Great food and service was ok. Portions are huge and we ordered more than we could eat between the 4 of us.

Rabbokki with fish cake, fried mini mandoo and gimari (fried seaweed roll with clear noodle filling) on the side.

I am so glad we voted to come here bc I was in the mood for some bossam (tender/boiled pork belly) with friends who inspire me to level up my food and drink game... and here we are. I enjoyed everything we ordered (via table tablet), the ttteok (rice cake) had the perfect soft/chew, both sauce and kimchi jjigae were flavored to my liking, and I kept grazing while my (low-ish) spice tolerance was struggling by every savory chew.. so I toggled between the fresh banchan, purple rice, tender slices of bossam, and shots of cold soju (to help forget my tastebuds embered into a small fire), without losing face in front of my spice-tolerant friends. I don't think they noticed... Service was fast and friendly, and the vibe all around was energetic but not deafeningly loud... like I didn't have to shout at my friends. We parked on the street bc the lot was full. This place was busy, and I can see why! Will definitely come back here again (& would not be opposed if we ordered the same things).

This is the place to get late night Korean food and drinks! I loved all the neon lights! There's stickers all over their walls and sharpies at their tables! You order everything from the tablets at the table. It makes it convenient to scroll and check out the menu options. We ordered the cheese corn, garlic shoyu wings and kimchi pancake. The portions are pretty big and it comes with banchan, so I suggest bringing a group or it's nice to have leftovers. The service was so fast! I honestly like everything we ordered! The cheese corn is perfect for videos to show off the cheese pull and it's delicious. The garlic shoyu chicken wings had so much flavor and the kimchi pancake was perfect! I'm happy to find another Korean food place to eat that's open after 8PM. I'll be back!

Came here for the first time in years. The restaurant definitely changed and is more upbeat. We ordered the Kalbi, Corn Cheese, 1/2 order of Bossam, Kimbap, Kimchi Jeon, and Meat Jun. Everything came out fast and freshly cooked to perfection. Every dish was flavorful and delicious. I wish the Bossam came with more veggies because the meat to veggie ratio wasn't near equal. They don't have white rice here and only have purple rice which tastes fine. Overall, a bit pricey, but food quality and portions are excellent. Staff are fast and super friendly. Lots of tables to dine at. Parking lot is a bit small.

Love the atmosphere! Fun lighting and touchscreen for ordering, as well as decor throughout the restaurant. Has its own unique personality and character, and service was good. Food was flavorful and shareable amongst the four of us. I can definitely see why it's a popular spot!

Always great food whenever we come here! They changed their ordering system so you can now order in an iPad instead of having a waiter come to your table. Portions are huge so I always have to wait for at least 2 people to join me to make the trip here worthwhile as the food is best when eaten at the restaurant. My favorite dishes has to be the rabokki and the bossam.

I loved it omg. The ahjumma who helped us was so sweet and I loved practicing my very limited Korean phrases to her lol. Once I stepped in it felt like I was transported back to a restaurant/bar/pub in Korea. The Bossam was the big star of the show. Meat was so tender and the vegetables were so fresh. Super delicious and definitely enough to feed two people comfortably. Their soft tofu soup was standard, but honestly I have tasted better ones at my other fave Korean restaurants, so I'd pass on the soup. Everything else was amazing though! Definitely want to come back and try the other items!

Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got around to it. They have a very small seating and an electronic waiting list, which made it easy to sign up. When you get inside, they see you at a table and everything is electronic when ordering. We wanted to try a bunch of things and the portion sizes were huge. We definitely walked away with leftovers. Loved that they gave banchan before the meal. The Rose tteokbokki was the best item on the menu it was so flavorful and not something I would typically order, but we loved it. The Bossam was fresh and the pork was tender it made for great leftovers too. The chive pancake was delicious, but wasn't a must try with how big everything else was. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Jagalchi is hands down my favorite go-to Korean spot. They're open late, which already makes it elite, but the vibes seal the deal. It's trendy, dark-lit, colorful, and gives full Korean bar energy -- neon lights, funky decor, and that lively 분위기 where you want to grab a beer and stay awhile. I highly recommend making reservations or getting there early to put your name on the list. It fills up fast, especially late night and on weekends. My must-orders every time: Pork bossam Meat jeon Some version of their fried pancake (seafood or chives -- you really can't go wrong) There's a parking lot out front, but it gets packed quickly, so plan accordingly and show up a little early. If you're looking for a fun, late-night Korean spot with solid food and great energy, this is it.

Ordered take-out because I was craving Korean food. I didn't want to dine in because I wasn't sure of the vibes, but after stepping in I think I would actually consider dining in next time. The ambiance was laid back and cozy. There was a nice "private" area for a group of people to the side. The workers were attentive and friendly. And the food was so good! It was definitely worth the money to me. I would love to come back and try new stuff next time!

This is a newer Korean restaurant spot and it's definitely worth a try! The restaurant itself is very small, so limited seating. The parking lot is also small and you probably want to be using a smaller car to fit in stalls. I have visited this spot twice and both times were at opening times, so I got fortunate that both times wasn't busy. The food comes out pretty quickly. We ordered a variety of appetizers to start and then shared a stew and a platter of meat. The fried mandoo is a fave for me, along with the cheesy corn go appetizers! The banchans were great and we got refills for our banchans! For the main entree we ordered a platter of pork belly and pigs feet sliced up. The platter comes out cold, which I don't care for but the flavors and softness of the meat were good. If I could choose to have it come out hot I would have enjoyed it much more! I will definitely come back again to try more items on the menu!

Call for reservations! The wait time can be busy on a weekend evening. There is also an online waitlist you can join before you arrive. The kalbi was soooo good! I wish I ordered a full order. The rose tteokboki was also delicious. Next time, I'd probably skip the fried chicken. It was good, but nothing stand out-ish. I would also skip the corn cheese. It's pretty expensive for just corn and cheese... Love that you can order half orders of the main meats! A pretty small place so not the best for a large group, but call in advance to see if they can accommodate.

This place is an absolute TREASURE!!! Absolutely MFing treasure!!!!. If you are picky, have multiple allergies, or plan to substitute and modify dishes, this may not be the right place for you. Thus food is meant to be enjoyed as it appears on the menu. Out cost was $76 without tip. We did tip 20% for a lunch time trip. We are two people. We could of Totally taken our 3 pre teen boys to eat today since we did order so much food. So the spicy garlic wings are life changing. Like life changing hella good. The Kalbi was delicious. We did order the full plate instead of the half. I could have used a little more crisp and caramelization/char on them, but that's a personal preference. But so good. The chive jeon was so delicious. We can never not order his! Perfect!! The kimbab was very good!!!! Portions are hefty and the two of us could have fed three more for sure. The vibe is great, plenty of seating for being downtown .

So many of the Korean restaurants in Honolulu have servers who are actually mean to the customers and we now refuse to give them our dining dollars. The more modern Korean restaurants are providing much better customer experiences so that a customer becomes a life-long customer who spreads the word to family and friends and who keeps coming back for life. Does anyone remember the "Angry Korean Auntie" who used to run her restaurant like Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi'? That is the kind of service that we try to avoid now regardless of food quality. The atmosphere here is elegant and welcoming and the food is excellent and the ban chans served here are better than any other Korean restaurant in Honolulu. We enjoy coming here and never smell like BBQ when we leave, LOL, due to efficient fans and AC's. Their marinated Kalbi is some of the best I have every had, way better than any LA Kalbi and we recommend it. All the soups are good and generous.

The lot is small but there's also another small lot at the back of the restaurant. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because I'm in a wheelchair and we parked in the handicap stall. The attendant was nice and held my door open as my husband helped me out. Nice right? The lot was pretty empty when we arrived and left. But when we got out of the restaurant, there was a car parked in the accessible aisle next to our car. The attendant smiled at us as we approached it car. I know it wasn't the car owners fault, the attendant likely motioned to have them park there. Everytime we try to go, the lot is usually full and I notice there's always a car parked in the accessibility aisle. And yes , I reported it to the DOJ. police likely wouldn't respond so it's not worth calling them. FOOD- The banchan is always delicious and plentiful. My boys go back and forth between the oxtail stew , galbitang and the short rib stew. One day we'll try the bbq dishes. I got the seafood pancake and mul naengmyun. All delicious! Is this what food in Korea tastes like??!! No pics of my son's food cuz he eats so dang fast!

We were told the waiter was the owner, must be under a new owner and if that's true, his behavior was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend eating somewhere where you're made to feel like an inconvenience. My soon do bu tofu soup was literally thrown onto the table, causing some of it to spilt over on the side. We were not given enough chopsticks, and when we asked for straws because the ones we had broke, his attitude became even worse. He started slamming things around, and when we tried to get his attention, he clearly heard us, laughed, said something under his breath and walked away. Thankfully, the other person working with him came over and helped us. At that point, I couldn't even enjoy my food because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome we felt. I ended up asking for my food to be packed to go. The overall atmosphere felt extremely toxic, rude, and unwelcoming. What made it even more disappointing was that we were there during a time when it wasn't even busy. I will not be returning, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.
