I am in Nashville I'm business and cracked a nail pretty bad. So I happened upon jade nails in hope of a good fix. I was not disappointed! I walked in and was immediately seated with an amazing technician who was fastidious and precise with my nails. I got an SNS manicure and I am in love with the turn out. My nail tech helped me pick the color and shape even based on what I wanted. Plus he gave me a tip for the nail that had broken earlier that day for free just so my nails could all be the same length. If I'm ever in Nashville again I would definitely come back! read more

One of my biggest pet peeve's when getting a mani/pedi is when they put an extra coat on just one of your hands or just one foot. Like if you're doing my pedicure and already put two coats on both of my feet, WHY would you put a third coat only on one foot?! It's soooo frustrating because I end up paying for a pedicure with one foot that has noticeably darker polish. My friend recommended Jade nails to me so I was already prematurely trusting this place. I went to my appointment yesterday and after these very strange uneven coat results I probably won't go back. They also do not offer anything above the very basic mani/pedi. There are no levels/tiers of what kind of products used or type of pedicure you want. No designs, no jewels, no additional color whatsoever. I personally do not really care about having a design/gem, but I thought it was worth noting in case others are looking for those options! I was mostly disappointed that there wasn't even any type of menu or option to choose whatever service done & products you want used. The store itself is also very outdated along with all of the chairs and equipment inside. Also, whatever music was playing had frequent commercials blaring after every song. My grandma and I were traveling through Nashville going to see a show at the Grand Ole Opry and she wanted her nails to look good but needed a lot of help to fix her gel coats. This place was fantastic! They were able to get us in for a same day appointment. They took the time to make sure her nails were all fixed up, cleaned up, and even gave her advice on how to best take care of them. She was thrilled with the end product, and can't wait to show them off at the show tonight! I stopped at this place because it was near where I was running errands. I was greeted warmly and quickly sat in a chair. The gentleman that worked on my feet was great! He gave a really long leg massage with just the right amount of pressure. I was extremely impressed with his ability to remove ALL the scaly dry skin off the heels of my feet. And I don't mean he made it soft to the touch for a few hours after the procedure - I mean completely remove the dead skin leaving soft new skin. My boyfriend was in the chair next to me and received the same treatment. I would definitely visit this place again if I lived in the area. read more

I've run into so many issues getting my nails done in the Donelson area. I really want to love a salon close to home and FINALLY!!!!! Jade Nails hit the spot! The nail tech was so kind and took her time on my nails even tho it was an hour or so before closing on a Thursday night! It did not seem to offend her that I was feeling extra quiet or in my work garb after a long day which made it extra relaxing for me. She was detail oriented and switched gears to pick out an undercoat color for my glitter pop nail because it needed a little something extra to look just right. I left without getting my nails painted. My regular gal is out of the country so I did a walk in. I was needing a fill and gel polish. The man hurt me several times with the drill getting it too hot and being rough pushing back my cuticles. My hands hurt. His technique was long and unnecessary too. I paid for the fill but I will be going someone else to get my nails all the same size and polished this evening. read more

Eh... I tried the shellac manicure. Some miscommunication as well because I wanted length and thought you could add a tip without using acrylic, but found out after she started putting polish on a bare nail after very basic filing. I basically got polish, and after 3 coats it's fn opaque still so it doesn't even look like polish is there. When I think of a manicure I think of cuticle trimming (she did a little bit still look pretty scraggly), a hand massage and moisturizer which I got none. Pretty sure I could have done a better job at home. Allegedly the shellac will last until the nails grow out and will make them hard so they won't break. Who am I kidding...kind of pissed my cuticles look this bad after paying $25 plus tip. Maybe acrylics are their forte or something but I feel pretty ripped off. Probably going to paint my nails when I get home. read more

I got a much needed pedicure ,the salt scrub and massage was great ,the massage chairs were just ok (they did swivel for easy access) Price was very fair at $25. read more

Went here today with my boyfriend for 2 pedicures. It was early afternoon. Walked in. Wasn't greeted. Read the menu board. They charge an extra $5 for men. Why? So $30 for him and $25 for me. That was off putting. Eventually we just sat down to wait and still no one said anything to us. So we left. Can't say whether or not they provide good pedicures but their customer service is terrible. read more

Tried this salon since I'm new to the area. Really nice staff, but unfortunately it was the worst gel manicure I've received. Tech had to start over on three nails after the third coat. I got a great pedicure and gel manicure at Jade! It was my first time there and they really took their time and did a great job. I am giving them 4 instead of 5 stars for 2 reasons - first, my friend and I arrived at 6:15 (they take their last clients at 6:30) and the person who greeted us and asked us what we wanted seemed like she really didn't want us to be there once we told her we both wanted a gel mani and a regular pedi. So it felt a tad uncomfortable. However the two technicians who actually did our nails were nice as could be. The second thing is that my tech was kinda rough on my nails. He did a good job but sometimes whatever he was doing actually hurt. And I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. Still, my nails look fab so I'll definitely go back :) read more
