and vegetables within the appropriate seasons, and if you're already going down the busy highway anyway.

The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! I had the Thai chicken sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Other dishes ordered were the chicken salad and strawberry salad which my friends both enjoyed. Our server was very good and didn't rush us as we were just chatting up a storm. The restaurant suggests reservations which are a good idea, especially for dinner. I will definitely be back and can't wait to put Harvest on my restaurant rotation. Sorry no photos this time... the food was just so good and we were hungry!

The entrance stands out in this borough, despite its small size. I do think that sign with the wooden background reflected the cozy interior quite well with a homey style. The country décor on the walls also enhances the aesthetics. Website: 5/5 It wastes no time, for it immediately opens you to the menu where most of the items have their own images. I appreciated the minimalistic design where the understandable font provides you with the information. The basic description of the establishment does say that they rely on locally sourced ingredients. Ambiance: 5/5 Normally, dark interiors would not necessarily work for eateries unless they achieve a cozy vibe; which is what Harvest did perfectly. The wooden walls provide a sense of comfort underneath lights dim enough to not offend the eyes but bright enough to see. Despite the cramped space, I did think that the interior fitted the ambiance, along with the smooth country music playing over the radio. Service: 5/5 The staff was quite jovial and patiently explained a part of the menu. We had no issues with our orders. Wait Time: 5/5 I did wait awhile for the meals, though we managed to get our orders without any interruptions. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Grilled Chicken Thai Sandwich with no additional sides, with a free, complementary glass of water. It has ciabatta beard containing grilled chicken, spinach, cucumbers, and Thai sauce. I do not know if the signature sauce is authentically Thai, but I will say that I could barely tolerate the pungent taste and smell. I cannot say whether it is the feature. Every other part, such as the spinach and the cucumbers, definitely complemented the grilled chicken with a juicy taste. The ciabatta bread buns managed to hold their form, even as the contents started to fall off. Worth The Money?: 2/5 I will say that Harvest brand has as much of a highfalutin status as its prices. While the restaurant reflects the New American cuisine, it does not come off as condescending. Nevertheless, I still thought that the limited menu items just do not help with the prices. For the website, I would suggest a list of all the farms and independent distributors that Harvest relies on for ingredients, and to include a backstory about how Harvest began and where the name came from. I find local-sourcing incredibly important and commend Harvest for incorporating this into their business model. Concerning the food, I will say that the Grilled Chicken Thai sandwich did have suffice within the ambiance. The wait time it took to make the meal was appropriate enough. I will say that the wait time did feel long within the establishment, especially when no one else was around. Nevertheless, the service did make the food worth the wait and the ambiance worth immersing in. With all of this being said, would I say that the overall price would bring me back? Not really. Even the complementary water could not win me over when compared to the prices. Prestigious New American eateries tend to have a focus on specific consumer bases, and I am just not one of them. I do not score low on this part out of spite, rather based on my current station and many other people. I did tip the staff and I did have enough satisfaction with the meal. Rating: 4/5 Stars I do not know how Harvest would carry itself into the future, though I can see how it would suffice as a New American restaurant. Recommend To... Anyone with enough disposable income looking for a quiet restaurant.

Brand: 5/5 Tenth and Willow is an Italian-themed deli located in Colts Neck Plaza in Farmingdale. The logo has the Italian flag emblazoned in the background. The solid aesthetics on the website of the sparkles and shining rays perfectly represent the brand. When it comes to the interior, I will say that they deliver on all they promise, for you will find many Italian food and ingredients throughout the establishment. Website: 5/5 It brings you immediately to an image of a sandwich, which makes a good first impression on anyone coming to the site. Scrolling down, you encounter the backstory and the menu with many selections from beverages to wraps to heroes. You will find at the bottom a regularly updated blog section filled with fun facts of Tenth and Willow. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no delay or disruptions during the time I waited for my order. Ambiance: 4/5 The establishment housed plenty of Manhattan Specials of varying flavors throughout the aisles. You will also find plenty of cookies and treats upon racks, including meats and cheese hidden behind large glass counters. The aisles and the space between them and the deli did feel cramped with no tables or seats available. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Maple Ham Hero, which considers maple ham, fontana cheese, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic glaze. The maple ham had a sweet taste, as expected, which complements well with the sharp fontana cheese and the lettuce. The balsamic glaze had its own strong taste. The bread held well and had a decent amount of crunch, without becoming stale. Everything in the hero stayed in place while it also had a rich, thick taste. Service: 5/5 The staff managed to get my order without any issues. Worth The Money?: 4/5 The selection of meals, such as heroes, definitely reflect the brand of Tenth and Willow as an Italian market-and-deli. While I did not have a problem waiting, it did feel cumbersome in a cramped area for my order. Nevertheless, the ambiance of exploring around the establishment did not have an issue with me, especially as I got to see the delicacies from the cookies to the marzipan. As for the Maple Ham Hero, the appropriate wait time matched the quality of the food. The organization of the food shows that the staff care about their ingredients. They make it clear on their website that most of their partners provided locally sourced ingredients. If that is true, then this establishment deserves more attention, and I can see how Italian restaurants would rely on this deli for their ingredients. While the website does not scroll down with silky speed, it does provide a sense of welcoming ambiance with its deep, green color. I will say ultimately that the price of the Maple Ham Hero and the experience going to Tenth and Willow was worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I have hope that Tenth and Willow will continue to have relevance in Farmingdale, and among those who prioritize Italian cuisine and ingredients. Recommend To... Anyone just starting an Italian restaurant and is looking for key ingredients, since you would be supporting local producers while propping up your local business, thus creating a network of local businesses that help the community through the local multiplier effect. I also recommend to anyone looking to add more to their Italian-inspired cuisine and need suggestions about which meats, cheese, or spices to use. If you like Manhattan Special, then I would also recommend this establishment to you.
