They are amazing! I just walked in today with some unworn jewelry I received from my mother. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring at Jacqueline's and had it custom made, based on a picture he had. Jacqueline's did a fabulous job and nailed all the details. Jacqueline truly made my dream ring! Not only did they hit all the marks with the engagement ring but they also did with our wedding bands! My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Jacqueline, and to be fair, I absolutely love my ring. He was told the ring was 18K gold and was told he would receive a certificate authenticating the diamond. He paid and left. However, when he went back to pick up the ring with the certificate, he was told by Jacqueline that there is no such certificate for lab diamonds (which isn't true), and that he was never promised a certificate. Also, the ring is clearly stamped 14K not 18K. He said while he was there, Jacqueline continually tried to upsell him, and when we were both there to get my ring fitted, we both experienced the same thing. After they fitted it, they cleaned it, and when they handed it back, one of her staff kept telling me how beautiful it was and it looked SO great - except one of the diamonds was missing! If I hadn't paid attention and pointed it out, who knows what would have happened. Her staff member did apologize, and found the lost diamond in the cleaning machine and placed it back inside my setting, but it goes to show you that they are kind of just paying lip service without actually looking at what it is they are giving you. Jacqueline is a hustler, a good talker, and I get it - it's a business and you gotta do what you gotta do. They are nice enough, but telling people one thing and giving them another is not really acceptable. Pay attention when you're here and make sure you get appropriate documentation PRIOR to payment. read more

I first used them to resize my wedding band and they did a great job. I had been interested in doing a custom piece, a belt buckle in 18K gold. We discussed the project and I provided a current buckle to model from. Their jeweler created a wax model and Jacqueline went over the amount of gold it would take to make the buckle and advised to have the jeweler shave it down some to get the costs down. After the revised model was provided to me for an ok and we agreed on the pricing, they set off to make the buckle. It came out fantastically and I am super happy with their services and the final product. read more

My husband took our rings in to get cleaned and dipped in Rhodium! They look absolutely phenomenal! We originally were going back to our jeweler in downtown Chicago, but they were unable to complete this after my husband traveled all the way to Chicago, in Friday traffic, and received no notice of cancellation from them. The final piece was sloppy and unprofessional looking, uneven and had clearly not been looked at before presenting to me. I had to take it back to them multiple times for touch ups before I was passably satisfied.
