Ian also explained the insurance limitations for a level 3 backup when the homeowner insurance as written neglects to reference the HOA master policy. Overall EC Restoration works better with homeowners than the big national water remediators, which is why our adjuster uses this business. We are lucky to have them for this (hopefully) once in a lifetime event.

It took 3 weeks to come to an agreement, but after the Wright restoration guys started, it was smooth sailing! One day, Bill came with his 14 year old son Logan, who had gotten his working papers. They were kind nice to bring the heater over, but the waiting time is ridiculous. They have claimed that they would start the project by Halloween and finishing it up by November. NOPE. December came, they were at my house for two weeks, but they did not complete the job. They left the mess outside of the backyard and my son fell onto their materials in the basement that they have left. I was so livid and threw them away at the front of the house. They have the audacity to say that the project is completed but I sent the pictures to insurance, they are dealing with them. They came by February to pick up the materials outside of the house which was hazardous because of insulation and dry walls. They could not because it was so cold and they froze into the ground. They came by again to shovel them out of the ground. A huge mess. They should be removed from their suggested list. By the way, it's May 2026, and they are not even here yet to complete the project. The claim with the insurance company is still open and if you were stuck with them, make sure insurance pays them directly so you don't have to deal with this!
