Arrived for pick up, they told me my order wasn't ready then when they gave me the food it was cold. and the Food wasn't a disappointment.

Good food, friendly but quiet employees sometimes. Decent prices. I had one time where they made mistake, they remade order and apologized for it. Otherwise they have been on top of it since. Do wish their white rice portions were the sizes of competitors though. read more

First of all, let me give you all a little background on the ownership at Jade's garden. The original owners did things right and the food was great. They moved back to China and sold to an owner that was horrible (which is a reflection of the older yelp reviews). This guy didn't last long till he sold to the current owners. They are a nice couple and their two children help them run the family business. They live in town and are always friendly. They don't skimp and overcharge like the last owner. I think they should have changed the name to avoid confusion about ownership to be honest. The food : We usually order the chicken and broccoli, shrimp egg foo young and shrimp and broccoli when we go in. It is always a full plate and tastes great! We always have leftovers to take home and enjoy later. The teriyaki beef is also one of our favorites. Recommended and already return often. read more

i'm not sure how other people like their chinese food but for over 30 plus years i never in my life received my egg foo young separate i don't like the fact that the gravy is too dark and too salty this is my third attempt to support this restaurant.i don't like how they friday rice i already spoke with management rice is not supposed to be orange egg foo young is supposed to be with the gravy not separated from the gravy. every time i buy rice from them half of the rice is crunchy. i have been driving to aurora illinois 411 years i will continue to do that.i spoke with management i did inform them that i will be giving them a review on here. read more

I've heard good things about this place, but unfortunately my meal wasn't that good. I'll start with something positive, the portions were huge for the price. I could taste the oil in everything and it seemed like the fryer oil was old. The general tso's chicken wasn't crispy and it was really sweet. I didn't even finish it. I ordered the Orange Chicken with rice And an eggroll. WORST Chinese food I ever had. The chicken was dry and tuff. The egg roll tasted old. The rice was ok. Got Jade's Garden on a whim thinking maybe things have changed... well they sure haven't. I ordered the sesame chicken and I'm not even sure it is chicken? The pieces are hard and some of the pieces are even unchewable. I will not be going again to this place. read more

Worst Chinese food ever. Thought I would try it since I just moved nearby. Well at least I know now never to order from here again. The egg rolls & crab rangoon are just frozen ones that I could have made. Actually Aldi has better ones than what they just gave me. The chicken fried rice was bland & not worth the money. But the worst of all was the Egg Foo Yung!! The gravy tasted like puke. Literally I cant get the taste outta mouth. It's like I just had the stomach flu and have that awful taste. Just no no and NO! Wow, very surprised to read the other reports on Jade's Garden. We come here regularly. The food is always good, service is fast and the prices are very reasonable! My husband has some dietary concerns, and the cook is always willing to accommodate his requests. I especially like the Hunan Beef and Szechuan Shrimp. I had no previous experience with the past owners, but friends of ours who are regulars tell us that the present owners, who took over a few years back, have improved on the food and the service. I did notice that most of the reviews are several years old. We definitely would recommend a visit to this place. read more

Me and my partner have fallen in love with there food. I wasnt impressed the first time, but now I get the right entree: Garlic Delight with black bean sauce. Awsome! But get it real spicy to enjoy the experience. I eat here at least once a week now!! read more

We loved the food with the previous owner and ate there several times a month. Now, I go and order three complete dinners which were the ones we always order but new management. I brought this to a family lunch and was mortified. The food was HORRIBLE. The shrimp were MUSHY ...the chicken breaded tasted pasty and mushy, the vegetables were overcooked. It was the worst I've ever had. I was so embarrassed, The plates went into the garbage and most were hardly touched. Its your avg. chinese joint. Everytime I go there its the same two people working. If you eat-in they serve you free hot tea. Fast service.

New owner in the last month or so. The old owner was one of a very few who made Hong Su Shrimp and they did it well. I preferred mine with dark sauce and the cook was always happy to customize it for me. The new owner took that off the menu. In fact, he didn't even know what it was. So, I ordered a lunch special of fried rice, egg foo young and egg roll. I have to say, the egg roll was the worst one I've ever had. First bite really turned me off, but I tried one more just to make sure. Yep - it was bad, so tossed it. Also, they gave me duck sauce instead of sweet and sour and didn't like that at all. The fried rice and egg foo young was just ok. The sauce was nothing to brag about and it all was kind of greasy. I had a lot left after I had it for lunch, reheated it for dinner and was still unimpressed. I drive past a couple of Chinese restaurants on the way to this one and don't see myself eating there again when I can eat fairly OK food closer to home. read more
