First and foremost, as we discovered, parking is in the back. Second, the formal diningroom had apparently been closed for years, meaning that that all business is conducted in the bar area, which also has slot machines and pool tables. There is also a very prominent sign saying 21 YEARS OR OLDER ONLY! We confirmed that if you have children, the only option is takeout. This is NOT a family-friendly restaurant! We ordered the egg rolls, orange chicken, and mongolian beef. The egg rolls were nothing to write home about; However, the entrees were both amazing and worth coming back for. The portions were large, and the price was reasonable. Both also came with a side of rice. The only reason I couldn't give this place a fifth star is because the menu lists the price of wine as $6.00/glass, yet we were charged $7.75 each. The remainder of our order was billed correctly. This won't stop me from recommending this place or coming back in the future. Hopefully they are able to reopen the dining room at some point so that we bring our kids.

Even when we said thank you to him, he didn't even acknowledge us. I have been a loyal customer 4 8 years after this experience, I will not be returning until they train their staff on better customer service or this guy is no longer working there. Perhaps I'm just very accustomed to the places I used to eat at, in another state, and just long for what I'm used to expecting/eating. Also, I don't know if this an "Oregon thing", but I've never had Chow Mein with crunchy noodles, so I'm glad the person that took my order made this distinction for me and suggested Lo Mein instead. I realize that when you visit a new restaurant, it's all about learning what you like or don't like, and over time you develop your favorite items to order.
