I sat behind a guy just chitchatting and talking about watches to your employee for over 15 minutes while four cars through the members only went through. Your employees need to be mindful of lines waiting while we're on lunch breaks. I prefer cobblestone. They're better and faster. read more

I was just expecting to grab a quick car wash. But when Thomas told me they were running a $190 special for only $75 today, I agreed to the elevated service. Thomas completely oversold the service -- saying they'd have a whole dedicated crew working on it, bragged about the buff and polish, etc. In the end, it was 2 guys with spray bottles and they were done in 15-minutes. I had bugs and dirt still all over my car. I was livid - and mostly because of the shady sales pitch and smoke and mirrors trying to act like I was getting a $190 service. It wasn't even worth $40. This promotion preys on consumers who won't speak up. I will never come back here. If you want a great car wash, go to Tom's Thumb on Bell and spend the $50. You'll be way happier. read more

Service people were nice, however I payed $80 for the interior/exterior deal plus floor mats and was told they would clean cup holders / dash, etc. When I went to pick up my car, the engine was still running (assuming it was for 30 minutes with AC blasting) and it looked like nothing had been cleaned at all. Floor boards, cup holders, everything was just as dirty as it started. I asked if they had gotten to it yet and was told it was done and ready to go. Complete waste of time and money! read more

Even after I declined, the attendant pushed it through then printed a receipt that offers no info to monitor or end the membership. I went to Jacksons for an exterior car wash and the girl that came to the car told me next time you have to go on the other line with the exterior car wash. I told her last time I went on that line the guy told me its only for members. She told me I'm telling you to go on that line next time and not to argue with her. I said I'm not arguing I'm telling you what they told me last time. Then she took my card charged it and gave me no receipt as they always do. They would probably make more money on the pizza if they lowered the price back down because right now it's 2 slices for $8 and when I go in there in the evening they are throwing away half of the pies because it didn't sell. I have never written a bad review until now. I pulled up for a car wash today. There are not any signs out front with car wash pricing. After waiting for quite some time, Thomas approaches my car and I ask him about the pricing options. He tries to sell me a $75 package and other expensive options. All I wanted was a basic interior/exterior wash. He was very rude and told me the only pricing for a wash with interior and exterior was $39.99. When I said that was too expensive, the only other option he offered was exterior only, no vacuuming or interior cleaning. He completely lied to me. Went in for a car wash and the first thing Thomas.Scott says to me is dang your car is dirty. I said I just want the cheapest wash. Tries to upsell me on doing the full wash and wax I said no. What is the second cheapest option you have and he told me I could get my tires shined. I say okay. The tires look like they were not shined whatsoever. He just kept telling me oh your car is so dirty it won't do the job. No it did, but me paying for my tires to be polished and they look like that is awful. I've been looking for a nearby car wash with good reviews but those are rare it seems. I took a chance and came here and it was a decent experience. I find car washes stressful because I don't know where to go, who to tip and I seem to get flustered easily at these places. Payment happens in the pull-in lane and you sit in the car while guided through the mechanical wash. I was directed to a specific lane after the wash and that's where I exited my vehicle and the interior was done. For $30, it was decent enough. There was a sticky spot they missed on the console and it was all wiped down with a very linty cloth so I went over all of it with a lint-free cloth I keep in my car. read more

Went in for a hand wash and I asked the price. The gentleman told me 150.00 for a basic hand wash. I asked why it was so much and if it would be a perfect job. The salesman told me he couldn't guarantee that. I then asked how long they take on a basic hand wash. I've been to this Jackson's location before and they took forever then but they stated that they used the whole 3 hours to detail my car and this was a couple of years ago and I just never went back. Well I needed another detailing for my car and was going to The Thumb but with COVID-19 their full interior services were temporarily shut down. I had no choice but to go back to Jackson's. I got there at 8:30am and was greeted by one of their workers shortly after and I advised that I need a full interior and exterior wash. The man checked my car and found some stains from a sprinkler of hard water stain so he stated it would cost extra to remove this. The total price was $199 interior, $199 exterior and then $99 for the clay wash for the bottom side of one of my doors. That is a hell of a lot of money and much more than I paid at The Thumb but I had no choice so the man said he would just charge for the exterior and clay wash and that the interior would just be rolled in so total was $299.99 with that "discount"! Honestly if I didn't take time to think about the $500 cost they would have made me pay the whole amount and that's just absurd especially with what I had to witness while I waited. I was told it would take 3 hours to complete and I was the second car in line and the approximate start time of them working on my car was 9:20am. At 9:55am the man came in and said "I apologize but they didn't start on your car right away and they will start in about 10 minutes or so!" I had no choice but to just wait it out at that point. At 11am I saw my car outside and thought it was done but I was advised it would be at noon for it to be fully done. I sat by the window and watched and waited for 45 minutes no one, absolutely no one touched my car and then the man came back and stated it will take another half hour or so to be completed. Well obviously since no one was actually working on my car. Finally at 1pm someone started wiping my car down and then at 1:20pm I was told it will take another 20-30 minutes. The front desk girl was really nice and gave me Free car wash coupon which I don't need but thanked her. I'm not coming back here. All I ask for is good service and an honest time frame. Instead I was given the sales talk of "we take that long since we work on your car for the entire 3 hours" and that was an absolute lie since I watched no one touch my car for an entire consecutive 45 minutes only to be told to wait some more. I wish The Thumb was open so I wouldn't have had to deal with this. Honestly would not recommend this spot as they could clearly charge you more when it's not necessary and will tell you that they will have specific people work on your care solely and that's not the case. If they are busy or short staffed, just tell me that. Don't sell me on workers detailing my car the full 3 hours when that's not the case. I literally watched them wipe the inside and outside of my car for 1 hour and then move it to another spot to just continue to wipe out the outside and then 15 minutes later a vacuum came out. At 2pm I was advised that they are still working on the hard water stain on my car and will take another 20 minutes Or if I wanted to leave now I can come back next week to get it worked on some more and now they moved the car where it's not in my line of sight. What is the point of my leaving now just to come back and wait some more? Where is the logic in that? There was no need for the wait of over 4 hours. If there were more cars ahead, say that! Time is precious and I spent my entire Saturday afternoon at a car wash place and no, I'm not about to take an Uber to another store so that these folks can just continue to delay working on my car. Really disappointed! I was here for 6 hours and paying $300 would be worth 3 hours or even 6 hours if they actually took the entire consecutive amount of hours to work on my car and not drag it on. I took some pics since they missed some spots and I stopped taking pics after the 8th.... just wasn't even done well. Unfortunately, I can't say this detail was anywhere near worth the $350 I paid. If anything I'd say it was a total rip off. I had an appointment scheduled for a full detail, inside and out, with a headlight restoration. Not only did they have my car for 7 hours, my headlights didn't even looked like they were touched. The front of my car still had so much on it, the windows inside were still dirty, and whatever they cleaned my carpets with has my car smelling like a wet dog. Not to mention they will not offer a refund. Maybe for a basic car wash and vacuum they'd be alright but I won't even come back there for that. read more

This place feels shady. They immediately start trying to upsell you and even after you tell them you're not interested, they just keep pushing more and more services. Paint services, tint, oil change, tires, windshield film.. My car was 1 month old and they were pushing me to buy a full paint correction and a new clear bra for the front. Scam artists for sure. The price of a wash is way too high for the lazy service they provide. The car came out horrible. There was still bird droppings on the hood and the guy tried to pick at it with his fingernail for a sec, then walked off and left it and told me my car was done. Water spots everywhere, and they slopped so much of that tire black on the tires that I had to wipe off the excess myself to avoid it being flung all over the car when I drove off. No wonder they ask you for the tip upfront.. They also make you drive your own car through the machine, and the place clearly wasn't initially intended for the customer to be the one doing that. We brought our car here for a detail at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. When we dropped the vehicle off, we were told that it would be 3 to 4 hours. We agreed to the timeframe but declined the costly add ons despite super heavy upsell attempts. Just a basic wash & detail, please. Upon returning four hours later (as directed by the car wash attendant at drop off), we were told that our vehicle would not be done until 5 o'clock. They close at 5 o'clock... so they wanted us to come back at a time they would be closed/ closing...? This made no sense & we did not agree to it. The manager, Matthew, then told my fiancé that I told him that we were coming back to pick up the vehicle at 5 PM (a lie). Then manager Matthew said that I told him after 3pm was okay (another lie & this 'manager' cannot get his story straight)! When I confirmed that I'd said no such thing, he became verbally argumentative with my fiancé & manager Matthew started to yell at him in the parking lot. Manager Matthew then insisted we dropped the car off at 10, so we pulled out the paid receipt. He then doubled down & said that even if we did drop it off around 9:30, it hadn't been 4+ hours... until he looked at the current time & counted the hours out on his fingers. Seriously. We told them to bring the car out as we had no additional time to wait & at this point, it had been over 4 hours (we live in northern AZ, 2 hours away, & needed to get home). A refund for the services not yet complete was only offered after we mentioned their corporate offices. The manager then loudly yelled across the parking lot "DO YOU WANT A REFUND OR NOT?!" Um, yes! We DO want the money back for services paid for & not delivered in the timeframe promised. Now we get to wait 3-5 days to make sure it happens. The poor kid tasked with bringing out the car was extremely apologetic & kind - the polar opposite of the car wash manager Matthew. I hope the kid doesn't get into any trouble; this wasn't on him. This is on manager Matthew & his inability to run his store efficiently as well as his complete lack of customer service skills. I'm left wondering if the job would have been done in a timely manner had we opted for the over priced add ons. The massive SUV that came in after us & ordered a detail service was done before our car was; we watched him drive away just as we watched him pull up hours ago. We had a small, 4 door hatchback. It felt like our car's detail was paused to attend to what the staff assumed was more affluent customers (we pre tipped, but apparently it wasn't enough $$). What they didn't know was the car we were having detailed was for a 15 year old family member that just received her driver's permit. It wasn't our actual car... we were simply having it cleaned so it would look amazing when our family's newest driver got behind the wheel. I've used Jackson Car Wash for YEARS & have never had the experience I had today. Next time, I'm going to Cobblestone... they don't make up lies & yell at their customers. read more

Ironically, last week I chose to sign up for their monthly car wash deal. Then, there seemed to be a bit of confusion when I drove up to go through the wash. The attendant didn't seem to know what he was doing. Bottom line, as I am going through the wash my car (in neutral) runs into the car ahead of me and leaves a big dent in my front fender. I spoke with a manager, who told me it was my fault and that I needed to speak to the car owner in front of me, who was no longer around. How convenient. I'm a member and feel the monthly fee for exterior car wash is completely fine. It's a great value. I stopped in the Northsight Jackson's Monday Dec 19, 2022 at approximately 330 pm. Jackson's here is ok for some things, BUT, The 199.00 charge for interior cleaning including a so called carpet shampooing, window cleaning and seat treatment was a total overcharged farce. I do not believe the single person doing the work broke a sweat in the hour and a half service. I did not feel any dampness or clean smelling carpet as I paid for. I expected ALLOT more. I have weather tech mats throughout my Yukon XL and the carpets were I'm sure clean but I paid for and was told the carpets and the convertible back seat carpets would be cleaned and shampooed. They were not cleaned as I'm fairly sure. Convince me otherwise. (Mat marks still present and small debris not ever swept up less shampooed and no clean smell directly from the carpeting. I feel cheated and the service protocol deceptive for the general public. I am a busy person and why go out of your way to support an understaffed way sub par service by yet another greedy corporate owner! Calling the business today. read more

I never review or post on places. This is my second place I've ever reviewed, the 1st was a 5 star, to give perspective. For a $30 car wash, I basically got the $8 self wash with no inside cleaning. None. No scent that I requested. The dash was dusty, dog hair everywhere like they didn't even try (I know dog hair is hard to get, but see pictures for reference. The cups were still untouched. The outside of the truck bed had dirt all over it, how is this possible when I run my finger simply across and dirt shows up?! I had purchased a package of hand car washes at Jackson's on 8106 Tierra Buena, Scottsdale, AZ. I was given a green card by the manager, Ace, that I purchased the car washes from showing the number of washes I was entitled to. On 6/28/25 I went to this Jackson's for a car wash. I gave the green card to the employee checking cars in who said he would give it to his manager who would then return it to me. At the completion of my car wash the card hadn't been return. The same employee I had originally given the card to went to get the manager who came over to me with two other employees. When I asked for my card back they refused. I told them I purchased multiple hand car washes from Ace. I was told that he no longer worked there and that he shouldn't have given me that card. The employee referred to as "my number one" by the manager then threatened me by saying "I'll beat the crap out of you if you come back." read more

Prior to 2020 they would vacuum your car then drive it for you through the tunnel wash and wipe your whole car afterwards! And there was an awesome waiting room! Now it's absolute garbage!
