Unfortunately, the insurance company played a lot of games and I was only able to hire Jim for the job a year latter. In June after re quoting the job in May But No surprise there with tariffs And inflation? It did go up, but not nearly as bad as I was afraid. I told Jim I didn't want him to start till the tree surgeons had cut down all the other giant trees. I didn't want any more things falling on the House. And so he showed up 2 days after the tree guys perfect timing. And his guys completed the job in 3 days. First of all, it's lasted through some hellacious rainstorms. And now that I have gutters and everything's well ordered and set up. I had no water in my basement. There were no leaks in the roof, Of course that's what you expect, but life has taught me that that's not what you always get, but it did the job perfectly one less worry off my mind. Jim's men worked quickly and professionally in the incredibly hot weather, I was impressed at the effort they put out. The craftsmanship was first class as this house had been reroofed in 1980 and everything else was from 1946 a bit worn. So there was a lot of little. Things that needed to be straightened out and righted. When he was finished. Everything looked fantastic, all the soffits and fascia. And gutters and downspouts match the actual color of the house better than I could even hoped. And. When they were done, everything was cleaned up. There was no debris or nails or things like that floating around. So I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the craftsmanship was extremely neat, They also had to replace some siding. And. You wouldn't even know it was not ceader but fiber cement. The other positive as my house took other damage from the Tree and after dealing with a bunch of contractors to replace a porch and a. Garage. I can say Jim shows up on time. He's professional. His quotes are reasonable and he is easy to work and does what he says. more so than anyone else I've dealt with in the last year and a half.
