I recently posted a one star review for Jackson's car wash on A Google site. I am amending that somewhat here. It is true that they egregiously upsell. It is also true that they are generally annoying and tried to sell me things I did not need, and Told me things about the car that probably were not true. However after all of that, with me refusing any of the things they were trying to sell, I have to say they did a remarkable job with the wax job on the Lincoln. The car was spotless, and the wax was perfect. The gentleman who actually did the work was very courteous and obviously knew what he was doing. So if you can resist all of the BS that goes on when you deal with these people you probably will get a car wash and wax that was actually worth paying for. But like dealing with the worst of a used car dealership it's difficult to get past all of the crap on the front to get a very good job in the end. If you asked if I would actually take another vehicle there the answer is probably no I would not! But if I could work with that guy that does the detail work I would pay him considerably more to get other cars done. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! They damaged my vehicle. They replayed the video of themselves gouging my wheel and they denied that they did it. I watched the attended do the damage myself. The manager David admitted the car was driven up and then down on wheel track. He handed me a piece of paper and told me to file a complaint online. I did. No response. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

This is my 3rd great experience at Jackson's. The first was in May when I picked up my daughter's car that had been parked while she was studying abroad for a semester. It was pretty dirty inside and out so I got it detailed. It looked so amazing afterward I could have sold her 2009 Mazda on the spot. The upholstered seats looked gorgeous and the car was finally rid of the smoke smell from the prior owner. A week later I called them in a panic because while I was driving through the Tonto Forrest on a very primitive dirt road I think some of the old gas must have got in the fuel line and it was not driving well. They don't do repairs but the guys said to bring it in and they would take a look at it. I brought it in the next morning and they put a bottle of something in the gas tank and replaced my windshield wipers. They also checked my oil and said it was fine. Today was my third time and I filled up, got the oil changed and they washed my car for free (w oil change). The car is really clean, smells great and is running like its new! This place was my go-to for a good wash when my car needs it. I went there today and It was a horrible experience. It took 20 minutes to get through the vacuum line, not because it was busy but because only 2 of the 8 employees actually work. I guess when you get a certain color shirt your job is to stand around while the customer has a bad experience. I literally vacuumed my own car to move things along...while the employees watched. Unbelievable.The manager here should be fired immediately as he or she has no clue on how to operate a car wash. I won't make the mistake of coming back here ever again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to Jacksons to redeem a car detail I had previously purchased when it was still Danny's. I called ahead to try to schedule an appointment and was told it was a first come first serve basis. When I to Jacksons I was up sold a package and was promised if I wasn't happy I would be accommodated and it would take about three hours. I was hesitant and should not have agreed. Two hours after waiting I when to get lunch. I couldn't find my debt card but luckily I had cash. I ate quickly and went back to Jacksons. I told the girl at the cashiers station my situation and it appeared they had not started the additional services and if we could cancel it. She tried to reach the detailers via radio and they did not answer. She went outside and I thought she went to talk to the detailers but she got on her cellphone. 15 minutes later she came back in I again asked if we could cancel the additional service. She stated she would have to get her manager. Her manager tried to place the blame on me for waiting so long and I quote said " I am not trying to be an asshole but we did the service and you need to pay." I again explained the situation and I did my due diligence to stop it as soon as I learned my card was missing. Mind you they were not done with the service. The manager then promised he would personally look over the car to make sure it was done right. Ten minutes later the detailers were done with the additional service. I was called again to the cashier to pay. I asked the cashier did the manager check the car to make sure it was done as he promise and he hadn't. After he inspected the car I had to wait an additional 15 minutes due. I ended up having to write a check and planned to return to pay when I found my card or could get cash. I returned the following week and they lost my check. This is the worse customers service I have ever had. I left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Stay away!!!! read more

When I have to walk around and wipe off inside of Windows and other parts of the car myself that were missed in this "$400" service , you people have lost your minds ... I recently purchased a brand new Chevy Malibu that is only 1 WEEK old. After bringing my vehicle on Saturday for its first wash, I realized a QUARTER size chip in the paint on the rear driver side fender well. After notifying the staff of the damage done to the vehicle, they told me to park to the side and a manager would be right with me. After a few minutes, I was approached by Chris. After showing Chris the damage done to my vehicle, he then started to argue that none of his machines or employees did this damage to my vehicle and that I was a LIAR for claiming that either one of them did! He also began claiming that this was a fact and that if one of the machines did this damage to my vehicle, all the other cars would have the same damage...Really?? During our conversation(or what I was trying to have with Chris), he began walking away from me several times in the middle of me trying to explain what I witnessed. When I had brought my car in, I went to the Cashier and then out up front to wait for my vehicle to be pulled up to dry. I waited almost 10 minutes for my car to be pulled out. Keep in mind this was before 8am and not many vehicles were there. In the meantime, 5 other vehicles which were not there when I had arrived had already gone through the wash and were being prepped to dry. I then proceeded to go back in to see what the hold up was. When I got in, I finally saw my car going through the wash. Not aware of what the hold up was, I proceeded back to the waiting area for my car to finish. After seeing the damage, I approached Chris to find a solution. I have been a long time customer of Danny's and now Jacksons Car Wash. I've never had a problem for over the past decade until Saturday. A company can differentiate themselves from others by not how they interact with customers on a daily basis, but how they handle a situation when a problem arises. What occurred on Saturday was a complete FAIL and I will not be going back to your car wash! Chris was not able to remotely "Manage" the situation. An employee with at least a little customer service skill would have done a way better job than how he handled the situation. Really poor management on his part. Aside from the damage...the vehicle wasn't even clean. Water spots on side mirrors and other areas of the vehicle. Never again will I bring my car to a Jacksons! read more

Horrible customer service for the franchise as a whole! I had their monthly membership because I worked around the corner from this location and was planning on moving close. It turned out the job didn't work out and I moved to Maricopa instead. Since I'd be living so far from any of their locations, I cancelled my membership online 3/6. On 3/20 they charged me again for the monthly fee. I immediately emailed their customer care team, from their 'contact us' page. Several days passed with no response and no refund. I called the Highland location and they gave me the number for the corporate office because they couldn't help. Spoke to corporate and Dalia said she would put in the refund request, they would call me in a few days with the approval and then I would have to drive all the way out of my way to the Highland location for them to process the refund. I explained I do not live close, over 40 miles from that location. She went and asked someone about other options. The other option is they can mail me a refund check and it will take 6 weeks for it to arrive. 6 weeks!?! They messed up by charging me 2 weeks after I cancelled my membership. This company is a joke!! Avoid them!! No wonder most of their locations have very low star reviews. There are many other great car washes for you to choose. read more

They need to hire more employees. Very long wait to have car returned. Also very frustrating to see cars who were behind you in line pass your vehicle to be dried first because your vehicle was placed in the slower lane. I never write a review but this was so bad I have to. I took my car here for a detail. It was the worst experience ever. I was charged both for a car wash and basic wash which you would think a basic wash is included in the car wash. The interior of the car was never cleaned. Dust was everywhere nothing was cleaned. I was told that if i wanted to have a better detailing i had to spend another 100 dollars. I was quoted the wrong amount of time it would take for the car to be done. The staff was rude. The man who I assumed was the manager would only refer to the man cleaning my car as a**hole. I will never come here and never recommend it to anyone. Waste of money. read more

Never going back here again! Every single time I come here I get the package that includes cleaning the seats and all the inside and every time is always the same thing. They always leave the car still dirty and end up saying that I did not get the package that includes that type of cleaning. Took my vehicle in to Jacksons to get a oil change and a car wash. After I talked to the guys at the pump I went inside. I forgot my cell phone. I went back and 2 car wash employees were sitting in my car with the windows up and the car running. They rolled down the window and asked what I wanted. I told them I needed my cell phone out of my car. They gave me my phone. I should have left then. It was supposed to be a hour until my vehicle had a oil change and car wash. I went to breakfast. When I came back my vehicle was parked at the gas pumps. The oil change manger said that the could not start the vehicle at the pumps and had to push it to the oil bays. They tried to jump start it and they said it would not hold a charge. I talked to the car wash manger and the oil bay manger. They said it was because of the summer heat the battery and the alternator is drained. They said they could not help us any more. They did jump start the vehicle. We waited in the vehicle until AAA came to help us. The car wash manger said no way it was the car wash employees fault. They would give us the phone number to corporate and we can take it up with them. I'll never come back here. I will call corporate and file a claim. Monday August 1, 2016. I attempted to talk to a manger over the phone and get a contact number to call Jackson's main office. The manger " assured " me that they would not do anything for me. I went in the other day got an oil change that comes with a basic wash. Get my invoice they had me buying an "Ultimate platinum oil change" with an "ultimate wash" WHO THE HELL..?!!!! 1: I Asked for a regular synthetic oil change & 2: give me the free damn (crappy) wash that comes with the $79.00 I just paid for with the oil change. I truly hate the up charge in the sly. "Nice try" I said "NOT paying for any of that.." "Well ma'am it's already completed." "Welp, next time don't try to sneak in sh*t I DID NOT ASK FOR on the low. Guess we all learned something here didn't we?" Needless to say they reduced the price to where it should have been begrudgingly. Never again. This is one of the worst car wash places I have ever been to. I paid for a Premier Car Wash which included air freshener Armor All on the tires biting the inside of your car out and vacuum with air freshener when I got back in my car it was very obvious they didn't want the inside of the car out. So I asked the service professional he doesn't want the inside the car out he stated we don't really do that. That's what I paid for them after complaining to the manager who acted like it was no big deal. That's a form of false advertising after they've gotten your money. It's unfortunate that this place has gone downhill on the service side so bad. I used to come here all the time as a Dannys, It's sold and became a Jacksons and its never been the same. This is the second time that I've had a terrible experience. I literally pulled up to have my truck washed they weren't busy at all. I asked the service rep to make sure they do a very specific vacuum job that I showed a d explained to him. (Part of the wash pricess right). However this was while he was trying to upsell me on a bunch of bulshit that I didn't need he's obviously not a good listener. It had to do with something on the dash. Shocking it didn't get done then I watched the guys drying the vehicle wipe the stuff around the dash and right into the vents after I approach them and ask them if they had a vacuum over the final wash station. Only go here if you want to put up with multiple annoying sales pitches. I will start by saying that the wash itself was fine- good, not great, but they did a decent job and my car looks good. The cashier staff inside were also pleasant and friendly. However, the experience I had there made me feel like I will never return. When I pulled up, I had to endure 3 separate sales pitches before they would wash my car. First, one about my windshield that I respectfully declined. Next, a new person came over to talk to me about my oil change, which I also declined and when I just went ahead and said I'd had my oil changed last week he went away. Finally, someone came over the ask me what type of wash I wanted, and I thought the sales pitches were over. Wrong. Despite saying "No thank you, I cannot spend that kind of money today and am not interested" multiple times, the salesman continued to try to bargain with me about upgrading to a $100+ car detailing. I understand they are there to make money, but when a customer has said no thank you multiple times, it is time to drop it. To top it off, I happened to walk past my car as it was coming out of the wash to see 3 employees hovering over it, prying at one of my windows with something and looking concerned. When I asked if something had happened to my car, the response I received was short and gruff "Lock out," with no further reassurance or explanation. I don't work in the car wash business, so I don't know if it's common for employees to get locked out of the cars. It may be, but a customer doesn't know that, and a few simple words of reassurance would have gone a long way. Again, the wash itself was fine, but the overall experience was very repellant to me. Came for a basic oil change and they haggle you that your car needs this and that... they didn't tell me how much it would cost... all said and done I left with a $540 bill. Just spent $19.99 on a car wash that I could have done a better job at home in my driveway with my own hose and probably less time then it took waiting for my car to be done by someone else........ So may workers yet no one is doing anything except chat and figure out their tips. My car is covered in dried water spots. This place is a joke. I miss the car wash that was here under previous ownership. I should have looked at yelp reviews before returning...... 1 1/2 stars is pretty darn bad for a overall rating and I would consider that generous !!! My rating is a zero!!!! I highly recommend this place if you like incomplete car washes! I just left and my mirrors are still filthy, the back window was never cleaned and still has marks from my dogs nose, every window has smudges on the corners were not even touched. I don't recommend coming here unless you have time to spend afterwards touching up all the areas they miss. It's very unfortunate because this used to be a great car wash location. read more

I would give this place and its staff a NEGATIVE 10 if possible. Consistently POOR SERVICE. STEALING YOUR MONEY GOING HERE. Apparently even if they do a shitty job your still expected to tip. If you don't the secret language is BIRDIE. Why is their no attention to detail? Why do I have to ask for the simplest things to be done even with paying for VIP. Water spots under mirrors, bird poop still, inside wiped down poorly. Why must I ask for what I paid for to be done? I regret coming here and i hope others will stop coming here. TAKE A PASS This business is more focused on the bottom line than the customer's best interests. I came in for a drive through car wash and got the hard sell from Brandon who terrified me into thinking that someone had spray painted my car and that if I didn't get an expensive detailing including clay for the finish that the paint job on my 6-month-old car would be ruined forever. I was an idiot not to get a second opinion, I admit, and I had a bad feeling throughout this whole interaction. I ended up paying more than $500 for the detailing and I saw the car come out squeaky clean after it was went through the wash so I'm not convinced at all that any clay went over the car, ever. The process was not transparent at all. I NEVER actually saw them use clay on my car and got conflicting stories from different people who were working on it. A waited several hours for this whole process despite being told they would do a "rush" job and noting they were "really doing you a favor" (They DID wax it, I know, because they left a couple pieces here and there.) When I got home, I realized no detailing at all was done inside. They didn't even vacuum the vehicle's carpets. The leasing office at my apartment complex told me, "Oh, that's just the sap that falls from the trees when the temperatures cool." And my neighbor told me the same thing happened to her but she took it to Clean Freak car wash and it all came off in a 5 buck wash. Yeah, it looked like crap when I brought it in. But I didn't need to drop five bills to get it cleaned. When I called to yell at Brandon, he said, "Well, sap can also ruin your car finish." But yeah, you told me you were 100 percent sure this was some kind of of overspray or vandalism. I would not have spent all that money for tree sap and he really pushed me into it. Never again and I hope anyone who reads this doesn't use this business. I guess the worst part is that I feel like I was tricked and dealt with dishonestly. I wish I could give this place stars in the negative. After paying $106 for a VIP car wash and an oil change I thought at the very least my car would be actually clean. My car came back with the same bird poo that it went in with. The service was bad and this was an expensive mistake I will never make again. My advice would be for you to spend your money someplace else. You will be disappointed here. read more

Ok here it goes my day started off to be an off day, I planned on going to work, but then my nerves got the best of me and soon the water works.. I decided to get my car washed to brighten my mood. I googled DIY car wash near me when leaving the condo and low and behold Jacksons Car Wash was at the top of the list, I recognized the profile pic to be the Shell gas station near the Fry's grocery store (I used to frequently shop at before we moved) Lets just say if it wasn't for both Kari & Miguel's help; this would have been 1 star rating. I honestly had no idea a business could run on an entire staff of Jack wagons. I never saw my Kia go through the wash. I can tell you I saw countless vehicles go in and out from Honda, Tesla, Corvette, Toyota (the list goes on) as I'm walking around scanning through the windows to spot my ride, (mind you; the four employees working inside never greeted or asked how I was) my green Kia parked far away with a group of cars, I assume in line to be washed. After a good run through all the bad reviews on Yelp, checking the time stamp on my receipt, WTF I then ask the cashier how long does it take to wash a car, she says "It's done" and tells me to go outside and find a guy with a gray shirt show my receipt for the keys.. Simple right?! No gray shirt no help, nothing, I then ask one of the employees from the oil/air filter changing station Kari, she gets Miguel, who gives me my keys; hears me out and assures it has been through wash and suggested me to get a refund. I am so over it, at this point I just want to go home. Idk I snapped some photos. I'm still not convinced. read more

I purchased the Ultimate Wash which is their most expensive car wash. I got half way home to find that some of my windows were filthy. I got out of my car to look it over and I also found the wheels to be smudged and dirty. I should not have to drive back to get these issues resolved, especially after spending nearly $40.00. Every single time I come here I have to send it back around to have windows washed or have it vacuumed or wiped or something that they didn't do. Every time! I don't know why I keep coming back.
