I walked in and there were plenty of active manicurists available and it was also pretty busy for a Monday. I didn't see a menu of prices and was asked if I wanted a mani pedi. I said I wanted gel polish manicure. She quickly said yes, directed me to sit, and I asked how much it would be (I'd experienced so many times before the mystery price at the end.) She said $40, I agreed, "picked a color" before I sat down. I was asked "do you want manicure?", "yes, I did say that". Reply, "$50". I asked if the price was going to change again before I sat down and got some attitude from what I assumed was manager and told I asked for a gel polish replacement not a manicure, I did not. Moving on. The manicurist assigned, started to drill my nails, which I wasn't used to for gel polish, but went with it. She used the drill close to my cuticles and I could feel the burn around them but went with it. Then she started painting my nails, no soaking in water, no cuticle cut back so I asked and I heard several conversations in Vietnamese and she continued. I asked the woman next to me if she used this place often and she said it was her third time and found each manicurist does things differently. OK. I went with it. She finished painting my nails, did the heat lamp thing and then put my hands in water and asked if I wanted my cuticles cut back. I thought it was odd to cut cuticles AFTER my nails were done but I went with it. She finished , never offered me a drink, never said a word and continued with no reply when I thanked her. I went to pay and asked if I would pay card or cash, I paid with debit and found they charged additionally $1.99 for using my card. Signing the receipt, I didn't feel like a customer, I was a dollar sign. I was a means to an end. I go to get my nails done to ease the pressures in life, you know when you feel like your just a number and you go to do something nice gor yourself? Not here. This place is a joke, Nashville already has issues with decent nail salons. I don't mind paying whatever it cost but this place is very difficult to communicate with staff, they play dumb with you. You can see that with past customer reviews. They cut my nails horribly, did not follow my specifications with my pedicure. They were very rude when I asked why they didn't follow what I specifically asked for; no response or apology? I normally only post positive reviews with establishments that I patronize. But this place treats clients like dirt. They are a complete rip off. They don't admit to mistakes. I'm not the type of person to judge one's ability with communication or one's native language spoken but no one speaks English which I believe is the core issue. I noticed other clients having similar issues in the chairs next to me. At least one person should be able to communicate with patrons at all times, especially for safety reasons. Went for a basic manicure that involved gel removal and asked for just a clear coat polish. Cut my nails extremely short- shorter than I asked- and they're not even. One is filed at a slope. After he did the manicure, had to ask him to go back and address my cuticles- left tons of hang nails, didn't clean up the cuticles at all, didn't clean under the end to get the loose filings. Nails were basically rough when painted. Didn't let them dry between clear coats and ended up with a ton of bubbles. Whole thing was rushed and terrible. read more

I got a gel pedicure, they cut me... they did a terrible job painting, were aggressive with the drill removing previous gel, which was painful, and still made me pay for my service with only a $7 discount. The man doing my pedicure seemed kind, but was careless with his technique and made me bleed cutting my cuticles, as you can see in the photo. I'm so disappointed in my experience & how this was handled with such little care or respect for the client. I hope that I'm able to keep this clean without getting an infection. We had an amazing experience! Three of us got pedicures and I had a manicure that they did at the same time. Everything was in sanitary bags and fresh products. The gentleman was very gentle with my unkept cuticles and buffed and filed well. They let us hang out while we dried and enjoyed the massage chairs. Great find while on vacation! read more

First and last experience; I paid $170 for a gel white chrome manicure & pedicure. I had two different techs working on me. The tech who did my mani DID NOT use the right gel polish which lead to them cracking then my real nails breaking underneath. I went back so they could fix the job. They rushed me out and my nails cracked again. They cut costs by using non gel products then telling you it's "gel". I've been to plenty salons and gel doesn't crack when done right.
