This particular Audi sq5 had safety and MMI dysfunction that Audi of America denied despite evidence to support over 18 months of complaints and recognition of problems by former and current Audi of Reno employees. I broke my lease and took the loss because the impairments were so bad. Happy to be rid of it and have no plans to own an Audi again after this customer last experience. Sad because I have owned four prior to this. Audi of America does not care about you. Be careful. I'm giving Audi of Reno 1 star as I feel they could have done more both before the lease and when I ended it to assist my continuous concerns. Staff was always polite, but at the end of all this, I was a transaction number and now, a lost customer. read more

I have to say that when I bought my latest Audi (I have had an A6 and a TT in the past)...I was a bit concerned/nervous. I had never owned an electric vehicle, much less a ridiculously expensive E-Tron GT...LOL. I guess go big or go home the first time, right. I have had my car in a few times for some recall issues, no major malfunctions, just basics. The staff is always very friendly and easy going. They get you checked in and ask all the right questions and explain everything fully. I do appreciate the real time updates on service. NEVER lease a car from this dealership. Explain to me how a newly leased car with 3992 miles on it, can need new tires, and the dealership that leased it to you says "it has nothing to do with us". I had a pretty major issue with my A3. Brendan in the service department went above and beyond in helping to diagnose the issue and in communicating with Audi to get it covered under warranty. The service Technicians were very nice, however the manager was horribly rude. He offered no apology for a dead Battery on my vehicle when I brought it in for a completely different service. He blamed me for it and I had to pay full product And labor. I will never bring any car into service or buy a car from Them again. Just a great experience today with Josh at Reno Tahoe Audi. I needed to get my car smogged and was told that the attachment under the dashboard had somehow been pushed back and wasn't accessible. Took my Audi A3 Quattro convertible to Reno Tahoe Audi and asked for them to fix that, do an inspection, and rotate the tires. Josh kept in communication through their app and called me a few hours later to say the car was done. When I got there and he gave me the bill, the price was $0.00. I was shocked and though I was a new customer who they probably wanted to have me come back, I really appreciate the effort and service. They even washed and vacuumed the car! read more

Facilities very clean free well organized angel was absolutely amazing to work with but their pricing structure is out of control. I got hit with two separate service fees for two different issues on the vehicle seems a little excessive to me. Total cost was $475 and nothing was done. And they don't even offer to use that diagnostic as a credit if you go with him on repairs. The only time I'd ever go back there again is just to do a diagnostic and find a local mechanic that can perform the duties. They definitely are proud of their name. read more

I have bought and sold many cars in my life, and I will have to say that my buying experience at Audi Reno Tahoe was one of the easiest ever! Ryan and BJ were awesome! Not only did they give me a great deal on a brand new Audi RS5, but they were NOT your typical pushy sales person. I obtained my own financing thru my credit union which they were totally cool with. Most dealerships don't like it when you have your own financing, since that's another revenue generator for them. I greatly appreciate this dealership and highly recommend them. I hate to write negatively, but If you're considering this Audi for repair or any kind of service... I recommend you steer clear of here. All levels of staff including management kept telling my husband "we'll call back in 30 min" or pass the call off to someone else who also seemed to have no time to speak to him. I understand this is the only Audi in the area but the customer service was unruly. I'm a huge fan of Audi but man... this isn't a good look for them. read more

Terrible used car sales experience. Spent time on a listed vehicle and asked for out the door cost. While waiting for pricing, got a message basically saying sorry got busy but my manager's on it. In the morning, got a message saying car just sold this morning. Yeah right. GM offered absolutely nothing to try to make amends for the lousy process, which tells you this dealership thinks people are just fungible. read more

We've purchased 2 Audis over 10 years and I am so pleased with both of them. While I might not sell you on buying a car with them although you should they are amazing. Today my Audi Q5 Hybrid needed a smog test and the smog tester at the smog test location did not know how to start the internal combustion engine so he could pass the vehicle. So I went to Audi Reno, who actually do not conduct smog tests, but appreciating the frustration I was experiencing with smog parties not knowing how to start the engine, Brendan in the service department said "just leave it with me and we will figure it out" and ordered me a prepaid taxi for me back home. 45 minutes later I got a call that he had taken the car out to a smog tester (a third party not on site at Audi - so this took some real effort), had got the pass certificate in my behalf, and in the meantime had also had my car cleaned. Audi Reno charged nothing for this work other than the $30 payment to the third party smog test party. Now that is superb service! Very well done to Audi Reno. Thank you to Brendan. read more

My wife and I were visiting our daughter in Taylorsville California when our Q7 diesel went into a "limp" mode. We had to have A.A.A. tow our car to the Audi dealership in Reno. While the car went on to Reno we stayed behind at our daughters house in Taylorsville. We dealt with the staff there over the phone and they were able to diagnose and repair our car promptly and efficiently. They were also able to provide a way for us to pick up our car after hours when our daughter was able to take us there. We would definitely recommend this dealership and would like to give special thanks not only to the technician Jerry, but also the advisors Colton and Lloyd, and their staff including Laura, Riley, Jennifer and Courtney. I'm going to just say it: Audi Reno Tahoe Service Center is amazing!!! They always take care of their customers. I bought a used Audi Q7 from a dealer in town. After a couple weeks I noticed all kinds of issues. I took it to Audi and they did a full diagnostic AND inspection and found so many things with my car. Thank goodness we bought an extended warranty. Lloyd at Audi dealt with the warranty company for us. He kept us updated on my car. Before I even brought my car in Lloyd helped me fix my rear seat belt. Needless to say I won't take my car anywhere else. The other dealer sold me a car with issues and Audi took care of me. First of all, I absolutely love my SQ5! Definitely my favorite car over 40+ years! Second, service at Audi Reno Tahoe is stellar - I needed new brakes after 4 years. I had purchased the Platinum Extended Warranty that was literally coming to it's end and found that Brakes (well, a portion) were part of that warranty. My warranty, unbeknownst to me was 3rd party. Hats off to Frank Casey who hung in there with me to get coverage, sat on the phone with them for an hour and I paid a third of what I would have paid out of pocket. Very very happy! since I've owned my Audi it's been in the shop more than 6 times. all to be blamed on rodents. now my car must taste pretty fucking amazing. while my other car sits in the drive way right next to the Audi. I was at the service dept a week ago and they blamed rodents for a shredded vaccum line. and surprisingly enough I'm right back here and I got to listen to the dreaded rodent speech given live to an elderly woman. if you ask me it's a crock of shit and their go to save all cop out. they claim to have loaner cars available but every time I bring my car in surprise no loaners. they won't even pay for a rental. I wonder if the 120 points inspection is fraudulent or just the work they do on your car. needless to say I'm disappointed the quality of this dealerships service dept has failed to deliver. so update to my recent trip to Audi Reno Tahoe. was adevised by my service advisor that yes the rodent has struck again in a weeks time this masterful rodent has found my car and has picked the same piece of vaccum line I'm beyond annoyed. So fight the rodent diagnosis. Can't use the same go to bs diagnosis. read more

Called them back approximately 35 minutes later to simply ask the difference between another RS Q8 at another dealership and Landon answered my question and I said I would take the vehicle they had at the MSRP. He then told me I would now need to pay 10k over MSRP. Thank goodness I knew better than to go down to the dealership like they asked so they could waste my time and do it after I made the 90 minute drive. They are the reason car dealers have a bad name.
