Another great meal from Jade garden! This was the first time eating in the restaurant. They have a ton of seating and are super helpful. someone comes to take your order or there is also a QR code at each table where you can order from as well. They have a kids menu which I didn't know about until eating here since the option isn't on the online ordering. We got the plan lo mein for $6.25 and kids chicken nuggets and fries for $6.50, both big size portions! I had the moo shoo chicken that comes with a side of white rice and 4 pancakes and it's my favorite!! Not many places around here offer it any more. My husband had the sesame chicken with pork fried rice. Not too sweet and very fresh tasting! Great restaurant, highly recommend for take out or dine in

Love this place - tonight's batch was $39.98. Large house lo mein, small beef and broccoli, small crab Rangoon, small sweet and sour chicken and 2 white sauces. Their white sauce is to die for - homemade shrimp sauce. Great family runs this place - food is always good and consistent. Two thumbs up!!

Since I was in the area, I decided to pop into this excellent Chinese American restaurant. I've lost count of just how many times I eaten here, easily in the dozens over a ten year time period On this visit I decided to once again go with the Singapore Chow Mei Fu - this despite the fact that I'd had the same dish on my last visit a few weeks back. This place does much that is very good but this just maybe their very best. I also ordered Pork Fried Rice, another favorite! The Singapore Chow Mei Fun is a very busy dish the base of which are rice vermicelli or angel hair noodles and a sauce that contains yellow curry powder and a bit of soy sauce. Other items include cooked shrimp, Char Sui, chicken and well scrambled egg. Vegetables are also present - white onion, scallions, carrot, green pepper, and celery. The items are cooked separate and then combined with the sauce in a work for a short period and then plated. This dish has a nice heat level due to the curry powder, and the other items have a great layer of flavor, and the overall dish has a lot of crunch, great texture. I highly recommend this dish, and because of the portion size, sharing woks well. And so does the fried rice. The Pork Fried Rice is another excellent dish, and also is a nice portion. The rice has a nice amount of Char Sui, green peas, carrot, corn, and chopped white onion.

Who said the south doesn't have good Chinese food?! This place is a bit out of my way, as my parents live nearby in Advance, but it is worth the trip! Wish I knew about it sooner and certainly will be back! The place is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food comes out hot, fresh, and excellently made! No cutting corners here, and the prices are great too! ($10.95 for my general tso chicken combo dinner as of this review) Everything was great, but the fried pork dumplings were probably the best thing. The general tso chicken had a great crispy batter with the right ratio of sauce. Not drowning in it and not dry either. Definitely another top contender in the area, and another spot I would say equally as good to some of the better places I've had in NY.

    Hibachi steak and shrimp

We visited and the food just wasn't great. We both had hibachi steak and shrimp. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't terribly good either. The fried rice seemed to be just that, fried rice, no sign of pork, vegetables, or eggs. The shrimp and vegetables were good, the steak was chewy and we didn't eat much of it. I'd recommend that they switch to fillet, and tune up their rice, this could have been a great meal. Service was good, place was clean and comfortable.

Good food, Chinese food around here can be rough so this is much better than other places. Portions are massive. But I give it a 4 because It tasted a little too salty for my taste.

We wanted sushi and red curry and they delivered us some excellent eats. Service was awesome and the manager still always comes by to ask if everything is ok. Love that. Probably at some point will need a Reno as they have been open awhile but nothing looked bad nice busy atmosphere and lots of customers which is nice to see. We ordered a standard vodka soda from the drink menu. They have drink specials every day as well. Then we tried the sweet heat roll which was so pretty ! Delicious with all the sushi elements. Yum. Then we tried the poke bowl with ahi tuna. Wow so big! Rice, seaweed salad and lots of Veggies and a yummy soy wasabi vinaigrette. The tuna sashimi was so fresh. Then the red curry with chicken. We asked for extra Thai spicy and it was just the perfect heat. Served with white rice this was a huge portion honestly could have served 3 people. We still had a lot left over . They were also great about giving us another bowl of rice which is also a nice touch . The sauce here for this red curry is amazing. I will be back to buy it as we asked if they sell it and our server said yes . It is one of the best I've ever had. We were somewhat totally full !! Haha! Our soups and appetizer were the absolute best thing we ate. Our entrees were okay. My husband got the beef bulgogi and it needed something. He thought the addition of chili sauce would make it ideal. He gave it a 6 out of 10. I ordered the hibachi beef bowl and it was lacking flavor. The beef was well cooked but didn't seem to have any salt, soy sauce, or anything like that. It was a 5 out of 10.

They have Malaysian food and a specialty menu for khmer food. Khmer food is not knowned much in the east but its beginning to be more learned about and popular. There food is rich in flavor and there cuisine is mostly known for there use of fresh herbs, coconut milk and aromatic spice paste;known as kroeung(lemon grass paste). I decided to try some entrees from the Khmer menu. I tryed the Malaysian Roti appetizer with side curry. It is so so delicous. The curry is tasty too but a little too sweet for my taste. Main entrees I tryed was the chicken kroeung (sour lemongrass soup) and the braised pork meat on bone cooked in soy sauce( Malaysian style but Khmer people have a similar dish). The chicken kroeung is soup for the soul, filled with alot of green veggies and best eaten with white rice. The braised pork meat is great too. Cooked just right and seasoned good. Its not sweet or salty. Usually I would try braised meat in soy at other restaurants either it would be way too sweet or salty but they made theres just right. Now the Southeastern asian cooking is not for everybody or those who have only tried chinese or japanese food. If you'd like to try something different but oh sooo delicous, khmer cusine is for you!! Next time am going to try the donut shop before I come here since it closed earlier.

As expected given its origins, Xia's menu skews Vietnamese (pho, banh mi, fresh rolls, and lettuce wraps), but there are Chinese influences as well. That menu isn't terribly large, but it does offer a good deal of versatility, including vegetarian options. My wife and I went with steamed dumplings followed by short ribs and garlic green beans with beef and rice. The flavors were excellent across the board. The green beans were sharply garlicky without overwhelming the palate while the ribs offered lemongrass notes and a hint of sweetness. The dumplings will make it hard to go back to the frozen version any time soon. Service was friendly and generally attentive. Our group of four ended up receiving dishes at different times, a possible product of the "small plates" concept blurring the distinction between courses. Speaking of which, expect small portions, especially for the near-entree prices paid. Nothing was outrageous, but a "come hungry and fill up" joint this is not. If you can look past that limitation, Xia's Asian Tapas offers tasty food in an attractive location. Provided you aren't famished, it's worth checking out.

It took two people to bring our tea and water. After awhile a server brought out our son's spring rolls and my wife's egg roll. The a different server brought out my crab wontons.A few minutes later the dumplings found its way to our table. Now as I stated right from the get go the appetizer's were delicious and piping hot with a very good dipping sauce. My wife mentioned right off her egg roll was delicious and she's very fond of egg rolls. Instead of bringing our meal out on a tray it came out one plate at a time. When we Finally had our food sitting on the table I basically could have eaten most of mine before my son who was the last to receive his.Now again the food was delicious. No complaints from any of the four of us.As we were eating a party of 6 was beside us it was the same thing. I kept telling my son who has a culinary degree that I smell chicken wings. He would look at me sorta weird like. Well with that being said. Slowly their appetizers started coming out. Several had some bowls of soup. The Bowles were a good size. But just like my nose was telling me one in that group had an appetizer of some really good looking chicken wings. I know on my next trip I will definitely be trying those good looking wings. But now back to our experience. The servings were a nice proportion. The food was excellent. The service was slow. It was 2:15 when we were paying our bill and waiting out the door.So basically we were there over an hour and a half. It's almost as though each dish was cooked one at a time. A person dropping by fro lunch may be pushed for time. Again the food and Appetizers were excellent. The tab was just a bit over $93.00 dollars. I hate I forgot to take a picture of the delicious appetizers.
