I like the minimalist and modern aesthetic and use of more muted, natural colors. In Philly, I hadn't come across any nail salons that offer those kinds of designs and/or colors so, when I chanced upon O'Studio's Yelp page, I wanted to check them out. The online appointment booking process was pretty straightforward, which you complete on their website. I booked a "Gel Manicure w/ Art/Design" and "Regular/Undecided" appointment. The appointment was originally for 1 hr 40 mins and the actual appointment ended up being 2 hrs. The total cost ended up being $108 excluding tip. The design I ended up chosing was a design that's featured on their Instagram (@pipimiaonail) but opted for a different nail shape. It seems like they regularly update their Instagram so, if you're indecisive like me, that's a good place to look for inspiration. They cater towards more of a Chinese speaking clientele but they were still very English friendly. My appointment went well and you can tell that the nail techs put a lot of care and attention in fulfilling the client's nail request; my nail tech, Chelsea, regularly checked in with me to make sure the nails were to my liking. I'm very happy with how my nails turned out and I've received several compliments. If I had to make any minor comments, when my cuticles were being trimmed, I was nicked a little bit on the thumb. Also, for one of the nails that had gold glitter on it, initially, a different type of glitter was used. After it was realized that the glitter was different, the different glitter wasn't completely removed before applying the gold glitter per the design. But, those are super minor comments and overall I think a fantastic job was done. Would I go back? : Definitely! I would highly recommend their services. They are a bit on the pricey side but I think it's worth paying the extra bit of money for the type, level, and quality of service they provide. Because this was my first visit, I erred on the safe side by choosing a design they had previously done. After my positive experience, I can tell that they are very skilled and will consider requesting other outside designs in the future.

She starts your appointment off by having you pick a color & then she gives you the option to watch TV or chat. She is incredibly detail oriented and made sure each nail was perfect and that I was comfortable. My nails are short, but she managed to make them feel longer & healthier than I can ever remember. The shop is quiet, warm, & inviting - it's exclusively appointment only so it was very helpful for my ND brain. You can tell that Anh wants her salon to be a safe space to improve nail health without judgement, and I am so grateful I found her!
