I just had my A/C serviced at Jaguar North Scottsdale. My amazing Service Advisor was Brandon aka Christopher Gallegos and the Service Technician was John Holguin. Both Brandon and John went above and beyond to make sure my A/C was working great, cleaned/sanitized the system and new filters. From the moment I spoke with Brandon Gallegos...he was warm, helpful, understanding and got me an appt ASAP. Brandon also kept me updated with regular emails, and stayed in touch the whole time. Such a fantastic experience at Jaquar North Scottsdale. My husband and I were undecided on whether or not to purchase a new car. Honestly, we were just browsing, then Jacob Andrew shows up with his sweet voice, asking if we needed any help. He noticed we were looking at the Tesla Model S in red, and boy, and this car is a beauty. Jacob gently guided us to his desk and went to work. In three hours, we were sitting in with the beautiful Terres Martori signing documents. Terres made the transition experience with honestly and comfort. Although my jaguar has been in for service at least 4 times in the last 3 months - I have to say, Jaguar has been absolutely wonderful with me. They even sent a flat bed tow truck to pick my car up during one of the engine light emergencies. This was amazing because it saved me a three hour drive. Recently, the engine light came up again and I had to take my car in for service - again. John Quinones was my service guy and I can not even begin to tell you how amazing this man was. He got me a rental car, he took excellent care of my car, he gave me updates everyday - he was just beyond exceptional. Jaguar North Scottsdale (JNS) Penske Automotive Group - 06 Jaguar S Type 3.0 Initial Problem: GAS GAUGE not functioning - Needle stays on empty. The second problem was created while in the possession of JNS. The second problem was never identified, nor fixed. 6/27/2023 - JNS completed diagnostic assessment. Finding: "fuel pump/senders somehow became dislodged". Received invoice for $510, paid immediately. Provided an estimate to repair "fuel pump/senders somehow became dislodged" - $3,994.36. Same day, I intended to drive the car home prior to gas gauge repair. I was given the key to my car, started forward and the car would not accelerate - basically "limp mode". I returned to the service department, explained the new problem, and stated clearly that this condition did not exist prior to the diagnostic service provided by JNS. The Service Advisor requested I leave the car to determine why I had this new problem. It was unsafe to drive. 6/29/2023 - I called and informed the Service Advisor, in addition to finding out why my car had this new problem, I authorized JNS to repair the GAS GAUGE problem. 7/10/2023 - Received call from the Service Advisor stating the GAS GAUGE problem was resolved. However, "When the technician went for a test drive, he experienced what you did with the loss of performance." Additionally, the Service Advisor sent me an email stating "Not sure what could have happened, but we will get to the bottom of it. The technician was reminded that the first time the issue occurred was after the diagnostic. I will let you know what we determine tomorrow." 7/14/2023 - Email from Service Advisor "Shop foreman and service technician are stumped". Shop foreman thinks it could be a problem with an "aftermarket coil packs, but not100% sure". In good faith, I provided service repair history on the car to help with the problem determination. Service Advisor "I am amazed as you are that they have not been able to figure this out yet. I spoke to my service director on it as well. I appreciate your patience and assure you I am doing everything within my ability to push this along." 7/14/2023 - Phone call from Service Advisor Carlos Barela "Mr. Barela then told me JNS would not work on a vehicle that was previously serviced at another vehicle repair garage. The quality of parts installed by another service provider is in question. The senior service technician told Mr. Barela "I would not recommend we work on a vehicle previously serviced by another repair garage." At the end of this conversation, Mr. Barela stated that I should have my car towed to my prior service provider because my car is not safe to drive on the public highway and have them correct the problem. In other words, JNS did not fix the problem that arose after the initial diagnosis. 7/18/2023 - GAS Gauge repair paid in full $3,741.81. Several attempts were made to get JNS Senior Management involved to assess the new problem. 7/19/2023 - I received an email from SVP, Human Resources and Legal Counsel: "We reserve the right to decline service when we are not reasonably confident in our ability to identify and resolve a customer's issues. This is one such case where we have to exercise that right. This is because the vehicle has had a number of aftermarkets, unapproved parts installed on it. Our factory-trained technicians have reviewed this vehicle and do not have confidence they can fix this issue. We do not have an obligation to service your vehicle, and it would be unethical for us to do so when we do not believe we can fix it. While I regret we will not be able to assist you, this is our final position on the issue." This statement does not identify specifically what the problem is, assumes there are outside influences causing the problem, and basically just told me to take a hike. 7/26/2023 - My vehicle was towed to another service provider to resolve the problem. Bottomline: JNS had my car for 29 days, a second problem arouse while in JNS possession, JNS could never identify what the problem was, speculated some other mysterious component was causing the problem and basically said to hell with customer service, get your car off our property. Finally, JNS never asked me when I took the car in for servicing if the car had been serviced by anyone else or if any part on my vehicle was an "unapproved" JNS part. read more

My car has been in for service 8 times - 6 of the visits were for same problem. The GM Mark Soendley is RUDE DISRESPECTFUL AND INSULTING he shared with me raising his voice "I'm from Lexus and I never had these problems, you bought the car" he then said - "I don't care how many times you have this car in my service, corporate pays it's all warranty!" He refused to listen told the advocate Jelani White from LRNA customer relations he's not longer allowed to be my advocate, she's the problem! LRNA you have the wrong person in the seat to lead a team, for customer care and represent your company - my car is a 2020 with under 2000k miles - replaced computer cluster panel - struts - under arm control panels(TWICE) drained all the glycol out of the rear hydro bushing HOOD VENT replaced - returned my car with with rim rash - replaced the panel to the passenger door did not close properly chipped the paint - repainted the door - my service representative Carlos B is AWESOME - kind caring apologized!!! Updating as of 7/6/20. One thing after another, today the last straw has me updating a Yelp review, of all things. When I bought the car, I mentioned to the salesman I noticed a slight rattle on startup, nothing worrying but still something. Was assured I'd be taken care of if something happened, bought the $3,000 extended warranty - fine. A couple weeks later I make the 45 minute drive back there after having scheduled an inspection upon realizing I had an oil leak as well as the rattle worsening. Not only did they not actually have my appointment penned in, the service tech couldn't be bothered to look at it for more than 10 minutes. I was also rhetorically asked, "It's not a new car, what do you expect?" They also claimed they couldn't reproduce the rattling noise - which sounds like a loose exhaust pipe or material debris in the catalytic converter and happens when you slightly depress the accelerator. I sat in the parking lot for 5 minutes recreating the obnoxious noise before taking my sorry self home in a rattling, oil leaking Cadillac. I have this noise on video, too, to which I was told it 'sounds normal!' Today, as eluded to above, saw my last modicum of patience for this situation absolved. I went to renew the registration on another vehicle of mine and saw that the Arizona MVD received paperwork for this car as of 6/25/20 - a month and one week past the date I bought the car. I'm unable to drive it for risk of being ticketed, as the temporary plate is expired, and I'm simply lucky I have another vehicle to drive in the meantime. I understand that I bought a used car from an otherwise high-end dealership, with clientele that typically match its caliber. What I don't understand is that I received far more amicable service from an AutoNation service center with my Ford (that made it WORTH the 45 minute drive) than I wound up receiving here after they had my money. While driving from Sedona to Los Angeles my 2011 Jaguar XF with 73,00 miles warning light came on half way to Scottsdale. I called my Jaguar mechanic in Culver City CA and he told me the that the warning light indicated that the ALTERNATOR had failed and that I should stop the car at the nearest garage and put in a new alternator. Eventually the car came to a complete stop. A $500 tow took me to Jaguar North Scottsdale. I told them that the problem was the ALTERNATOR They insisted it was not the ALTERNATOR and had to check the engine. etc. They said it might cost between 4 and 6 thousand dollars to repair and might even need a new engine. They also recommended a new coolant system and a new tire. They did correctly diagnosed a defective thermostat which prevented coolant from getting into the engine. The car was brought in on a Wednesday, we just wanted to get on our way and return to LA. They had other ideas and told us they would not be able to get to the car until next week. We rented a car from Hertz on Thursday and drove 6 hours to our home in Los Angeles. I had shown the service rep our extended warrant and he told us it probably wouldn't be of value to fix our car. The next week I called him and and was told that insurance companies are very slow. I called the warranty company and they told me that no one had contacted them. I then found out he had called the wrong warranty company. My warranty company sent an inspector the next day and said the thermostat was the problem and was not a covered part. However Jaguar still had not identified that the ALTERNATOR which was a covered part was the problem. I had the car towed to Mitchells British Automotive Co. in Culver City. They repaired the car in 2 days and we had it for the weekend. Ion Mitchell contacted the correct warranty company and the cost of the ALTERNATOR was covered by them. What I learned from this experience is that NEVER take your car to the agency when it is out of warranty. I t seems that they only want to do as much work on the car as they can and drive up the bill to many thousands of dollars. Mr. Mitchell has 20 Master Mechanic degrees posted on his wall and used to work for a Los Angeles Jaguar agency but quit when he found out how they inflated the costs and recommend work that was not needed. Revised Posting After the original posting and contacting the regional VP, I had a call from the NEW GM of North Scottsdale who was NOT aware of the non-transaction that took place. He was as confused as I as how this business transaction could have taken place. He did sound sincere and did want to get to the heart of this matter. In short, I was convinced this was NOT going to be the way the new GM was going to run this dealership and my wife and I came back and purchased the car. I took my jaguar for repairs to the dealer. I am always very hesitant to take my car to the dealer since they have such huge overhead and need to sell to make and meet their margins. Usually if it is covered by manufacturer I will go to the dealer- the only exception is John DePalma at Peter Pan BMW in Burlingame. I took my Jag in and there were no warning lights coming on. They give it back to me and there are lights that go on and the explanation was that your 'sensors' failed. Well, I must look like an idiot, because when I took it in there were no lights, it just happened to fail when it was in the shop? They also recommended a 7 repairs that when I took it to a second shop said I needed ONE of the 7. Last time I will take my car here. Even better, last time I will ever buy a Jaguar. Since I bought the Jaguar I have bought 4 BMWs, an Audi R8, a Tesla and an Acura and collectively the other 7 cars have not needed as much repairs as my 2010 Jag. Will not buy any Acuras or Jags going forward. The people were nice, in particular the lady who gave me the loaners. read more

I will NEVER own a Jaguar again. Had a beautiful XF with only 34K miles and needed a new engine. Jaguar basically said oh well!!! 20k to fix a car with so little miles. JD in service tried to help but ultimatley Jaguar cares less about taking care of their customers! Stay away!!! read more

Excellent Service! I am not easily impressed, especially when it comes to car dealerships. I can honestly say I have only been happy with one in my entire life. That was a BMW dealership in Charlotte, NC. I was happy but not elated. The dough-nuts were good enough, etc but I just did not have a warm fuzzy feeling. They did what they were supposed to and that is where everything ended. Fast forward BMW number two, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and finally a Jaguar X-Type and move over to AZ. Otherwise known as the present. When first moving to AZ I was a bit annoyed because the only Jag dealership was in N. Scottsdale. I was very spoiled in Charlotte as it was 2 blocks from my home there. And other than close is was pretty much a snooze going there. So I reluctantly went to N Scottsdale a few times and was slow to warm up but eventually did. The best thing the dealership could have done was hire a service technician named Dan M. Dan does such a good job you would think he owned the place or at least has a steak in the year end profits. Dan IS what makes this place. He always makes sure I don't over spend and is always fair. I don't recall ever being up-sold or feeling pressure to get rid of my 2004 model. I get treated (in my opinion) just as I would if I had a 2012 model. Did I mention I got my car for a NON-Jag place? Yup...and they are awesome about honoring my warranty. People, this is as good as service can get. I recommend you get a Jag just so you can get treated the way a customer should be treated for a change. I myself will be replacing my car by the end of this year and I was honestly going to go back to BMW but based on the great experience I have had at Jag I have decided to make my next purchase the XF. I saw that it really is a great car and by doing this I will get to come back for more jaw dropping service. ....Last visit was today. I had a damaged wheel. It could have been a $600+ bill easily for the one tire but Dan was able to have the tire inspected by a service they use and get it fixed for $150. Now that is awesome. And he happened to have a delicious looking box of French mini pastries and I could not resist but to ask for one. He was happy to share and told me to have as many as I liked; I opted for one since swimsuit season is around the corner. Then, then, then offered to wash poor Jane (the car), she was a mess. The Jaguar product is as good as it gets in its class. The XJ is the most exciting and sexy car in its class. Too bad the dealership is not able to sell this wonderful product and finance it as well as other car manufacturers. More expensive MB and BMW's require smaller monthly payments. These above comments are product related, however, and not specific to Scottsdale Jag. My personal disappointment with this dealership is its lack of communication, lack of honest communication during the sales and financing process. What's worse is after I bought a car from another dealership, the salesperson called the dealership and tried to kill my sale. Really? This is totally outrageous. What kind of person would do this? Do you want to do business with a dealership who is doing this type of thing? Also, when I went on a test drive with one of the sales people, I engaged detailed discussion about the car and the financing and he claimed to not know anything about it. I am not a car salesman, and even I knew the answers. If you are in the car business every day for 10 years, you should know some basic and detailed information about the deal. This salesperson was either 1) lying, or 2) incredibly ignorant about his business. Either way, not good. Silly me I thought I was suppose to bring in my car for free service every 14,000 miles but found out to get it free service it has to be serviced every 12 months regardless of mileage and of course it was more than a year since my last service. Don't suppose covid had any impact on that or at least people at dealership didn't consider that. This is supposedly a high end world class car and dealership as well. You'd think with all the communication tools at their disposal like e-mail, text, even snail mail and contact you with a reminder as a courtesy. Well they don't. When I suggested this to the service advisor she acted like I had 3 eyes in my head. On the 2nd level its really dumb dumb dumb not to send reminders. Service costs $1000. Even only 10 people more a month come in to have service because of the reminder would increase their annual income by $120,000 just for sending out some stupid stinking reminder as well as avoiding upsetting customers. I dropped my car off yesterday and I waited in line for an advisor, which makes sense. Same thing today when all I was doing was picking the vehicle up. Somebody managing that department really needs to wake up. Like set something up that allows customers that are there to pick up vehicles or pay for repairs already completed to be in one line and those needing repairs in another line. Probably the easiest buying experience I've ever had! The GM Mark, Sales Jimmy and Jake and Raad in Finance, made this fast and simple. People can spend hours at the dealership purchasing an auto. Just want to say what a wonderful experience my last service visit was, thanks to Don. I found out the warranty had expired on my car and I had several small things that would fall under my warranty had it been active. He was very helpful and kept calm while i began to rant. I didn't realize that although my car had low miles it had expired. Don helped get all 3 things taken care of and at no cost to me. He also gave me a discount on my oil change! It's been quite some time since I've reviewed any businesses and I feel it's time to start again. There are too many people who go out of their way to complain about the little things and not enough who praise or commend the things that matter most. Even the best have their worst days so I want to make a point to recognize and praise all of those who make my day a little better. Let's start with Jack at North Scottsdale Jaguar. Jack had that strong east coast(where I'm originally from) accent with the west coast vibe about him. Straight to the point, calm and collected, and knows his Jags. I have been in the dealership a couple times this week alone attempting to pick the perfect car and he has gone out of his way to email me all info I ask for, call me with updates when he says he's going to call, and has stayed later than he should to accommodate my indecisive pain-in-the-butt self. No pressure at all and that makes you want to give them your business even more. I think we finally found the right car and I couldn't be happier with my experience thus far. Either way, my next vehicle purchase will be from here and I'm looking forward to it. Quick note. We called ahead and scheduled a test drive. We arrived after driving an hour to get there and receptionist said that Brad was expecting us and would be back. We waited over 25 minutes and nobody came and offered to show us the car. Nobody even noticed we left. Very disappointed. And most likely would have left in a new Jaguar SUV today. This is disappointing. I like the dealership and location, but take issue with how they put profits over customers. First, they required a $600 LoJack option, so I ordered my second (wife's) Jaguar from a different dealership for a better price. Then I had a CO2 sensor issue while under warranty in my car. At that time they said it only needed to update the module. I didn't get it done at that time. My wife's Jag has the same issue and the module update solved it. Then after my car was out of warranty I had the CO2 issue again. Now that it is out of warranty they said it needs the update AND two sensors that were completely failing for $1,400. I had them just update the module...low and behold...problem solved. Forcing required dealer add on option costs, faking repair needs, and trying to take advantage of customers just solidifies why I'll be buying and now servicing my car somewhere else. It's too bad because it's a great facility and location with some nice people. read more

This should have been a 4-5 star review if they did not promise to deliver my key. I bought a used vehicle from this dealer and the experience was good. It was fast and the negotiation went well. The dealer was very good and professional. My car only cam with 1 key so I asked if it was possible to get the other one from the previous owner since he was a customer there. The sale guy promised that he will contact with the previous and have my key deliver within a month. Now it is 9 months now and still no key. If they did not promise for the key, I would be fine. Instead, every time I contacted the sale guy, he always says that the owner will come by and I will get my key soon. Be aware of their promises if you buy from this dealer. read more

I flew to the Mesa airport and Todd had a car waiting to bring me to the dealership. Todd described the car perfectly, I felt really good about the transaction and Jaguar North Scottsdale. I am a 70 year young woman who stepped out of her confort zone, my dream car is everything I wanted. My First Service Visit After Purchasing Vehicle from Jaguar of North Scottsdale: I made an appointment with Shaun Moss at 10:00am to get my 2012 JaguarXJ service. I had purchased this automobile in July of 2015. Calen Arminjo had sold the vehicle to me. Mr. Moss had all of his tattooing covered, save one. He also had his motorcycle helmet on his filing cabinet. Confidence builder? Maybe the Triple Ds in Scottsdale like that. I don't know. Anyway, apparently, the appointments are just guidelines. My vehicle was at their door at 10:00am. I didn't actually sit down with Mr. Moss until 17 minutes after 10. The first quote that he put in front of me was the estimate for the 4 year service. It was for $484. That wasn't the reason that promulgated the service call. The reason that I brought the Jaguar in was for a parking sensor that had been pushed through the front bumper. The quote to address that was presented only after I asked whether the sensor would be covered by the warranty. It would not be covered by the warranty. Apparently, that was my fault. The quote for pulling that back through the bumper(labor) was $165 plus any parts required. I authorized this as Mr. Moss didn't seem invested in my satisfaction to keep my business. Perhaps if I was a size 2 female with large breasts he would have been motivated. Who knows? However, I declined to authorize the 4 year service until I knew the final cost on the sensor. According to Mr. Moss, I would hear from him this afternoon on that. I was given a loaner and was left to wait. The service here is always great. Everyone is so polite and accommodating. We arrived early but my car was sent in and my daughter and I were treated to lunch in the Penske Cafe while we were waiting. Jaguar North Scottsdale provides such great service. We were in town on vacation when our F-Type Check Engine light came on. I called and spoke with Erik the Service Adviser. He was professional and very friendly. He told me to bring it in the next morning at 7:30am and they would check it out. We had a couple of great cappuccinos and also breakfast on the dealership over at the Penske Museum Cafe. In about 2 hours the car was ready and washed. Minor issue with the gas cap and we were on our way! Erik is an incredible person and genuine in every way. This dealership is fortunate to have someone like that. We wished we lived closer to bring our car here all the time! read more

Recently brought a used Porsche 997 C2S cabriolet these guys. They arranged shipping of my old Porsche from Northen Cali to Scottsdale and delivery of the 997 back here. I worked with Josh througout the process and he made the whole transaction easy. There were a couple of issues with the car when it was delivered (it was 6 years old) but these guys told me to get them fixed locally and sent me a cheque to cover tyhe cost.
