I would not trust anyone else with my jewelry! After I got engaged I brought my ring to MCJ to get sized. The ring is very old because it was my great grandmothers. I brought it in and their jewelry repair man came out to look at it, told me the little issues with it that i didn't even notice! Came back about 2 days later to pick it up and it was like brand new! He did an amazing job! Another visit later I came to get my wedding band sized, part of the set from above, which has engraving in the inside of it and detail on the top front side. Once again this man performed magic, he not only sized it down, he did not mess up the engraving or the intricate detail on the outside. I will definitely be returning for any jewelry repairs I need. I had selected this place because of the great reviews. However, when I walked in to get an appraisal on my engagement ring, my experience was absolutely dismal! The man who was managing the store barely spoke English and couldn't answer any of my questions about the appraisal process. There was also a teenage girl there without any knowledge of the business trying to translate. At first they said they couldn't do the appraisal, but then the man took my ring and had the girl take pictures with her phone. I had a few questions none of which either could answer so instead I just took my ring back and walked out. Would not recommend. read more

This place is fantastic. The owners are very sweet and accommodating and are clearly experts in what they do. I called many places for appraisals and was given outrageous estimates but Craig said charged a very reasonable price to get my ring appraised and he also did it so quickly. Awesome! This about sums up MCJ. The owners are lovely people- knowledgeable and not pushy, but the man who steals the show is Serkis. He is absolutely amazing. His craftsmanship is top notch. You can't even tell that work has been done! He is adept at working with high carats of gold, unlike most other jewelers in the states and is very efficient. He is also a lovely person. I got my engagement ring resized here. They had it done for me by the end of the day and charged a very fair price for the work. My ring fits PERFECTLY I was a little nervous it would be too tight but it's like it was made for my finger and with careful inspection there is no blemish no line no indentation from the resize it looks completely untouched (which should mean that the ring still has most of its integrity) I will be coming here for any future jewelry repair/service I need! read more

MCJ is just the best!! My fiancé custom designed my engagement ring with Craig and it is literally the ring of my dreams. I will let him review his experience but I can say the result is stunning!!! Anytime it needs a cleaning I bring it in and they polish the gold and clean the diamond and I leave with what feels like a brand new ring every time. We also just purchased my wedding bands from them. So helpful and knowledgeable. Craig advised us what kind of band I should get and then Serkis worked his magic to size the ring and to make sure the bands fit snug next to my engagement band. They do NOT advise you to buy more or bigger to try to rob you. Quite the opposite! They provide fitting services and cleaning services for free and Craig is so honest in leading you to buy what is best for you and what makes sense vs trying to upsell you for his benefit. I'm obsessed with all of my rings from them and the diamonds in them. Everyone that works there (Craig, his wife, and Serkis) are sweet and friendly and welcoming.
