Are pavers worth the money? My answer is a resounding "yes!" I had a truly rewarding experience with Agustin and his crew that I was excited to write this review (purely unsolicited). Agustin made the entire process simple. He displayed expertise in his field and was extremely helpful in providing me with viable solutions for my specific challenges. I live in a quiet neighborhood with good next door neighbors but the high population of feral cats in the area have caused a number of problems for everyone in the neighborhood including property damage and risk to public health. I've had 3+ feral cats invading my front yard and back yard for the last few years and I was about to lose my mind over the unsanitary condition that they always left my property. I tried a few remedies to manage the feral cats like using repellents, cat proofing the fence, installing motion-sensor sprinklers, and chicken wire to keep them out, but none of these got rid of the problem. They just made my yard unsightly. I started feeling isolated not feeling comfortable to have friends and family over because of the strays and came very close to selling the house and relocating but I was not ready to move houses just yet. I do love my house. Agustin understood my situation and he helped me design a simple but functional and low maintenance front and side yard yet unattractive to cats (no artificial turfs, pebbles, flower beds, or mulch, and only minimal planting beds). Agustin was charismatic, a joy to work with, flexible, and responsive and timely with his communications. Best of all he helped me stay within my budget for this project. I was a little worried about price disparities because of my gender and was going to ask a male family member for help during the negotiation process, but in the end I got even a better deal just being myself. I was really impressed with Agustin and his team's work on my landscape project. From the initial consultation to carrying out the project, he and his team were professional and super communicative which I fully appreciated. Agustin is very punctual and will text me updates and questions throughout the project. We overhauled our entire landscape and had his team put in gravel, artificial turf, concrete slabs and a deck. They did all this within two weeks, given there were a few delays due to weather which was totally understandable. Last year our backyard grass turned into weeds and a mud pit with all the rain and was mostly unuseable. One broken sprinkler, the rest off at weird angles. This was the year for change. We contracted with Ecosite Landscaping and they followed through on EVERYTHING we wanted beautifully: 1. Added to our existing patio (pavers) to make it more functional 2. Moved the sprinkler heads affected by adding the patio 3. Replaced all other sprinkler heads 4. Dug out all the weeds and old dirt 5. Installed new grass after laying down fresh dirt Two weeks in, I just mowed for the first time today and the grass is lush and beautiful. Family couldn't be happier, it's gonna be a great summer! I got about 5 bids, but ultimately chose Ecosite because 1) they have a website showcasing their previous work, 2) they have business cards with their contractor's license. It was very nice to work with Jose and his team. We hired Jose and his team to pave our backyard and install a drain under the paver to replace our gutter. Their quote was very reasonable among all the quotes we had. And the quality of their work was also very solid. Our yard was a bit messy with a lot of shrubs and trees. Jose's team did a careful root removal job, and the paving was of course also with high quality. We had a miscommunication that only 2 of the 3 gutters were upgraded and connected to the new drain (not a big deal). But the great part was, without much more discussion, Jose and his team agreed to spend one more day to fix the remaining gutter without any additional charge, even after we had already paid him the full remaining balance.
