We hired John and his team at H&J Landscaping for a complete backyard renovation and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The project included a paver patio, grass installation, concrete stepping stones with pebble borders, flower beds with irrigation, tree planting, a retaining wall and landscape lighting throughout. I worked with John from H&J Landscaping Services to redo my front yard which really needed a giant overhaul. Over the course of 2 months I had John do many things for the front yard which included redoing our small concrete driveway since we have another driveway on the right side yard. We also had John add concrete step stone slabs, beach pebbles, new lawn, flower beds and landscape lighting. Overall it turned out wonderful. I am so happy with how our front yard looks now. We get a ton of compliments especially since it was the holidays just now and we had a lot of guests over. Everyone was impressed and so was I. John and H&J Landscaping overall was quite affordable. His quote was in the mid range which I expected with his experience and since hes a licensed landscaping contractor. I would never make the mistake of hiring unlicensed work again as I had someone install some pavers in our backyard and it turned into a nightmare. The person didnt properly slope the paver installation so it flooded and I had to hire someone else to redo it. Lesson learned there. I have a few more things I need done in the backyard which I am thinking of working with John again in the early spring. Thinking of doing a retaining wall flower bed for a nice vegetable garden and herbs. Hopefully we can plan it right so we can get some fresh herbs before the end of summer haha.
