Tarlan told me which frame would best complement the shape of my face and my skin/hair coloring, etc. When I asked her opinion about a specific frame, she answered honestly and explained the reason. (I totally trusted her judgment, because I loved her personal style.) Tarlan also helped me understand all the optional features, such as anti-reflective and UV protection and transition lenses with blue light... I take my eyeglass frames very seriously, because I think of them to be, by far, my most important accessory. Everyone sees them, and you wear them for at least a couple years. They reflect your personality. I know this sounds OCD, but I actually spent hours Googling "Best Eyeglass stores in LA" before I even started shopping. Then I visited at least 5 of the "top 10 eyeglass frame stores" (Lux, Hye, etc.) before l.a.Eyeworks! At the other stores, I found frames that were "just okay." The thing I love most about l.a.Eyeworks (besides working with Tarlan) is that they carry a unique selection of frames you won't find anywhere else! That sounds like a commercial advertisement. LOL. But I really mean it! And did I mention they have a parking lot at their new location?
