I recently purchase a Tesla Model S from JLR Reno and would like to share my experience. I first contacted them via their website and Van reached out within a day. This was one of the few dealers that respectfully answered questions I had instead of overlooking half of them to ask other unnecessary questions. We had many questions but Van followed up multiple times in a timely manner. He also helped us with a finalized cost estimate prior to closing so we could estimate financing etc (no random added fees at all). When we drove to Reno we had to drop off our car at the airport and Nico helped pick us up right away. He was very friendly and helpful to answer our questions. Did not feel pushy at all. The service was also much better than we had expected, I felt every person in the dealership was friendly, sincere, and most importantly transparent. This kind of this quality is very important for large purchases. Everyone here seem very trustworthy based on my experience! Our Nissan died. When that happened my husband said he'd buy me my dream car. Well he was good on his word and found it at the Jaguar/ Land Rover dealership. He spoke to Grace B and DeAnn and stopped by to look at it person. He then came to pick me up from Carson City, as I just came back from chaperoning a Cheer Trip from Anaheim, California and had been driving all day. I looked semi homeless when I arrived to test drive the vehicle and was still greeted with a kind and respectful nature. The receptionist set us up with a complimentary drink as we waited for Grace to meet with us as she was finishing up with another client. The vehicle was the color I wanted and for being a 2016, it only has 35k miles. I can't buy a new car because of how much it deprecates, so I tend to buy my vehicles a few years older. DeAnn got a dealer plate, gave us the keys and we got to test drive it without a chaperone from the dealership which is a new experience for me. Usually someone comes along from the dealership and yaps in your ear as you try to enjoy a test drive, and I am sure it is for liability reasons. Not once were we pressured to buy from Grace or DeAnn which added to the overall experience. Our test drive was wonderful and so we decided to sign for the vehicle. The whole process was smooth and seamless. Since the vehicle just came into the dealership we'd have to comeback tomorrow so that it could be detailed in their shop and have the maintenance guys make sure that everything was in order before we left with it. We came back the next day and had the joy of walking out with a beautiful vehicle that I simply adore it! My 2022 F-Pace has been in for repair now for two weeks and they still don't know what is wrong. No loaner and no answer as to when they will have it ready. Will two weeks grow to three weeks. The personnel in the service area are friendly but the work isn't getting done. Makes me wish I hadn't purchased a Jaguar. I certainly would not recommend getting a jaguar to anyone else. read more

A deer ran into the side of my car and then the car was towed to Jaguar Reno. Sat there for 10 days before shattered windows were replaced. The glass shards were not cleaned up prior to being sent off for repair. Then out for repairs for 3 months before being returned to me. When returned to me, glass shards still covering the inside of the car. Returned to Jaguar to have glass cleaned up. There was a fault read out on the car, which I was told was not a problem. Well, went in for yearly service when returned and was told it was $225 to check for engine light/fault light. $$$$ later picked up car and the next day engine light came on again. Waiting to hear what is wrong with it now. Will be looking for a new group to service my vehicle. read more

Was in for annual maintenance and had 2 small issues (tire losing pressure and satellite radio not working). When I picked up they said they don't check or do tire repairs ("take it to a tire shop") and that the service tech said "it would take him too long to diagnose the radio issue". A few weeks later my check engine light went on and I called with the diagnostic code ( I live over an hour away) but they said they wouldn't tell me anything as to what it meant (serious or not) and that I had to bring it in. I'll use a different dealer going forward. Not helpful to a long-term customer. read more

So busy, they may not need your business....My husband called Jaguar Reno's Service Department three times, trying to schedule a time to have my XK8 'winterized'; not one message was returned. Glad they have customers to spare. Update: Reno Jaguar did reach out after I posted this review. Bought a used Range Rover. Everyone was professional and friendly. We test drove a few cars with Nico and he spent as much time as we needed reviewing the differences and showing us various options. The price discussions were quick and easy - none of the nonsense I was expecting and absolutely no pressure. Visited 5 or 6 other auto dealers and these guys were the most knowledgable and easiest to work with. Excellent job! read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but every time I order from Jaguar Reno parts department, it is a positive experience. Shipping is always very fast...it seems they usually ship a few hours after I place an order and have it here within two days. Their OEM parts are also the least expensive Jaguar parts around, which certainly helps when you are running a fleet of 3 Jaguars. I find their online diagrams helpful, and in the off chance I can't find a part, their parts reps are extremely helpful in finding it quickly. For instance, on my most recent order their website was down for a few days right after I placed an order. I called and made mention that I was looking to get the parts sooner than later, and the service rep said they would be getting their truck in before the weekend, but everyone's orders would be shipping first thing on Monday. On Friday the parts department called me out of the blue and said they were unloading the truck and that they could ship my parts in the next 15 minutes (right before closing) if I needed them sooner. Shortly after getting off the phone I received an email confirmation that my parts had shipped! Talk about service! I will continue to purchase here and always refer other Jaguar owners to shop here, the experience can't be beat! read more

This review is for service representative,Michael Troedel and Service Manager Phil Shreves. The first time I took my Jaguar XJL to Jaguar Reno to get serviced was on 7/9/2021. I'm currently writing this review on 9/30/21 and I still don't have my vehicle back. I waited over a week for an appointment to fix a slight smoking issue in my car. My appointment was on Monday however my car wasn't looked at until later that week... why make appointments if they don't mean anything? I was told with certainty from Michael that my problem was a minor oil/coolant leak . I paid $1,700 for a new thermostat housing / vacuum pump/ oil change. Upon arrival at Jaguar Reno Michael went over my paperwork of repairs with me and guaranteed my vehicle was fixed and in good condition. This couldn't be further from the truth . After driving my car only 10 miles it began to smoke even worse than before , along with the cabin completely filling with smoke my car went into restricted access, leaving the car inoperable and me stranded on the side of the road . I called Michael immediately and explained my situation asking him if I could bring it back to get looked at again. His answer was "if you want to" like seriously what kind services that. I asked him if they would tow my vehicle and/or provide a courtesy vehicle ... the answer to both those questions you guessed jt NO. So I paid on my own expense to tow my car back to Reno Jaguar. Fast forward OVER A MONTH LATER , no word from Jaguar so I ask for an update. Michael tells me my car now needs a new throttle bottle , okay so I paid another $1,200 for that. A week later I get my car back and GUESS WHAT? That's right STILL SMOKING. When I contact Michael again he asks me to "take a picture of the smoke because it wasn't doing that for him when he drove it". So I did I sent him a picture and video of smoke so bad it comes through my AC vents and once again I'm left stranded with a restricted performance code . Best part is all the sudden Michael goes MIA , won't respond to my messages or answer his phone. This is when I demanded to speak with the service manager, Phil. Phil agrees to tow my car back no charge September 1st. In comes Michael again who repeatedly week after week guarantees me my vehicle will be ready that week(over 3 times , 3 weeks) . He even tells me it's due to his techs being on vacation and on top of that this guy questions me about where I'm getting my price info from because it's wrong . So I send him a picture of the Service Recommendation list HE HIMSELF made and emailed to me . His response " oh shoot those are backwards.. my bad" I have saved all messages with this guy if anyone thinks I'm exaggerating please ask to see the proof. After being lied to multiple times I ask Phil to take responsibility for my car and get it back to me ASAP. He agrees to get on it and tells me sorry for the inconvenience I've been out of the office this week due to a car accident. I don't have any empathy as I myself have a broken leg from a motorcycle accident. He tells me my car will be done early next week. IT WASN'T and STILL ISN'T. Just called Reno Jag to schedule a service appointment for my 2016 Jag. The service is under warranty, I was told I could not bring the vehicle in until it has either 48k miles or its past November 30th, as thats when the vehicle was built. I asked for clarification as I had not previously heard that I could not bring the vehicle in until a certain date, as the car is telling me service is due. The service writer said I could not bring it in until November 30th or wait until the 1st week of November as Jaguar won't pay for it until then. I was shocked, thanked him and promptly called another dealer. I have an appointment October 19th no questions asked. So much for that...I will have to drive much further, but at least I have faith in the shop that I am taking it to. read more

I have had a Mercedes, Lexus, and now a Jag F pace. I've enjoyed all the vehicles but as far as Service departments go Reno Jaguar is by far the worst. For a luxury car service dealer it's very disappointing. read more

Jaguar Land Rover Reno recently hosted a positively sterling SPCA event at their beautiful dealership. The Models and Mutts benefit provided an opportunity to view trendy fashion updates, the gorgeous and gleaming dealership, adorable, adoptable pooches, and great raffle prizes. It was a perfect combination! At this benefit event, I became the lucky raffle prize recipient of an automobile detailing service to be provided at the Jaguar Land Rover Reno dealership. So within a few weeks, my (old) Saturn Vue was scheduled for a "car spa day." The staff at the dealership treated me and my car as though we were a most important duo -- not just lucky prize winners. The old Vue and I are both 100% thrilled with the courteous staff, excellent customer service and feeling of "neighborhood" we experienced at Jaguar Land Rover Reno. My trusty ol' car is gorgeous and I am a very happy camper :) read more

My wife and I stopped by Reno Jaguar ready to buy. We took a test drive and cemented our wish to buy an F Pace Jaguar. Upon completion of the test drive we met inside to give them our contact information and made it clear we were ready to move forward. We wanted an F Pace with upgraded paint. When I asked if there were any rebates...special financing....or military discounts they either acted intentionally ignorant or really did not know. They said they would call us right away as they felt confidant they could locate the car we wanted. That was over a month ago and we have not heard from them. If they could not find a car that fit our request then CALL ME and let me know but do not ignore me. That is just plain rude. I will travel out of state to purchase from another dealer regardless at this point. I would not trust this dealership as it is obvious their word means nothing. read more

Tried to buy a new car here recently and finally got tired of the old school car dealer games. Went down the street and bought a Mercedes. Met with a salesman who proceeded to play the game of going to the man behind the curtain to get pricing and figure out how to scam us. Wow, won't these guys learn that this is an old fashioned and out dated business model. They don't seem to realize that there's something called the INTERNET out there and that any decent consumer will do their research...even on their smartphone while sitting in the dealership. My favorite part is when the salesperson doesn't seem to know about the national promotions that are being advertised or even what pricing is on their own website. What a joke! I called and scheduled an appointment to get my car serviced. One of the repair issues was a broken hood latch cable that was repaired by them last year. I dropped off my car at night and put the keys in the drop box. After two days I stopped by to check on the progress and if there was any other issues. My car is a 2006 XK8 with 56k on it and in very good condition. I was told that they no longer work on any car older than 2007 even though one of the repair items was something that was supposedly repaired by them 1300 miles ago. I was forced to take my car to "Sport Haus" where the appreciated my business. The service dept has always treated me fair - but obviously upper management has a lot of work to do in regards to customer service. read more
