We walked in and Anikia M greeted us and made us feel welcome, we had just come from another dealership and they were Very Pushy. Anikia listened to us and gave us some options that were in her price range. After picking the car she liked we did All the paperwork and she was able to purchase the car on her own!! We were able to complete the purchase a few days later when she had the money for the down payment. Definitely would recommend, everyone was super friendly especially Anikia!

When I got to the Charleston location, they notified us that it was ready who went to go pick it up. No one that was currently working. Could explain anything about how to get certain things to operate. They didn't have the time for us, and they didn't give a crap. So we signed off on the vehicle and drove off, assuming that we could get it figured out. By the next day we had come to the conclusion that the two main installed the functions that we ordered the car for or not actually installed. I understand we have a 10 day. But this was a very rare vehicle. The color was highly unique. The rest of the option set was fairly unique. The price the miles everything fit the bill. All they were able to do, or willing to do was give us $1000 off the price the vehicle. It's gonna cost us $4500 or more to get it installed at a dealership that can do the work. Unacceptable. Let's add to that that after we got home with the vehicle, we discovered it was nasty on the inside underneath the seats. And it was the bottom side of it hadn't been cleaned off. There were some kind of oily residue on one of the back windows. And they wanted to give us $50 to have a professionally cleaned. All around experience, not worth the hassle. We used CarMax because we could order and pay for everything online and they even managed to screw that up too. There is absolutely no concern from the corporate headquarters on fixing the problem, and refused to give us any peace of mind that they would try to correct the issue moving forward for any future customers. So beware if you use CarMax at any given location, you're probably gonna get incomplete service and pour attitudes. If I could give negative stars, I would

DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership…read more I bought an Acura RDX from them and within three days of having by it, problems started surfacing. Before the sale, I was assured the vehicle had "passed a 182-point inspection" and had a "clean history." Those claims could not have been further from the truth. Concerned, I took the vehicle to a local Acura dealership for a thorough evaluation. The result? Nearly $6,000 worth of necessary repairs that should have been identified -- and addressed -- before the vehicle was ever listed for sale. These were not minor cosmetic issues; they were significant problems that directly impact safety, reliability, and value. What's most disappointing is the dealership's response afterward. Management has been unwilling to take responsibility, acknowledge the oversight, or make any meaningful effort to resolve the situation. Once the paperwork was signed, their customer service disappeared entirely. If you value transparency, integrity, and accountability, look elsewhere. The promises made during the sales process did not match the reality of the vehicle, and the lack of post-sale support speaks volumes about how this business operates.

Drop my truck for service they'll strip my dashcam off without asking my permission even when I unplug the main power for giving them the respect of their privacy/policy they still do it, even I told them the first time not too do it, I'm tired of that. I understand the policy under dashcam but please unplug it right or ask before messing with it. 2. When I had a broken bed cover they say it would be bed cover under my warranty and they added a new one but once after review of my old bed cover they say it wouldn't replace it for free for the new cover no more so then I had to circle back big thanks to Gary HAMILTON, he did his best trying to convince the top people to cover it under my warranty and couldn't do it cause it was out of his control. 3. I don't know the comparison of other Honda dealerships but its expensive and I pay around $700 a month for my Honda Ridgeline but doesn't cover other maintenance like transmission, trans fluid, transfer case etc only oil change and tire rotations if I choose to have my vehicle cover it extra would be more expensive. Once I finish with my leasing I'll work on either lease a vehicle of I want that's less costly else where or get a used vehicle from the condition from beater to great else where not at Hendrick Honda anymore. Update from yesterday service: Another reason is They broke my dashcam by one of the tech when I even unplug it from the main source. I understand its policy but please be careful with it or ask me to unplug it. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW MANY TIMES I GOT TO SAY THIS. BE CAREFUL WITH IT.

The young lady that worked with me did an absolute phenomenal job! Very attentive, a lot of active listening, very professional. I was recommended to her by her colleague after he noticed he wasn't successful in selling or convincing me to purchase a car. & Although it didn't work out with him, he didn't let me leave feeling hopeless with no luck, which was appreciated. With the young lady, she was very understanding & sympathetic with my situation and together we found a car. I came back on Monday, April 14th 2025 to pay the down payment totaling $1100, I left with my car happy asf! April 18th, 4 days later, the car was giving me shaking & vibration in the seat, steering wheel and floor base at 50/55mph, but later went away. April 21st, the vibration & shaking returned. I called DriveTime to let them know about this and was recommended to take the car to Firestone on Savannah Highway so that they can file a claim with Silver Rock, who the warranty is through if there are mechanical failure during my 30 day warranty. This specific location was highly recommended by the guy at DriveTime & I quote "I highly recommend the Savannah Highway location because they're more familiar with Silver Rock and how they operate". (THEY ABSOLUTELY SUCK! but that's a different story for a different review) I scheduled my appointment & took my car there on April 26th. Explained to them what was the issue, 4hrs later I left with a wheel bearing replacement, the one that was on the car was ready to pop, per the technician/mechanic. April 29th 2025, I took my car back because the same problem occurred, I was then advised that the car would be kept overnight to have the brake pads & rotors replaced, parts had to be ordered. After having the services completed, my brakes squeaked so bad it sounded like a school bus & the dang car still was shaking at a certain speed! Atp I'm irritated. May 16th, 2 days past my 30day warranty mark at $0 deductible, my engine light started blinking as I was driving and my car began jerking/hesistating and stalling to accelerate past 40mph. I immediately took the car to Firestone who told me that I couldn't be seen for service until Monday or Tuesday (5/19 - 5/20). Drive time was just down the road so I made my way there but stopped by AutoZone for the engine like check & was given a P1326 code. I got to DriveTime where I was told there was nothing they could do because they don't have the authority. I was provided the contact number for their customer sales relations department. I received a case manager and suggested places to take my car anywhere else in network other than Firestone. Took it to precision tune who ran their diagnostic test & told me about the code P1326, Replace Engine Block Assembly! Pretty much the engine was no good! because there was 0 oil in it and its been that way at the time of purchase. Till this day I am praying and hoping that a new engine is not needed because the warranty is giving me a hard time with coverage. I absolutely regret purchasing this vehicle with DriveTime! And no I won't be recommending the business to anyone. I chose to keep everyone's name anonymous, but I do know every last one that I had an encounter with. All down to the mechanics at Firestone. To know me is to know I'm big on reviews and I'm very thorough with the ones I give! Shop at your own risk, LITERALLY! ** update .. the engine has to be replaced

I met a great saleswoman and even spoke to a former colleague I hadn't seen in a few years. I was prepared to sign and drive. When they showed me the new cars, however, the sticker price had been bumped up $4k to $6k each. I didn't understand why the dealer listed price out there online wasn't the same price at the dealership. (of course I know why but it's unethical.) I left and bought a two year old Explorer Limited elsewhere for $15k less than the new base models. I love it! I was told the Explorer I purchased had a recall, so I thought no problem, I'll take it to Palmetto because it's close to my house. I set the appointment over three weeks ago. Palmetto confirmed it via email. NOBODY CALLED TO SAY THE RECALL COULD TAKE A WEEK TO FIX AND I'D NEED TO ARRANGE OTHER TRANSPORTATION. I run a local business and I'd definitely call a customer to clarify before they take time out of their busy schedule to show up to the appointment only to be told this. Get it together, Palmetto.

Then the excuses as to why it sat for 6 weeks and nothing was ever done to it. The communication at that dealership is beyond piss poor. Nobody ever reaches out to tell you what is going on. Then in the mean time while my 2023 Ford F250 is sitting there collecting dust on the lot not doing anything I am stuck in a rental car at 80 bucks a day. Now 80 bucks a day not including gas for 7 weeks do the math on that and that is not including the taxes. To find a live person to answer the phone is like winning the power ball. If anyone calls you back with useful information you hit power ball twice and good for you. I have worked for Ford dealerships and this is the first and very last experience I will ever write about for this place. Let met tell you guys this. I do have a f250 diesel. So yeah one guy working on all the diesels they have coming for service. For a "major" dealership this is not a way to conduct business. Plus when I was told to leave the vehicle I am thinking one to four weeks not a month plus to do a few simple things. So now the games begins when to add insult to injury now that I paid the bill and I was supposed to be reimbursed for the rental car..... yup I get ghosted. So better business bureau and Ford Corp as well as a few other names are going to get emails and phone calls. If you got this far on the comment section a one star is too much for this dealership. If someone from management is reading this do better..... I assure you the money I spent there is the last time this place will see a buck from me.
