WARNING!!! Do not trust Jamie. The only mistake I did is not checking Yelp and relied only on Google reviews. Please read recent reviews and thats exactly what happened with me as well. Jamie came across very friendly and trustworthy at first. He will come up with innovative ideas, repeats what you say and low balls the quote and ensures he gets the first $1000. Then its delays and one excuse after another. He keeps moving the dates. I lost $1000 for "scheduling charges". He never once gave me any sort of formal quote/PDF with timelines, break up, payment schedules whatsoever. Luckily (how ironic),my loan fell through and finances didnt work out because of his delays in starting the project & APR increases. Now he refuses to return the $1000 he owes me and says he had everything set and ready to go for the date we initially discussed and now i went back on the commitment! Stay a mile away from this guy., Here is his strategy, he will low ball your project, absorb more scope get a deposit and from other comments its clear that he may start work here & there & finally abandon! This has been the most frustrating, dishonest, and unprofessional experience I have ever had with a contractor. Shoddy, Incomplete Work: Pavers were laid with no concrete border. Sand and sealant were never applied -- work that now has to be completely redone by someone else. He brought in free dirt from an unknown source and installed artificial grass using a sample piece -- not even real material -- and without a single nail to secure it. When confronted, he actually said "it's the same thing." It was a safety hazard; multiple people tripped on it until we had to remove it ourselves. Not one single item on the job was completed properly. Zero Accountability: [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we raised concerns, he took no responsibility whatsoever.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead, we got an endless parade of excuses over six months -- family emergencies, ER visits, illness, and more. Every deadline passed. Every excuse was followed by another. Six months. Nothing done. Unethical Business Practices: He is not licensed. We hired Jamie for a front and backyard landscaping project. Over the seven weeks that he started the work, his scheduling was a complete mess--workers showed up unpredictably, sometimes just one or two, and often disappeared after a few hours. We were communicating over the yelp app. I believe there was some miscommunication. I was quoted a price for a months worth of my lawn being mowed for $150. However, I said that I did not want the service for a month I only needed it one time. They responded OK. We will give you a quote when we arrive at your place. I was at work so I wasn't there at the house however, my husband was. My husband kept asking me how much it was going to be and I kept telling him that the guy I spoke with said they would give us a quote once they arrive. Once I came home from work, I asked my husband how much it was and he said it was $150. Now I have never paid anyone to mow my lawn before but my lawn is not that large, so I really think I was taken advantage of For $150 for one time mowing a lawn. read more

Unreliable. Makes appointments and does not show up. Gave him 3 chances to pick up two jobs in my community. He set a date and time, and didn't show up. We set another date and time, didn't show up again, no call, nothing. When I texted him he finally gave the excuse that he went out of town for a "family emergency " so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and set another date and time, and again he did not show up! My time is more valuable than that. I do not recommend this business. That is no way to run a business. Unprofessional and unreliable. I would not hire Eduardo (real name: Jaime) again. His work is low quality and dangerous to your property and his crew. I hired Eduardo/Jaime to remove two trees in my backyard. He gave up in the middle of the job after collecting partial payment and never returned again, leaving me with a ton of debris in the backyard and a giant tree stump that I had to pay someone else to remove. He also dropped a heavy tree branch that broke a section of my deck that cost hundreds to repair. This guy is a liability, and I'm not sure he even has a contractor's license and insurance for his business. You'll be lucky if he only does minor damage to your property. Steer clear no matter what low price he may offer you. read more
