Went back and forth until finally they agreed to pay after I requested they listened to the recorded lines to see I was in fact being honest that I was told that. Process took a long time because "certification process" and "detailing" to ensure the vehicle was perfect for me when it arrived. Please see all the photos to see just how "perfect" the vehicle arrived... Was also NOT shown all the discrepancies that I was shown in the video prior to purchase. They clearly hid crucial items that would have deterred me from purchasing the car. Car also arrived with a crooked steering wheel which I'm really hoping is just from needing an alignment which I also have a hard time understanding why they didn't take care of that prior to selling it to me or at least be honest and lmk that prior to purchase. Covers for wireless charging and cupholders are also broken. Had to replace entire center console. Had to put in a new battery as none of the welcome lights were functioning properly and display read battery low. Also had to replace the whole wiper component as the entire thing was broken. Seats INCREDIBLY worn for a vehicle with such low mileage. I wish I had never purchased this vehicle as it was clearly falsely advertised to me and misrepresented. Disappointing for a LCPO I trusted they would have the honesty and integrity to be truthful and straight forward with everything, however; that was not the case. You should really be ashamed for treating a Veteran like this. Especially for a 70k purchase....

I have no idea if that is normal, but it was really helpful as I am not at all tech savvy. Previously I had an appointment that we decided to wait for, rather than drop off an pickup. They made us wait 3 hours with NO communication. I called to check in and they said "We haven't looked at your car yet". What? Why do we make appointments if you don't have time that you allocated for that repair? I expressed my annoyance, so they got right to it. I watched them, guess how long it took to do the repair? 10 minutes. That's right, three hours of my time off work wasted, for 10 minutes of work. Okay, moving on. My car was busted into by junkies, who smashed out the driver side windows of multiple vehicles on our block. I call Luther KIA in Bloomington, and talk to a service representative to get an estimate and schedule an appointment. He gives me an estimate and sets up an appointment to come in and have the glass replaced. A week later I go in for the appointment, and another service representative tells me that the appointment is to get an estimate, I explain I already had one. The new estimate is, surprise! Higher... and they tell me they don't have the part and it will take a week to 10 days to arrive. Once the part arrives, they will call and setup an appointment, which will (Due to being busy) likely take another week. I point out this will places me at 3 weeks with no real window, and likely 4 weeks to have the work done. I tell him I want him to setup an appointment for the 25th, the day they expect to get the part. He agrees to this. Then I get a call, "We have your part, call us to setup an appointment". I call them and state that I should already have one setup, they look and say no, they show no appointment. The soonest they can do the work is... ready? another week out. This puts me at over a month with no real window. When I was there, I complained about their poor communication, and someone claiming to be a general manager interjected and said they would personally look into it and get back to me. Any guesses? That's right, never heard from them. They don't care. And they had a bunch of kids in their back office that were literally laughing at me, they finally closed the door. This is all a big joke to them, because they have plenty of business. I don't normally bother with reviews, but the service at Luther KIA in Bloomington sucks.

We did not want the dealership pulling credit multiple times. While purchasing the vehicle, the salesman after being told several times that we did not need financing, tried to get a credit app filled out. I had to walk away and take a phone call. When i returned to the table my young daughter was filling out a credit app! This is after tellting the salesperson several times we had financing and we didn't want them to pull credit. I ended up paying cash for the vehicle because they would not reach out to the credit union. The credit union even works with Walser. They do not fill up the gas tank when you purchase. If it has more than a quarter of a tank of gas. I have never experienced that before. When my daughter got the car home, I discovered they took the stickers off the rear window and took a quarter size chunk of tint of while removing the stickers. The sales manager did make that right with us by offering to pay for tint. However, the employee that removed the sticker had to have known he did this. Unfortunately, my daughter got into a car accident and totaled this car before we even got the title in the mail. I am working with my insurance company to get a check for the buyout of the vehicle. The dealership's finance person put on the title that there is a loan on the car with our credit union. I have NEVER had a loan on this vehicle. I wrote a check for it. So once again, I am having to deal with a mistake that Walser did. I now have to coordinate for my credit union to write a letter stating that I do not nor have I ever had a loan with them on this vehicle. The title then that has to go to the state of MN for them to hopefully accept that document and reissue a corrected title. Incredibly sloppy and inaccurate. I am paying consequences for their inept actions. Do not use this dealership.

Premature Wear of SofTex Backseat Material - 2022 Toyota Venza…read more After contacting Walser Toyota in Bloomington, Minnesota on American Blvd W, I contacted the Toyota Brand Engagement Center. I wrote the following complaint to them: I am writing to report a concern regarding the SofTex upholstery in my 2022 Toyota Venza. The backseat SofTex material is tearing and peeling, despite the vehicle having only 22,878 miles and being used under normal driving conditions. I am the sole driver of this vehicle, and the backseat has experienced minimal use. SofTex seats are marketed as durable and long-lasting; however, I have since learned that other owners of 2022 Toyota models have reported premature wear of SofTex seating. While SofTex is generally easier to maintain than leather, there are documented concerns regarding its longevity and resistance to material failure. I initially reported this issue in person to Walser Toyota Bloomington, MN on American Blvd W on Monday, June 2, 2025, and followed up in person two additional times. On each occasion, I was assured that someone would contact me, but no follow-up occurred. I later contacted Jackson H. on December 18, 2025, and I did receive a call back with the suggestion that buying seat covers is a good solution. As I am still making payments on a nearly new vehicle, being told to purchase seat covers to address premature upholstery failure does not align with Toyota's claims of quality, durability, and excellence. Given the low mileage, limited backseat use, and my longstanding confidence in the Toyota brand, I believe this issue reflects a material defect rather than normal wear and tear. I respectfully request that Toyota review this matter and advise on repair, replacement, or coverage options, whether under warranty or through goodwill consideration. I received the following reply from the Toyota Brand Engagement Center. We understand you reported this issue to the dealer on 6/2/25 and 12/18/25. However, our records do not show any inspections by a Toyota dealer related to the wear on your back seat. If our records are incorrect, please upload the repair order showing the diagnosis for your vehicle. I probably will never buy another Toyota again.
